Feeding A Clown

HOW do you feed a clown
you ask?

Well, let me tell you~
First you must find yourself
a clown!
Oh! Look-Look!
Here is one now!
Now THIS CLOWN does NOT
like to eat.
We are SURE that he has been
born into the wrong family.
Seriously!
EVERYONE in THIS family
loves to eat.

This one?
Not so much.
First he must SMELL the food!
Next he must INSPECT THE FOOD-
up close and personal.
Yummmm..
Here you go...
(sorry for the blurry picture-
it is like trying to catch the wind in
motion)
Ummm..this seems to be the most
common response to
REAL FOOD!
Or sometimes he likes to
just hide his eyes like he is not there.
So...You don't want CHEESE..
You don't want mashed potatoes..
What would you like?
Oh~
PLASTIC!
A PLASTIC CAP?
MY that looks good!
Okay- Lunch is over..
Now I can start preparing to
Feed The Clown
at dinner time.

I'm thinking maybe he would like
paper rather than plastic
this time.
Do I get the
Nana-Of-The-Year
award?

LOL! My granddaughter is 16 months old and, for now, the opposite. She eats everything! My daughter will tell me she doesn't eat spaghetti, yet when I'm eating my gluten free spaghetti she wants some and does eat it. If she sees you eating something she not only wants to know what it is but wants some too.

My first granddaughter was like that. She wouldn't even eat cheerios when she was a baby. She still is this way and now her sister is just as bad. It is terrible. He may have sensory issues.....so many do.....they actually have play therapy to address the eating thing.
You'll have to read what Goose said yesterday about the turkey. Will post it soon.....another Sweet Cheeks moment.

aww, he's a cutie, is he a picky eater? He'll probably grow out of it.Our grandaughter is going through stage, she's eating her books, lovely right,

Isn't it strange what they change to, once they start trying to feed themselves. Great eaters turn to paper and plastic.

Yes, Nanna, you win the award. A big "E" for
effort! My little Grand son only eats PBJ's, oatmeal, macroni and cheese and cold cereal!
So don't feel too bad.

His little sweater is so precious. He looks like a little man in a high chair. My kids were picky eaters so I just put a toothpick in everything and they thought it was more fun and ate it. (A little known secret about feeding children.) Try it, he'll like it!

He is totally adorable!! It's rare that a little boy doesn't care to eat although little ones always go through that stage don't they?
Good luck! One of these days you won't be able to fill him up.
