No Calorie Chocolate Cake

When I saw this recipe on
Cathy's blog- Cobblestone Farms
I thought it
In fact, it looked SO GOOD
that I whipped it up that afternoon.
It made a wonderful little
Valentine's Day treat.
sent me the candle!;>)
The only changes I made to
this recipe was to add
 an extra teaspoon of vanilla
to the cake AND the frosting.
AND~ I, being a bit weird,
poked holes in the top of
the cake so the icing could
drip down inside.
I can't remember how many
years it has been since I
made a Bundt cake.......
a   l-o-n-g   time!
LOOK at that icing!
A maraschino cherry fills each hole.
Pop by Cobblestone Farms blog
for the recipe.
You'll be glad you did.

Ps.  Now, make sure everyone else eats
at least TWO BIG pieces.
Remember my motto:
The fatter THEY look the skinnier YOU look
standing next to them!

  3. Yummy!! And I am sure there is NO calories in this at all!! LOL!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving such a nice comment!! I had been dying to tell that story about the Tea pots for some time now and finally just got around to it....

  4. Oh my gosh this looks amazing! I'm going to have to save this to make later! YUM!

  5. YUM - it must be all the chocolate in the air for Feb. I made brownies this week .

I haven't had or made a bundt cake since the farm, mom loved them. I used to make the marble cakes in the pan, remember when they first came out?

  17. You are such a tease, Diana! I bet the REAL reason you poked the holes in the cake was so you could soak it in rum, right?!! Glad you are enjoying your candle, hope you are burning it:)

  18. Oh my goodness, I am still working off the calories from those caramels...which are amazing by the way.

    Thanks for the recipe.

  19. I can see where that would have no calories, and I may try it the next time we have pot luck at church. I'm a strange bird, I like cake while it is warm, but seldom eat any of it, once it gets cold.

  29. That's a beautiful cake, Diana! Recipe ingredients reminds me of a Texas Sheet Cake. I think I might have to follow you and make one of these cakes real soon. Just as a favor to you so my pants get even tighter ;)

  31. Oh, shoot! It has calories?! :) It looks delicious! I think I'll make it too and the icing sounds so good!

    Shelia :)

I saw your delicious looking no calorie chocolate cake on Crafty Home Cottage's side bar and rushed straight over to check it out.
I though it was too good to be true! :(

  33. Diana, That cake looks so good! So glad it is at your house so you can eat it rather than me(but I couldn't eat it anyway due to gluten). You must know that I do need to get back into shape.
    Hugs today.

  34. I was so excited there for a minute, you story teller you! :)
Cake looks amazing and I love the cherry addition...I'm gonna have to try this. YUMMY!!!

  35. Oh yum! I bet it's worth every single calorie too! How ever could you make something so sinfully good and not eat it? Your willpower is astonishing!

  36. Dang that stuff looks good. I'm going to hop over to Cobblestone Farms.
    Take care.

  37. Oh yum! Funny, you should post this now. I also made a bundt cake this weekend (actually 2) after years of not making any. The family and folks at church liked them so much I may have to do it much more often.

  38. You are quite the "Show off" - if my husband saw this cake he'd leave me for you immediately!! ;-)

  39. Oh my gosh....I can't remember the last time I had a slice (or two) of chocolate cake, Diana. :) Your's looks soooooo good! BUT....not on my diet right now. I've got 4 weeks to lose 20 pounds.

    Like THAT's gonna happen.

    Chocolate hugs to you, sweetie!

    xoxo laurie

  40. Oh...yum! And who wouldn't love chocolate cake!

just what I need right now
    and it looks so yum!

  43. No calories! No way! LOL It looks absolutely delicious! Now, this is a recipe to keep. My son loves chocolate cake. I will have to make him one of this next time he comes home on leave.

  44. Oh my gosh, I want some of this chocolate cake!! Do you know that chocolate cake and cupcakes are my favorite dessert? I wish I had a piece to go with my Starbucks right now. hehe Have a wonderful week, Diana.

  45. WOW Diana, this looks so yummy and I think I gained 5 pounds just looking at the pics.
Thank you for sharing the recipe.
    XO Celestina Marie

  46. Thank you Diana - you are toooo kind! So glad you all enjoyed the cake! Have a happy day! Cathy

  47. Oh Diana - that is to funny - I was reading over the recipe to make sure I typed it all correctly and I noticed the timing on the cake. I never use a bundt cake pan - the one in the picture is just an itty bitty one - I always use a regular cake pan which takes 30 min. I'm sure a big bundt cake pan would take a lot more time - sorry about the confusion! ;-)
