A LIttle Pinterest Request

I have been trying
to get a
 Pinterest
"membership"
since last Fall
after seeing things
like this.
I have sent in a
request several times
only to be told that
I would be
receiving an invite.
Sadly, so far,
that has not happened.

Now my understanding
is that someone that
is already a member
can invite others.
Is that how it works?
If so,
could someone
PLEEEEASE
 send me
an invite?

I promise to keep
your identity a secret
because
MyHero
will be looking for you...
and blaming
YOU
for contributing
to my addiction(s).

This is NOT one of
My Addictions
even though
I live in Wisconsin
(otherwise known as the
BEER STATE)
google image
Are you gagging yet?
I found THAT on Pinterest, too!;>)
Yes! I! Did!

Hey!
I told MyHero I gave up
SUGAR.
I gave up
WHEAT PRODUCTS.
I don't
DRINK.
I don't
SMOKE.
I don't do
DRUGS
(Well, unless you
consider
STARBUCKS coffee
a drug)

AND
MOST IMPORTANT
OF ALL...
I gave up
DATING!

A little pinning
surely
won't hurt....
Will it?

He thinks
THIS
is a pin.

Maybe I can throw
him off track
and keep him
in the garage
(so I can pin)
by offering him a
PIN
of his own.

Whaddayathink?

Edited @ 6:25am
I have an invitiation.
Thanks, Lorraine.

Now..
If any of you have popped by
tell me what you
LOVE
at Pinterest.
Any ideas where I should start?
Thanks.

Have fun...I would have happily invited you but see someone beat me to it. Happy pinning Diana!

Have fun! You'll be addicted like the rest of us in no time. I'm always pinning home decor, food, holidays or quotes.

Oh gosh, you'll love pinterest! It reminds me of the old days when I tore pictures out of magazines and put them in folders. Oh wait, I still do that too! Way more ideas than I'll ever be able to use, but it's still fun!

Oh, you could have a Starbucks board and a fat hairy guy board. You will seriously get lost on that site. I try to stay off of it if I don't have 4 hours to spend on it that day. I would send you an invite, but it looks like LDH already did.

Diana, Your post reminds of a day I had a gallbladder attack, at work. I said "you can't eat, drink, or have sex, what's the sense of living?!" My co-worker's husband said ,"There's always fishing ." So I said, "kill me now." Good luck on pinterest. Let me know how that works. I have seen it a couple times but know nothing girl. Smiles, Susie

Strange world of computers and internet if they keep losing your invite! :) Have fun.
Hope you have a great weekend, and as always, thanks for stopping by.

Well, Diane all I can say is be prepared to be addicted! I know I am but I love it and as I tell my husband "it keeps me out of trouble".
At first I didn't care for it than one day I started pinning and I haven't stopped since, my boards are for me so that I can go back when an idea pops in my head, to see what I had pinned to pertain to that idea. Go to my blog and you will see a, in red, Follow me on Pinterest then you can look at my boards and sort of see what it's all about...let me know so that I can follow you!
Have fun,
Rondell♥

I am totally addicted to Pininterest. I can spend hours adding to my boards and pinning and re-pinning. I just joined, never had to get an invite.

I have not done this...yet. Rebecca does it all the time and has tried getting me to do it. So, if you would like to invite me...I have been saving pinning for the cold winter months and I think they are here, I would appreciate it.
I think you should start with starbucks...

Uh-oh......you're gonna regret this, D!!! lolol! You're gonna spend the rest of your days in a Pinterest Coma like me and nothing will get done in your house. You'll have dust bunnies the size of a gorillas rolling around on your floors, mold growing in your frig, and the laundry pile will grow taller than your house. Don't say I didn't warn'ya!!!! HAHAHA!!!

I am a member and have only been on twice. Once to register and then this week. I keep getting followers and who knows what they are following. Maybe I will figure it out. I spend too much time blogging to really spend time there. Just saying......(((((HUGS)))))

Ok, now I am totally confused. I didn't know you needed an invite to join! I must be the last blogger who's not yet made it to Pinterest. I've been wanting to check it out, but now you've left me even MORE confused, so thanks!! Oh, and thanks also for the "eewwww" photo! I thought your state was all about the cheese!!

Diana
You know, you are the funniest lady out there in blogland! I literally laughed out loud when I read this post! But, please, do you have to make me ill with that beer gut? I know I'll have nightmares of that tonight!
I'm so glad you got invited to the party, even if you had to beg for an invitation-wink!
I love, love, love, pininterest and now I'll have one more to visit. That is if your not mad about the begging part, and don't ban me from your blog now!
I love the decorating, organizing, crafts, holiday ideas, household tips, (are you writing this down?).
I really am not too sure I want to see Mr. Beerbelly again however. But I'm sure I would love whatever you choose to share.
I can't wait to see what you come up with!
Blessings-Kimberly

At the end of the day, I treat myself to pinterest. It is full of beautiful wonders and once you get the hang of it you will fall in love! It is such a creative place and on top of that - it is very relaxing to me for some reason. I guess it's because you see something, you pin it and share with others. No other work involved. It's even been a great source for posts - you can search for something and be amazed at what you will find!
Enjoy!

Oh I wish I had known I would have sent you one!!! I am totally addicted to Pinterest and love it more than blogging...why? No pressure!!!
Happy Pinning Diana!!

OMG that was a man's horribly hairy belly....very gross.
You wonder why there are so many children in the world with men like that in society....
You might want to try Susan at Between Naps on the Porch to get you your invite....

Hi Diana,

I've just opened myself an account, took less then a few hours after requesting from Pinterest. I have a couple of books or some such, so let's talk and figure out how to work this thing - everyone is talking about it!

Sorry scrolled down and saw the gut - gagged and came to the comments.

Hugs,
Donna
