Big Boys And Their Toys

My Hero
generally reads my blog.
He sometimes thinks it
is funny.
Sometimes, I get the
eye roll
(y'all KNOW the
EYE ROLL right?;>)
The eye roll usually is accompanied
by the word
"DIANA"
when he thinks I have
touched on the naughty
side of things.
But, usually, he just
reads and leaves
grinning.

Yesterday
he came in all excited
and asked me to do a
blog about him and
MamasBoy.

What?
What about?
I'll email you.
It's about a
TOY.
A TOY?
What kind of toy?
One with wheels.
Oh...you mean like
our Little Man rides?
Nope!
You mean like THIS one?

Nope!
How about THIS one?

Nope!
LOOK AT THIS!
Oh My!
Does one size fit all?

ummm.
Apparently it does.
I see the shoe horn worked!
Side view
Rear view
Wow-
What are ya gonna do with it?
Sell it!
Of course you are!
Uh-Huh.

I think you have a least
TWO OTHER
Wheeled things that
you were gonna sell, too.
Right?

Let's just say this is the
last time you two are
allowed to go out on a
Saturday morning
unsupervised!

And you complain that
I want to spend money
on
THIS?

Seriously..........

Oh, I know all too well when a car can come rolling in to the garage and that is just fine with them, but if I want something I get the we don't need that look or we can't afford that. I remind him of his cars and he says that is an investment. Sure it is. Actually he can't buy anything either these days. Thank goodness.

Your Paint--his car, hmmm. He should be grateful, it could have been something a whole bunch more expensive.

I say keep the paint and get rid of the car..kind of like the sports car and motorcycle that hubs had to have, that sits in our garage wondering when they will see the light of day:) Yep thats a guy for you....

Well, I am on your hubby's side as I am the one who drags in the cars ... hubby just sighs. Tell hubby 'good choice'! Love it.

Have a lovely day ~

I could do that car...I could do the paint, too. I'm easy like that...but I think you should get more paint than in the photo and of course, more stuff to paint. YOU could paint the car....teal would be a good color.
Don't forget to use a roller.

You are not allowed to push me anywhere close to a hill...or a lake...or a major highway. Just saying.

My hubs likes his toys too~the motorcycle came last year and i grin and bear it when asked to ride. I would much prefer a sports car!!!

I wonder if chalk paint works on refinishing cars too? Ha! I guess you have nothing to feel guilty about now when purchasing cans and cans of it! Enjoy!

I LOVED your "shoehorn" comment! Let us know how the "selling" goes.:-)

We all like our "toys", it's just that some toys cost so much more than others. Mr's toys are books, fairly inexpensive, but an ongoing storage problem. My toys are lipsticks. No problem there. LOL!! Your dh's toy is expensive so I think he owes you a LOT of paint. Just sayin...

Yay! I can comment! : )

Love the big boy's car, but I love the little one's car, too. Enjoy your football! We will be watching the Giants game later today.

Yeah, I'm with you - - - seriously.....

The shoe horn is the best comment yet! The best thing about him buying this car is after he gets it fixed up, he'll drive it around a bit, beat the tar out of himself (I've owned a few of these so I know they are some of the most uncomfortable rides!!) and maybe will sell it!

Oh, Diana - if you haven't already, go buy the paint. If you have, you need to pose it on the kitchen counter for a couple of days!! he he he!

Have a great game!

Blessings,
Donna

This is so cute! I love the shoe horn! The car's a guy thing! It could be worse; he could come home with a motorhome! Mine did! I'm with you on the paint! It's fun in a can!

Mine brings home stray motorcycles. Yours brings home cars and motor homes. And where is that orange thing anyhow?

Suzanne@Meridian Road said...

Ha! It has to have a motor to be worth anything. Or at least wheels.
I think you are totally justified in buying the paint. Heck, get 4 or 5 colors!

Did Dad buy this car? Where in the heck is he storing it? It does look pretty cool, though. Not very 'roomy' though :)
