The Farmers Market

Well, I sure hope
you didn't stop by to see
pictures of fresh fruits
or vegetables-
or even flowers,
for that matter.

I sure hope not
cuz you won't see them here.

I like to see other things
at the
Farmers Market

Like things that lean..

And things that jump...

And things that sell cold things..

And things that eat cold things...

But the funniest thing I see
is a guy with a 45 pound monkey
on his back.

Okay-quit your whining..
Here is ONE picture to
whet your appetite...
I could say something like-
Isn't this picture just
But I won't...cuz
then you will want to
squash me.
Okay-I quit~
your photo name

  9. Oh Diana Sweetie...
You just BEET all I have ever seen. And to think you LETTUCE join in and follow along as well. I haven't BEAN to our Farmer's Market this Summer, but have sure wanted to. It's in the middle of downtown for us, a ways to drive for me.

Love seeing the girls. So cute sweet friend. Thank you for making me smile this beautiful Friday morning. Hope you have a gorgeous weekend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

  10. I'm headed out to our farmers market this morning, but I bet there won't be cute leaning, jumping, cold thing eating monkeys at mine.
    Now i'm jealous!

  11. Lettuce begin by saying how adorable those photos are, or do you carrot all about my opinion? (Gee, this was fun!)

  12. If I look at pictures of vegtables does that count as eating my vegtables for the day?

    :) Danielle

  13. You are so much fun!! I can't even think of anything clever to write, so I'll just enjoy your post.
many hugs and blessings to you!

  14. Just to share with you folks, i have a new post today on Amish Stories from the Terre Hill days even that was just held in Lancaster Pennsylvania. It was a very hot day but i was able to get i think a few good images from this event. The town is populated with a mix of Amish and old order Mennonites which only adds to its charm. They even have what has become famous in Terre Hill their "outhouse race". The town sits on a hill so it overlooks Lancaster farmland in almost all directions. This is one of my favorite towns to visit because its free from commercialism, so if you are looking for a really all American kind of town with the added bonus of seeing its Amish and Mennonite residents at work and play, then this town is for you. Thanks folks. Richard from Amish Stories.

  15. You have such a great sense of humor!
The sweet pumpkins are a far better feast for the eyes than any veggies you could photograph.
Looks like you're having great fun!

  16. Funny because I posted a Farmers Market earlier today on my blog, and all pictures
were of vegtables, flowers... no humans...ha
Yours is SO much nicer! Thank you for sharing
    your trip!

    Flora Doora

  17. YOU are something else, Diana! You always make me smile, giggle, laugh, and usually wet my pants. lolol! LUV YOU SOOOO!

    xoxo laurie

  18. Vegetables?! Why would anyone take a picture of a nasty old vegetable when you have so many other wonderful things to photograph!! Vegetables. Hmpfh. I can't even think of a vegetable pun to beet what the other ladies posted....

  19. You need squashed! Oh, that was so bad, girl. Love that 45 pound monkey. They all look like little monkeys hopping around. So, how much did the ice cream truck cost dear old dad? When I was a kid, their stuff was a quarter...haven't seen one of those in a long, long time. Look at all the choices!
Only you would go to a farmer's market and post photos of ice cream...just need to focus.
    Hugs- Tete
