Dead Santa And Other Eye Poppers

Ha!  Got your attention
with THAT title,
didn't I?

Well, as I was bumbling
along last night
looking for
decorating ideas.
I came across a

I didn't want to make
you cry too early in
my post
so I am softening the
blow a bit
by showing you
some off-the-wall
what the heck were they thinking
crazy ugly (did I say ugly)
decorating ideas.
How about THIS?
I call this one
Do you suppose this mailbox
is ashamed of itself?
And this one?
This one is
 for all you
I call it
Flamingos In The Snow
Emergency Flight To Florida.

And, speaking of Florida,
if I lived in a condo in Florida,
I just might
never in a flipping million years
wear this outfit when
I stood out on my balcony.

I think this could do dual purpose...
put it up for Halloween and
leave it up for Christmas.
I call this one
Spider On The Roof~
How about this one?
I call this one-
The White Arches..
I'll take 3 carolers to go, please.
And look at this~
A place for everything
and everything in its place.
She's a beaut~
And, last but not least~
Here-as promised is-
Poor, Poor Santa...
Just look at those poor penguins faces~
They look as sad as I feel
leaving you with this
heart-wrenching post~
And as they say at
Have a nice day!
your photo name

Oh, no, no more Santa? What will we do. We have a few of those over the top decorations around here.

AAAhhahahaaaa!!!these pics are as good as the ones I see of the shoppers at Wal-Mart! I guess if you are going to decorate, you might as well go all out!
Those penguins look more guilty, than sad, don't you think??

It can get a little crazy out there! Poor Santa is right!

The snowman did it! He's looking a little too happy. : ) In my old neighborhood I had neighbors who started putting their lights up at Halloween. Which wouldn't be so bad because they did it all up and then collected for charity come Christmas time. But don't turn them on!!!

I guess my town is behind..I haven't seen any over the top decorations here...maybe I am looking in the wrong part of town ?? :))
Have a good Sunday..

Awe, how bright they are.
Don't you just love driving through neighborhoods wondering how long it took them to put up that concoction?

I'll have to steal a photo of Griswald's house, AKA as my son in law. He has well over 10,000 lights up, and he toned back this year, so he says.

Diana, I laughed out loud! Very funny post!
We were just in Ft Lauderdale in a high rise
for a few days, and every night we sat out on
the balcony and watched the Christmas lights go
on the other buildings. I think I saw that woman in the lighted jacket! ha...

Diana, When is too much, too much? I remember as a child our mother drove us by a house that was all lit up like some of these pictures.Oh yes, all of us thought"why can't we have that?" lol Smiles, Susie

Karen said...

Wow Diana,Those are hilarious! we have a few Griswalds in my area, you need sunglasses when you drive by their homes. The only question I can ask is WHY?

Gina said...

LOL! Only you could find a website like this!! Thanks for the laugh!

Donna said...

Ok, Diana, I thought the title of your post was the name of a punk rock band or something! Gotta love those pink flamingos in the snow. And I can totally see you out on your lanai at your Florida condo wearing flashing lights!

Diana I have never seen a sleigh being pulled by a flock of flamingoes! LOL LOL LOL That sure brought a smile to my face. And Santa? I think he's just sleeping. We'll just leave it at that, ok?

Sitting in my craft room laughing to myself! My Sweetie will think I've gone crazy! Too funny! I thought we were going to see a bottle next to Santa, so napping is OK for my thoughts!

Thanks for making my Sunday start out with a chuckle!

Happy Birthday Diana! I hope you have the best day ever!

Cindy directed me over. She was right you are great. Have a happy birthday. Glad for your outside decorating tips. I have nary a light up yet--maybe that is a good thing.

Tete said...

You are so sick! LOL
I could see you plugged in with that jacket on and antlers on your head.
Dead Santa is just nappin' before the big day. If he was dead his light would be out. LOL

"She" told me that this was as close to a visit to Wally World as I would ever get. And purrsonally, I think this is all I want. Ever.

Yes, I think that purrhaps the title of your post did make my eyeballs bigger. I mean, you are talking about my Christmas catnip delivery. You do realize the serious nature of this don't you? Well upon studying the penguins, I am under the belief that purrhaps, Santa had a wee bit too much egg nog and that come morning, he will be fine. I hope. Maybe you should check on him again tomorrow....
