If you didn't read yesterday's post
you should read it now-here.
It tells you about how we
started counseling.
Ready for Session Two?
(internet image)
Couple Number One
NEVER CAME BACK.
That left four couples.
Couple # 2 had BIG PROBLEMS.
Her: HE loves his dog MORE THAN he loves me.
Him: I do not! You blame that poor dog
for everything.
I don't love that dog more
than I love you!
Her: Yes.You.Do.
Counselor/Lila: Okay....here is your assignment for the week.
HIM, I want you to write a letter
to the dog AS IF you
are saying goodbye to Fido.
Now, You
DON'T HAVE TO GET RID OF FIDO,
but this will put it in perspective
for you and HER will know that you are sincere about your feelings for her
(and the dog).
Session Three:
Couselor/Lila: HIM, could you please
read the letter you wrote to Fido?
HIM: Dear HER, I know you won't
understand this but I can't bear
to part with Fido.
HE came back with a
GOODBYE letter to his wife because
he couldn't bear to part with the dog.
(Once again- I started laughing and
could not quit)
They never came back.
Can you stand one final session?
Pop by tomorrow and read the
bitter end.
I am away all day every day this week but will try to play catch up at night when I get home.

OMG that's too funny! Seems as though these counseling sessions are causing an unexpected result! Woof!!
wow... did you guys pay that counselor? lol! my husband always says, "darn, I wish I was that cat!" lol!! looking forward to lesson three!
xoxo
Good Morning Diana, I didn't have a chance to leave you a comment yesterday. It was snowing again and the kids picked me up to go stay with my oldest two grandsons for the day. They cleaned my car and scooped the snow away from it for grandma. I laughed this morning. I can't wait for the bitter end. Have a wonderful day. Many Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.
You should have run from those sessions...seriously bad juju!
A man and his dog!
xx,
Cindy
Sounds like a skit from Saturday Night Live or a country song! LOL!
hugs
Sissie
I think you had a goof therapist. 2 down already? Not a good record. Ok- bring on number 3!
Oh my goodness. These sessions are so fun to hear about. I've never seen a therapist so don't know what the "norm" is at these types of sessions. Doesn't sound like he's having a good success rate though.
OMGoodness, I can't wait for the final session....this is too funny! Hope you have a wonderful day, Gail
It is sounding like this counseling could make you realize how good you really have it, Diana!
Oh, my! Well, I guess that let her know where she (the wife) stood! Wow! She is better off without him!
xo Nellie
Oh, hahaha. Too funny. I didn't see that coming. I can't wait for tomorrow's session.
Viva le chien! lol
Hi There! Thanks for stopping by (& following!) Yes, that would be good to know about the double word verification and the commentor. (how to turn them off) Thanks! I appreciate your help!~TJ
Yes, yes, yes. These are too funny.
A dog is a mans best friend LOL!
xx
Anne
do not come in the way of the love between people and their dog...
My kids always told me I loved the dog more than them...now my daughter has 3 dogs and 2 kids...now, I think THAT is funny!
I wonder what ever happened to that couple? Sounds like the counsellor needed some serious counselling herself!!
After all, dog is man's best friend! Can't wait for tomorrow!
LMHO - can't wait till it's down to just you and John!!!
XXX
This is too funny. Can't wait til tomorrow for "the end".
LOL, that's funny! I could not bear to get rid of my dog either, though. My husband isn't an animal person, but he likes MY dog, just not anyone elses. He tolerates them, but he doesn't really like them. When my son's dogs are here, they leave the room when he comes home and stay away until he leaves for work the next morning.
Reminds me of a Brad Paisley country song. Only it was fishing not a dog!
I'm gonna miss her...
Can't wait for the next session!
Love the way you find humor in everything... ":o) I also like the new look on your blog...have I been away that long? It's very nice. xo geneva
Seriously you did laugh outloud. You are bad.
I can just see you laughing and laughing. I think I would have, too. That man is ridiculously lucky to be alive, I'm sure. ;)
xo, T.
TOO FUNNY!
Shut the front door! He came back with a goodbye letter to his fiance? I bet you {who laughs at everything?} were about to fall on the floor rolling. PLEASE keep the stories coming.
XOXO,
Meredith
Oh my, I am both laughing and shocked at what he wrote...that's simply sad.
Sigh...
Jen
Oh Yes!! Please!! 2 down, 3 to go!! Maybe you and your Mr. will be the winners!! Considering your problem of not taking things seriously is NOT EVEN CLOSE to man dog love!!
xxD
Oh. My. Word. Too too funny! I am rolling on the floor! I cannot imagine!
I know that you have better things to do with your time ????
it seems she was right about the boy and his dog all along
Bahaha!!!! I'm wondering if there is going to be anyone left at the next session.
Laura
I looked back at the last post I missed and you guys are one adorable couple! My so dated a number of girls and I always asked ...OK, you are in a boat with your dog and girlfriend and one has to go over board..It was always the girlfriend, when he met his now wife, he said my dog, I knew she was the one!!
Carol
Oh my goodness! The way people are crazy about their pets these days, I bet that would be a hard choice for lots of people. Can't wait to find out what happened next!
Yep! That would be the letter I'd be writing for sure....and The Husband knows it. lolol! Maizie reigns! hehehe!
xoxo laurie
OMG...that is nuts. I think I'd have to write a letter back to the my husband keep the dog and bubye. :)
Karen
Oh my, now I'm getting scared.
I'm beginning to wonder if there will be any remaining marraiges (except yours) once this couseling class is over!
poor FIDO...nobody loves him :)
Oh my gosh, can you believe these counseling sessions? I read Session One below too. Now, I am going to want to come back and see what the final session was all about hehehe.
~Sheri
Okay I know your a bit crazy...is this a true therapy story or a made up story....could go either way.... but I can picture a man choosing his dog over his wife...
LOL. I am enjoying these sessions. xo
Oh Diana, is this crazy nuts or what. Could be called break up sessions. LOL
Got to see the end.
XO CM
Can you believe that? He chose the dog over his wife? Well, maybe the dog was a better cook Hugs, Leena
:D :D I read the first part the other day and I haven't been able to come and check the rest! That's too funny! I can imagine you laughing and laughing!
