There once was a Nana named Diana,
That had a grandgirl named Anna,
To honor the sweet miss,
She set up a dish,
But forgot to put out the banana.
Ah-yes---I might have neglected to get a
BANANA
but I did remember to make
SHAMROCK COOKIES!
Bet you want to see more of that
cute little table,
don't you?
Well, that is not gonna happen today.
I do, however, have another
LITTLE LIMERICK
for you.
MyHero said- Let's go for a ride,
We'll rent a room-it'll be exciting inside,
So I said, Yes, with a grin,
but found much to my chagrin,
but found much to my chagrin,
He had forgotten the TV guide.
Welcome to MY EXCITING life..
Have a wonderful EXCITING Sunday!
Hope you remembered to set your clock ahead.
Hope you remembered to set your clock ahead.

My first chuckle of the earlier-than-usual morning! :-) Love those plates... and cookies... and limericks! Thanks to you, my brain will be busy making limericks all day. I hope it takes a break while I'm in church this morning. Lol
Diana, Such cute little dishes. I just told Teddy Bear about Hero bike sled, ha, now I will have to show him this. :):) Hope you are having a warmer day. It's sunny and suppose to be 41 degrees here, ...well that's warm to me. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
oh Diana, you are such a hoot!!!!!!! what more can I say????? -loud, belly chuckle-
(from your comment on my blog).... now as to liking the "longer" summer evenings.... (with DST) those long summer evenings are always there, my Dear! the sun rises, is over head, goes down, and sets..... according to the sun's "time".... all 365 days of the year. so the long summer evenings are always there. to enjoy. to be so happy about. always-there.
the government's DST, does not *give* them to us.
nature and the sun, gives us dawn, day, late afternoon, and evening... 365 days a year. on her lovely schedule.
bahhhhhh-humbug on the government's DST!!!!!!
sorry, I got a bit carried away, there... at the end... -giggggles-

Diana, You always make me smile or laugh. Just where would men be without their remotes. Ours sleeps with us in the middle of the bed!
Love your poems too. Lovely Irish table scape.
hugs
Sissie
Diana,

Too funny! I still haven't set my clocks forward yet. I have so many clocks that it may take me awhile. I wish we didn't have to change them in the first place. Ugh!
I worried...the limerick lends itself so well to naughtiness, but you persevered and did well both times! You're the pro!!
Thank you for a good laugh today... but my sides are still aching from laughing so hard last night with dear friends we had dinner with in our neighborhood. Shamrock cookies, I think it would be funny if the green icing made green tongues. One Halloween I made Bat cookies and yup you guessed it iced with black. My Grands after eating lots looked a fright!
Happy Sunday!
xoxo,
Vera
Your posts often make me chuckle, as did this one today! I could definitely go for one of your shamrock cookies.

Diana! You have totally MADE MY DAY!!!!
You missed your calling in life - you are so funny and really cheer me up with your cute sayings and jokes. At least your Hero look comfortable checking out the stations.
Have a great week Diana.
xxoo

And to think I was honored with my very own limerick this morning. ;-)
Love the dishes, Diana!
You realize any of us gals could put our husband's face on your hero's remote arm!!! lol Such a familiar site!
That's funny! Doing nothing! Love it!
The shamrock cookie looks soft and sweet!
Love that limerick! I thought about making shamrock cookies but instead made cupcakes, then I ate most of them. I have been gone but so happy to be back and reading your blog.
Hilarious. Nothing can throw me off my schedule of doing nothing :)

You are hilarious! No, I haven't set my clocks ahead yet. I've been cleaning and sorting all day in this rainy weather so I have no need for the time...except for quitting time. ;)
we used to make shamrock cookies many years ago
Your table setting is lovely! I love the green wreath design on the china! Mother and I made shamrock cookies too- what a sweet reminder. Your hero and mine need to get together! They sound and look alike! :)
Oh, Diana, too funny as usual, and I did forget to set the clocks until I got up at 9:00 and thought I had gotten up really early for a Sunday morning!!! I pray that you never lose that remote or the excitement will be all over! And your little blobs look very appealing!!..Happy Sunday..Judy
Lovely tablesetting Diana. That cookie looks yummy. Got anymore?cute limericks!I hope you took advantage of that extra bit of daylight today. It was warmer here today and we had a bit ofmelting. Excuse the missing spaces, but I dictated this and I can't go back and correctanything. Don't you just love modern technology?
I'm sure you are enjoying that extra sunlight and 40+ heat wave! I'm smiling at your outing. That cookie does look very yummy! Bring on the spring thaw!
Who knew...your a poet too!! Diana you always make me laugh out loud!!
Confession ... the clock in my bathroom has finally caught up with daylight savings... I never changed it last year. I know! I can't believe it either. I'm such a rebel! LOL! That blob cookie looks tastey.
Oh, Diana! This post just reminds me how much I've missed you! :) You are the girl with the word!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Love the suspenders...
I love visiting and leaving with a smile :). Fun post!
Well that really IS exciting, isn't it, Diana!! I think your hero may just set a new fashion trend with those suspenders!!
quite the poet Diana. I too love getting a chance to smile when I visit you
Well Top of the Morning to you...what a cute table and I would take one of your "blob" cookies. BTW I think our husbands are related~~a remote surgically in the hand. HaHa.
Oh Diana, I never know what you are going to say next, but I know it will always make me smile! Thanks for the Sunday funny!! Jane
Enjoyed your sweet rhymes Diana! :)
Thanks for the morning smile lady! What a pretty table setting and now I wish I had one of those cookies to go with my morning coffee.
What interesting China! I'll be excited to get the details on that. You know...I need more China
You are so funny! There's always one clock that I forget to set when we have the time change. There's just so many between the house and cars. Anyway, your shamrock cookie looks delicious and your table is so pretty. Enjoy your week!
The minute we hit a hotel room my husband does the same thing! Hope you are seeing a hint or two of spring. It's slowing coming to Ohio thank heavens.
Are all men the same when it comes to a remote control?
Loved your shamrock green cookie and place setting! And your limerick skills are a hoot.... thanks for a great chuckle!!!
