Glad Glad For The Day We Had

(apologies in advance for
my poor attempts at
channeling Dr. Suess)

Glad, Glad,
I am glad.
I am glad for
the  Easter
we had.
Look, Look,
At the place we ate.
Everyone here
just cleaned their plate.
Look up, Look up,
 The place is new
The sky is outside
and inside, too.
Bunny, Bunny,
You're so nice,
You let us take your picture
Not once, but twice.

Here is Naughty...
Here is Nice...
Eggs, Eggs,
Let's go hunt eggs,
Reach way up and
use those legs!
Run, Run,
In your little suit,
You sure are happy
and you sure are cute.
SweetCheeks, SweetCheeks,
Look at that smile!
Did you collect all those
in that little while?
Pictures, Pictures,
All sit down,
Give us smiles,
And nary a  frown!
Ria, My Ria,
With your pretty smile,
You captured BigBoyE
for a little while.
Lulu, Lulu,
Who has feet that are bare?
Is it CharlesInCharge
with his reddish hair?

Wait- Wait-
There's something amiss,
Where oh Where
Is the other sis?

Where, Where
Where did SweetCheeks go?
We want a picture
of her, you know.

Oh! Oh!
What a little honey,
She's over on the swings
Counting out her money.
Now that Easter is over,
There's been a switch,
I am penny poor
and SweetCheeks is rich!

You may be penny poor but you are rich in grandchild love, Diana! It looks like you had a beautiful day. The kids look so cute ~ I had to smile at BigBoyE in his suit. When my son was about that age I got him his first little suit for Easter, too. He looked like a mini man ~ just needed a briefcase! : )

What a lovely day...one I am sure your grandkids will remember! The place you ate looks rather swish! The Easter egg hunt looks great. We had one yesterday with our grandchildren and their cousins.....such fun! Isn't it great being a Grandparent? Joan

What a cute way to tell about Easter at your house.

Looks as if you had a great day with all the munchkins.

Gracie couldn't wait to count her money either. It seems the Easter Bunny forgot to bring her the Sivermist Fairie she wanted, so she needed money to go to Walmart to get it herself. After the egg hunt, her parents took her and she paid for it in change. But - she got enough to buy both Silvermist and Fawn.... and had money left over. I'll post eventually, but I'm working a lot this week, so I'm not sure when.

It is very easy to see that you had a special Easter with these lovely children! Yes, it seems that WE are the ones who are "broke" after these special holidays.:-) Your talents never cease to amaze me, Diana!

Diana,
Looks like you had a wonderful Easter. These pictures bring back sweet memories of when my kids were small and all the cousins together coloring eggs, face painting, and Easter egg hunts. I wanted to let you know that Danelle left you a comment on the white chocolate chip banana bread recipe on our blog if you wanted it. Have a good week ahead.

I think the Dr. Seuss people are gonna be coming after you, Diana! Looks like you all had a great day, I was waiting for your green eggs and ham bit. Love BigBoy E in his pin stripe suit, how cute is that? And even little brother was looking rather dapper! And of course the girls always look cute, but I must say I like their "nice" faces the best!!

Your poem is cute. Your just a crazy old nana, you know it?
There's nothing more fun than an egg hunt, that's for sure. The clothes are wonderful. I so remember dressing up when I was little in a new easter dress, so I am sure the girls and guys both had so much fun parading around and knowing just how cute they are.
