A SPECIAL PRAYER REQUEST FOR JETTIE'S SURGERY

GOOD MORNING!
If it weren't for Jettie
I would have never started blogging!
She has been an encourager
on so many levels.
I hope this prayer request
is some small token
of repayment for her friendship
and help over the years.

Jettie has had several surgeries
in the last few years.
After this last hip surgery failed
she has been in a tremendous amount of pain
for a couple of years!

She has had to use a cane,
a walker and a wheelchair.
Tomorrow she will have
 a surgery to fix
the damage that occured
after the last surgery.

Please say a prayer for her.
Pray for a safe surgery
 and pray that this surgery
WILL END HER PAIN.

For those of us that have experienced
long term pain,
we know that you can sometimes feel
helpless and hopeless.

This surgery is offering her
HOPE.

I you are not a pray-er,
please wing up some healing thoughts
and good wishes.

Thanks so much!
I will let you all know how the surgery went
later this week.

ps- I am not gonna tell you how old
she is because
you wouldn't believe me anyway.
She has that 'baby face'
BUT
trust me-
she is part of the
"old as dirt"
group that I belong to....
and if you tell her I said that
I will deny it vehemently!

So---I am off for a class this morning-
and will check back later today.

Have a wonderful Tuesday!

I want to thank everyone for the prayers, And yes, Diana, I'm older than dirt, by about 3 weeks I think it is, you are the dirt. My daughters used to tell that I was so old that I decorated dinasours for Christmas Trees. I'll have Diana post an update as soon as I am able to get in touch after surgery. I trust my surgeon, and I know he will do whatever it takes to get me going.

Prayed for a successful outcome - chronic pain like that is so hard to deal with, especially when it keeps you from doing the things you enjoy.
