Seeking Prayers On Sunday

I talked to a sweet friend
of mine, Janet O,
this week.
Her children and ours grew
up together.  They had
one of those love/hate
relationships that only happen
when kids are close in age
and temperament.
Matter of fact, I think
there were some
"first kisses" between
her kids and ours but
my kids SWEAR that is
NOT TRUE!
Liar, Liar, Pants On Fire!

Anyway, Janet O. has a beautiful
daughter-in-law,
Jessica, married to her son, Nathan.
Isn't she gorgeous?

Janet asked for
prayers for Jessica.
I told her I have the
best prayer warriors
in all of Blogland...
YOU GUYS (or girls).

She has a rare-very rare
type of cancer...

Choriocarcinoma
You can read about it here.
It is through her whole
system, including her
brain and her lungs.
Please, please, please
pray for Jessica.
Pray not only that she
will be completely
healed but that she
can have a baby sometime
in the future.
She is feeling sad and
disheartened by this whole
experience and we want
to see her looking like
this again.
All prayers will be welcomed
and Janet will tell
Jessica to check for your comments.

Another update on
Charlie-the nephew of
Jettie.  The one that
fell and landed on his face.
This is taken from her blog.
You can read that original post here.
Charlie is now off the Vent, and in a step down room, out of ICU.  His mouth is wired shut, so he isn't talking, but he is looking around and has both eyes open.  Discussions are ongoing as to his therapy, which will be at a hospital closer to home.  No time frame is in place yet, just have to wait and see how his recovery goes.  He won't be having more facial surgery, I was told.  Just keep praying for him and his family, please.  He has a long recovery ahead
 The other person I
am waiting for an update on
is this darling little boy, Evan.
Here is the only update & this
is from April 19th.
The surgeon called our daughter late last night.  He told her our grandson's condition is VERY complicated and he is unsure how to treat him...spewing off words too big for her to wrap her mind around.  His office called her today and she and our little guy will be meeting next Thursday, April 26 with a a different doctor specializing in pediatric immunology and infectious disease. The following day, Friday, April 27 they will return to see the surgeon for a follow-up visit since his bone biopsies.  He is still leaning towards some kind of infection I guess...but what? And...why so complicated?  I am discouraged because it is taking so long to treat him, to let us know what exactly is going on with him.
You can read his story here.
I hope no news is good news..
and I will let you know as
soon as I hear anything.
Sunday blessings to all....

Hi Diana! I have lifted them up to the Lord. Very, very sad for this young woman! It breaks my heart just reading about it. Life is just so sad at times that it's just more than we can bear just reading about it. I will be keeping all three in my prayers.

My heart goes out to Jessica, this is awful for her following on from her miscarriage. I will certainly pray for her, and I sincerely wish her all the best.
Thank you for posting an update on Charlie. I hope his long recovery is uneventful. Like you, I hope the no news is good news for Evan.

Oh, how horribly sad! I have never heard of that kind of cancer...wow, to be grieving the loss of the child you were carrying and then battling cancer at the same time has to be agonizing.

I am definitely praying for Jessica...for a complete recovery and the ability to have more children. (As one who has a long history of fertility issues, I know firsthand how much pain the longing for a child brings.) I will continue to pray for her...please send along my love and best wishes.

Hope you have a beautiful day.

Love,
Patti

Praying for beautiful Jessica. Praying she will be strong and return to good health.
I have also been wondering what became of Evan...he will be in my prayers also, along with Jettie's s-i-l...God is Good.
With many prayers from blogland, God hears us. He always answers our prayers. We have to remember , it's His way.
I know that God has blessed me. xoxoxo, Susie

Diana, YOU are an angel. I will absolutely say a prayer for each of these people. How devastating for Jessica. Bad enough to lose a baby but then for that to happen, so tragic. Certainly puts my own little problems that I am fretting overin perspective big time. I so believe in the power of prayer and know there are tons of great people you can reach throughout blogland. Sending my best.

Praying for Jessica and Evan, along with Charlie this morning.

You are an amazing prayer warrior and you really know how to rally your troops! I'm on my way to church now and will have a great opportunity to life your intentions for these dear ones up in prayer. There is a blog called Little Boo Blue. Ashley has a similar, if not the same cancer as Jessica. You can read about her journey - she is extremely uplifting. Her motto is Choose Joy. She's come a long way, so it is a ray of hope. Many prayers and thanks for letting us know. Blessings, Tia

Seems we go through our lives, not realizing there are others who are facing such monumental situations in their lives. Praise God for loving souls like you that pass the information along to the rest of us.
I prayed before commenting here...and will keep lovely Jessica, Charlie, and Evan, and their families in prayer for the peace that transcends all understanding.
God Bless them all, and you too sweet Diana.
Blove you.

Life certainly does hand us some challenges, doesn't it? You can be assured that I have prayed for all of them, and are hoping for their recovery. If there are enough of us, and I know there is, miracles can happen.

Oh, Lord NO! A while ago, I stumbled upon a blog LIL BLUE BOO ...because google was trying to think for me as usual!...and I was totally sucked in because this young woman had just learned she had the same thing! Then I spent the next few days babbling about it to my nurse friend and she explained it all to me. It just seems like the cruelest thing ever! To miscarry...and then that actual heartbreak literally brings on a cancer! That poor thing! Thank you for telling us! We will be lifting her up daily.

Prayers on their way to Heaven for all three! I can't imagine the pain any of these people and their families are going through, but my heart goes out to them.
And I just found out that one of my little clients is in the hospital with cancer. It seems she's been in some pain since before Christmas but she just mentioned it last week as she was not wanting to burden her Mother. Her Mom was pregnant and having complications, so she didn't complain until the pain begun to get unbearable. Imagine that - from a child. Anyway - they were doing a bone marrow something or another on Friday and we don't know anyway yet. Hopefully, it will be curable.
