Peace And Quiet Or This? My Choice

My daughter, Mimi,
called to ask if I would like her
to drive up with
Thing 1 and Thing 2
BigBoyE and CharlesInCharge.

Is there even a decision to
be made there?

I mean..
Do I really WANT to spend
a day all by myself
drinking coffee,
watching my favorite TV shows,
whilst packing away Christmas?

No...indeedy.
I would much rather watch
THIS  in action.
Our driveway comes down
a semi-steep hill.
All the kids love to drag the
bicycles or
cars or riding toys
to the top and whiz down.

BigBoyE is no exception.
Not only does this one go fast
it makes noise!
Is there anything to make a boy happier?
Okay- GO-
Why doesn't this thing keep going?
Wait...
Papa will help you!
Papa will teach you how to drive a CAR!
Now, I'm not saying that
Papa isn't a
GOOD DRIVER
(there have been many family
discussions and snickers on
THAT topic- if you remember
I drive and HE rides)
but after just one lesson
BigBoyE seems to have
gone
OFF ROAD.
OH NO!
Now what?
I think Papa needs to go to
Driving School.

Meanwhile..
Scowly and Mama
catch a minute's repreive.
And...now that I have
found my camera,
I will be back with
pictures of our little
Charles In Charge.

Meanwhile, it's off for some
ON THE ROAD
lessons for
MyHero!
After all, he's not quite
ready for the nursing home yet.

Oh My, Oh My... Charles in Charge could be called Charles with Cheeks.. What a gorgeous baby.
And how fun, to have such fun cars at Nana's house...& Papa has time to play... what a fun place you must have. It is no wonder they all want to be there...
(& you don't have any snow?? we have lots just across the lake : )

Yep, it's a boy-thing! If there's dirt, they will find it. If there are wheels to be ridden on or taken off, they will do it. If there is noise to be made, they will find and conquer. Now girls are a totally different mechanism which we can explore later.....lol! Looks like you and hubby had a great time!

I needed this one this morning. Where to begin? CIC has the most scrunched up face, so he must be dirtying his diaper. Great concentration face.
Mimi looks better than the last time you posted her, so hopefully, she is feeling much better now.
The frog hat and mittens are cute!
I am so sad that BBE already has the trait of not asking for directions. I don't think that MH taught him that, its probably built in.
The boy needs a jeep to off road, not a pink sissy car! He's saying, Nana- don't blog this! Its going to come back and bite me on the but when my voice starts changing! It'll probably get me beat up in the locker room!
I see MH needs a compass to get out of the driveway...what a great idea for the guy who thinks he knows everything...just kidding, MH!
Maybe............bwahahahaha!

Look at that little scrunched up face. Adorable. Makes me want to have another baby. Might be too old for that, but maybe I can rent a baby.

Oh, NanaD, what a lovely cast of characters you have. I hope you had a BIG cuppa, then you'll be able to keep up with this crew. Enjoy!

The look on Charles' face made me laugh. He almost looks mad. :):) He'll show his brother how to drive in just a short time. Smiles to all of you today, Susie (She Junks).

Diana, you made the right choice. Peace is found not only in quiet but mostly in JOY. It is the things that bring the heart joy which bring it most peace. :)
Love the pics.
Muah!

I am the designated non~driver in the family...not sure why. I haven't driven on the sidewalk in quite awhile! ;-D

Stay warm, my friend!

They are both adorable, Diana! I love that frog had on Big Boy E. I think you should give Papa the benefit of the doubt and go with the froggy hat obstructed the view for a moment! : )

Love the car little E. is driving. That sweet new baby is such a chubby cheek one, isn't he? What a cutie.
I agree with your choice. I always choose the fun option instead of the routine one. It's nice to be asked and needed.
Hope you are having a good week.
I am finally back online again......computer died. Alot of catching up to do.
