Now I'm not saying...
Seriously ..
I am NOT saying..
That this is
THE BEST
Pumpkin Pie Torte
that you will ever eat.
I don't have to tell you
because pictures
speak for themselves.BabyE was given a tablespoon
of
Pumpkin Pie Torte
that was left in
Mom's Dish.
I don't know if he has ever
had a real
sugary treat before.
Here he is trying to figure
Here he is trying to figure
out how to get it
out of the bowl..
Hmmmm...Maybe
Just Maybe..
If he puts the bowl down
a bit and leans his face
towards it...
Maybe-just maybe..
that will work?He gets enough in his mouth
to look at Mom and
signal
with his baby blues..
Mmmm...This is good!Next he looks at Nana.
Mmmm...Nana...You are the most wonderful,
beautiful, sweetest Nana ever.
I love you Nana.
This is THE BEST
Pumpkin Pie Torte in the
whole world!
Can't you just read that in his expression?
I can...because I am the
Grandchild Whisperer..
I KNOW what they are thinking..
And...because I know...
Because I KNOW..
how much this little boy loves this
I ask him
ever so sweetly..
Do you want another bite?
What do you think this expression means?
I'm taking that for a YES..
A big resounding YES!
One more baby bite..
and then it's off to bathtime and
beddy-bye for you.
Now in case..
just in case..
You, too, would like to see
looks like this on the faces
of your family and friends...
I am posting the recipe
right here for you.
It is courtesy of Carol
a volunteer co-worker..
She said it was
calorie free between
November 1st and Thanksgiving..
but she may have been lying..
you know how those red-heads are.
So..go ahead...be brave..
Try this for yourself!

Well, I just think I've found another new recipe to try. BTW, the cutie is precious!
That sounds yummy! I will take BabyE's advice and give it a try.
I'll have whatever he has if it will make me have such a sincere and gorgeous smile like that!!! I just want to pinch him!!
You are just too funny! Such cute pictures, too! Ok, I am coming over for dessert! The monks in the UP better watch out, Nana Diana's dessert takes the cake, er, I mean takes the "torte"!

Delicious looking, you are blessed to be surrounded by the cutest kids!
XoXo
That certainly looks good especially all over his cutest face with those bright blue eyes. I think his eyes even look bluer surrounded by pumpkin.
As long as it's kid tested, I'll give it a try. LOL
I love BabyE. Big blue eyes and pinchable cheeks. Lovin that curly hair.
I'm putting that on my wish list.
Hugs- Tete
Hi Diana,

I know what you mean about being a grandma whisperer...me too..I can understand them so perfectly! I love the recipe and have been making it for years..it is SO good! ;D
Yummy, you can tell by that sweet little one's face.
That is similar to what we call pumpkin pie cake.
Gonna give it a try, if I can find a can of pumpkin.
Thanks D
Love ya
Ok...seriously how cute is that little guy??!! Oh man those blue eyes are gonna make the ladies come running someday! What a great recipe to use as an alternative to pumpkin pie...I think we may just have to make this one at our house next week! :-)
Vanessa
I have to admit, we didn't eat a whole lot of pumpkin growing up but a few years ago Mom made a "punkin roll" and it is amazing! I might have to try this for one of our Thanksgiving deserts this year. Thanks for sharing. And that baby is just a perfect little angel. I think he likes it.
What an absolute cutie!!! And the torte looks pretty yummy too:)
Thanks Dianna! Always love your posts about BabyE - not that we're partial or anything! :) Aunt Catherine & Uncle Justin
Oops Diana - sorry about the extra "n"!! Was thinking of Justin & Jason's mom! ;)
I loved the part about when the cake is calorie free!!!!
Yum! Lots of whipped cream for me in this one - I am so there!!! Or maybe here....since the little blue eyed cutie ate the rest....and from the sounds of it, who could blame him?!?
Purrs!
Romeo
