Rocks In Place And Plants Are In!

The Rocker
ROCKS!
Remember when the front
of MamaBoy's & TheSecretAgent's house
looked like this?
You know..
Like last week?
You can see more here
But this is basically what
you saw before.
Now when the boy is on
a ROLL-
this is what happens...
They aren't done yet..
but it is moving along~
They have some bigger plants coming
for along one side.
I suppose you don't want to know
that they paid $5.oo per plant?
$5.00!!
Another view..
that's the Bay off to the far left~
Here's the front today...

Here it is two years ago..
When you walk around to the side
that faces the Bay
this is what you see..
This is what they started with
Hard to believe it is the same place,
isn't it?

Looking from the house towards
the Bay this is the view.
They have lots of cranes in
front of their house..but they are shy..
so I only got a picture of one.
I have to say that I am very
proud of Mama'sBoy AND
my daughter-in-love.
You see it was MY idea that they
look at the house to begin with...
Mama'sBoy was over-the-moon excited.
She was ready to tie me to a tree out
front and shoot arrows at me.
To buy it they had to sell their
darling little house in town that she had
all fixed up and it had multiple
offers the first week on the market..
in a DOWN market.
I told her it was meant to be.
She XBLEEPX( or something like that)..
but, guess what?
She loves me anyway.
I am no longer on
THE LIST!
You know THE LIST!
Yeah- I am OFF THE LIST
because she loves the house
NOW!
Whew!!!!
And, as for MamasBoy?
Well, he is done rocking
and onto his newest
adventure!
And, guess what?
I had NOTHING to do
with THAT purchase!

Mama'sBoy and daughter-in-love did good!! I bet they have raised the value of all the homes on their sreet.

Wow, wow and wow. What a transformation. It is gorgeous. I am sure she has pulled all the arrows out now!! You should link this to my party, girl. Have a wonderful weekend.

It looks great! And it surprises me that you were able to find plants this time of year. Here - if the store has them, they're dried up and dead looking. Maybe the weather there is friendlier than it is here. We've had 85 days in the triple digits, so without lots of water and care everything dies.

How unbelievable Diane. What a major transformation. Such wonderful curb appeal. That is a home I would slow down and say Oh look at this charm!

What a beautiful make over, loving the garden areas. Someone seems to be handier than a shirt pocket, as my dad would say. Smiles, Susie

I am impressed. The plants going in sure made a difference in the front with mulch, but I can't get over the difference in the house. I am so glad you are not on the list anymore.
Good job on finding this and for them sticking with all the reno to get it to here!

That is an amazing transformation. And I will just come out and tell you that I probably would have been on the Daughter-In-Love's side. I wouldn't have touched the house with a ten foot pole. Man, you have great vision.

I love seeing house makeovers... They are often people makeovers also. We learn so much about ourselves.... How strong we really are. How creative.... I am always amazed at the vision that people have. I am in love with the lake house... True story. Glad you are off the "list"!!! She is one lucky daughter in love.... ox
