POSING FOR PICTURES

We love being outside
just as the sun is getting ready to set.

I call out to the kids that
I will take their picutres.
Lulu pays no mind and
heads right into the water.

SweetCheeks follows
Lulu's lead.

Ria, however, decides to
POSE for a picture.

Hey! SweetCheeks calls.
I wahnna pose too.
Do I do it lihke this, Ria?

Yep!  Just like that.
Okay..I gonna go up on
the grass and pose up there.
Okay, Nana?
Okay, SweetCheeks!
Hohw's this?

uhhhh...
No answer...
Ummm..SweetCheeks..
How about I take another one.
Noooo~thiss is stooopid
I gonna go play in the sand.

Okay..
I think it is time for a family
picture.
Just so you remember being
at Nana & Papa's house
on a summer night.
Wait till my son-in-law sees that he
has a piece of hair standing straight up
on his head-he is fussy about his hair.
Sorry~At least you don't have a comb-over.
Just in time.
There is just enough light.
Turn around, girls..
Quick..quick..
There it goes~

Happy Night~
Can you come back tomorrow?

I'm waiting about 10 years for Sweet Cheeks to do that pose again.

I think I'm coming to visit next summer. Just clean out the playhouse and give me a call. I'll enjoy the sunrises and sunsets from there.

Adorable..that sweet cheeks sure likes the camera! So funny about your son and law and his "dennis the menace" look..haha. Photoshop to the rescue!

Ria has the Paris Hilton pose down! What a gorgeous sunset. So much better than my view of it setting over the old corn field.

Beutiful sunset! That's something you rarely see when you live in a neighborhood. Yeah... it goes down, but it goes down on rooftops rather than a beautiful landscape.

What fun. Wish our pond had a beach. Not sure the snakes would like it though.

Diana, it looks just gorgeous where you are; does it get very warm? Just catching up on your last few posts also; what a gorgeous wedding, and a stunning couple!!! And how lucky to have your hero to marry them both!! The wedding looked beautiful.. we had aqua dresses at my brothers wedding, but not quite as nice as that!! Going to check out your friends blog now that you mentioned in your last post!! Have a very lovely day my friend!! Laura xxx

I love how Ria has the toe point thing down pat! That is too funny! And I bet your SIL is not going to be very happy with you:) Gorgeous sunset, looks like the end of a wonderful day!

Love all the poses by the girls - such models. Too funny about the Alfalfa hair on your SIL -he might be willing to buy that photo from you. Negotiating could be definitely in your favor! *wink

Those girls are so darned cute! Look at them having the best summer a girl could want. How are the tennis lessons going?
Love your sunset...oh, I could sit there all night on a full moon and watch the water dance...
As soon as I win the lottery, I'm heading your way.

Sweet photos Diana!
I wish we had that warm weather for a night at the beach. It's only been in the high 70's here!!

Now just where did these cuties learn to strike a pose anyway? I'm guessing Grandma taught them?
