A couple of weeks ago I was in
Barnes & Noble
killing a little time.
I always pull out the Somerset Magazines
because you never know what you will
find in them.
Well,
THIS TIME
I found that my sweet friend, Kris,
has a full feature in there about
HER BLOG!
You'll see some of these pictures-

Sadly, her home doesn't look like this anymore.
Their house is up for sale and she
has "un-chic'ed" it.
So sad!

I asked her if I could do a post about it
and give away a copy of the magazine.

We are true girlfriends
although we have never met in person..

I love her hubby,Terry, too.
He is just THAT GUY...always
helping someone out in some way.
I am gonna lay a big ol' hug on that

I have never seen that magazine before. I visit Kris's blog often and saw her post on being featured. Her home decorating is something magical and beautiful! It is all so very pretty and was so happy to see her get a feature in a magazine!

I hate the way selling a house works. I always wonder who are these stupid people who can't see past the owner's decor and picture their own taste? I was visiting over at Kris's 'place' the other day, and I saw the new staged-for-sale version of her lovely home. Not quite the over-the-top chic-ness that we are used to over there, but still really lovely. I hope her place sells fast, and for a lot of $$$, so she can get to working on her new place .... and we can all follow along.

I have been following Kris's blog for a long time now. I know how hard it is for her to take a lot of things down as I had to strip my house almost naked to sell it!
You know, I used to be in Barnes & Noble all the time. Sadly, the one near me is almost worthless...rarely have a book, rarely will order for you, etc. Anyway, I'm thrilled for Kris!! She is truly a sweetheart and deserves this recognition.

My mother gave me my grandfather's silver flatware. I use it for holiday dinners. And like to polish it. Your silver looks so pretty.

I love Somerset Life. I have to limit myself on those magazines. So I try to stick to that one, Sew Somerset, Somerset Life, Somerset Studio and Memories. Very nice your friends blog was in an issue.
Oh... you would not be happy with my tarnished silver. I do think I need to polish. I will try your method. My friend's mother would be so disgusted with her silver, she would schedule trips to her home so she could polish it for her. Nice lady! Somerset publications have become such a staple in my life. I love Where Women Create Business and Where Women Cook. They are so full of great information. So, throw me in your top hat of names! If I win, I will take the day off and relax and read it, cover to cover.
