The Promise

A bright sunny Wisconsin
day.
The sun filters down through
the trees over our patio.
SweetCheeks is visiting.
MamasBoy stops by and
gives his little niece a ride in
his "toy".

The day plays out with
a cookout,
and playing in the playhouse.
MyHero settles in as the day ends
to watch the sun go down.
I think he needs some sunglasses!
It is one of our more
spectacular sunsets.
Staining the sky
with peach and coral hues
And the day dissolves into
night.
The chairs by the water
sit empty.
We sleep knowing that
tomorrow is another day.
And as God promised,
the sun will rise over
this land.
Amen~

Hi Dianna,
I've been following, just now have time to write before going to get my eyes checked. I love your view of the sunset. I could almost feel the relaxation :):) Smiles, Susie

That is one amazing sunset. Can you imagine what heaven will be like? I can't. When I see all the beauty we are blessed with here on earth, I can't begin to imagine how anything can be any more spectacular!
