Jumping Into January With Both Feet

Well...
Jumping in with both feet
and hoping my butt will follow.

First, I must tell you some sad news.
I cannot find my camera.
I know I had it when I drove to
Illinois with my son
but...
I have not seen it since.

All of you that are cheering
because of looking at my
feeble attempts at
GOOD PICTURES
can just hush your mouths now.

I WAS GOING to
take some pictures of
January things around here..
but I surfed the web a bit,
found Pinterest and...
well...here you go.

Here is a day in my
Imaginary Life.
Can I get an Amen to
THAT THOUGHT?
Sometimes all we have to do
is believe in ourselves...
even if others are consumed with
doubt...
I do believe that I CAN!

Morning will find me on my way
to Starbucks.
This is a scene that is common in
our neck of the woods this time of year.
After a drive through
Winter Wonderland,
sipping my hot coffee,
I would come home to this
Sweet Tree
holding court on my sun porch.
Walking into my kitchen
I would find these happy
little faces smiling at me.

And, instead of making  bows
for the girls' hair
I might be tempted to make
a sweet little skirt...
or two...or three....
Won't be making one in my size,
thankyouverymuch,
because I already am
HIPPY enough.

And, while I'm dreaming I spot
a picture of
January Jones which
I will share with MyHero.
As you can see~
THAT proved to be a big mistake
cuz look at what happened to the
COOKIE he was holding.
Wow-
Who knew??

Back with some REAL pictures tomorrow..
I hope....
Camera?  Camera?  Camera?
Did anyone find my camera?
your photo name

You are so funny. I love the winter scene. Just as long as its at your house is fine with me. I can enjoy it at a distance.
Its turned colder here and I am not getting out at all. Should warm up in the 40s again on Thursday.
Still having tummy troubles and I have had about 3 hours sleep tonight.

It's too bad cameras aren't like cell phones and you could call it to see where it is, Diana! I hope you find it soon although I enjoyed your pictures. Those snowman ornaments are just adorable!

Too funny! But - I was happy to see that even high fashion models sometimes have wardrobe malfunctions. January's top is a bit crooked and the point that belongs above the left breast has slipped somewhere. It happens all the time to brides I am shooting and if painlessly try to fit it in photoshop, but if January can have a crooked top, is should be okay to leave it - right?
And I do hope you find your camera. Or - have an opportunity to get another one. Really - you should have a back up anyway. Memories are too precious to leave to chance and an electronic device can fail at a moments notice. Two cameras are really a modern day necessity.

Diana
This was sure good for an early morning laugh.
That little skirt with the cowboy boots-I can only imagine that little gal line dancing in that get up.
And the melting husband-yea, I get it!
I do hope you find your camera. I have to compliment you on your calmness about the whole ordeal. Me, I'd be frantic!!

Oh...that cookie had me laughing. I would have loved to have made some of those for Christmas. And yes, we have a bit of the white stuff but it is blowing more than settling.

I hope you find your camera...I would be lost without mine.

Jane

I must tell you, Diana, I'll put in a few bucks for a new camera, as it will keep me from ruining my keyboard, monitor and laptop! I almost spit my tea all over the desk! Instead - I swallowed quickly and almost choked I was laughing so hard!

I hope you find your camera. I know how lost I was when I dropped and broke mine a couple of months ago. While your story is hilarious, losing your camera is a crying shame!

Blessings,
Donna

I hope you find your camera. If somebody loses something in this house, we go around clapping randomly. If we had a clapper attached to the lost item we would of found it, but sadly there are no clappers to be found here. Remember the clapper?

So funny, Diana!! Glad to read in your next post that you found your camera, yeah! While I could do without seeing all of that snow and ice for the rest of my life, I can always dream that some day I'll be looking like that blond:) Great quote, by the way!

Oh, January Jones. I'm pretty sure she's the reason my husband likes Madmen. But that's OK, since I'm pretty much in it only for Mr. Draper. :)
I hope you find your camera soon! That's a bummer.
