PLEASE PRAY FOR JACOB

My post for today was
going to be about
painting
the rusty grate....
but something more
important has come up.

has been keeping me updated
 about this family and
I have been kind of watching
 in the background
but I really feel
called to  ask for you
to pray.

has a child that is in
desperate need of prayer.
This is from her blog:
Been at the hospital all day, just home at 8:30.  They took Jacob in about 9:30 this morning and brought him back around 3:00.  they ended up having to put him on the ecmo machine,  (heart lung by pass machine).  Jacob was missing the whole left side of his diaphragm and everything was up in his chest cavity.  his organs were blue meaning they were not getting enough oxygen.  they had to create a piece for the part of the diaphragm that was missing.  his lung on the left side is the size of a chicken nugget.  He would not survive with out the ecmo machine.  he has a 40 % chance now. just keep praying..
I'm sorry to keep asking for prayers.. but I have too.  He needs them...
come on God.. please
My heart aches for this
family.
You can pop over here
to read more.
He had surgery yesterday.
He has a 40% chance of surviving...
but
HE HAS A CHANCE...
Maybe if we all send a prayer
up to God
He will hear our prayers.

  5. Praying for him, Diana. I've visited like you asked. As we came close to losing both of ours, for completely different reasons, I can understand a little of what this family are going through. I was very saddened to learn you had lost a grandchild.

  7. Viv and I have gotten to be good friends over the last year. As soon as she shared her grandson's condition a few months ago, I've been praying. When our daughter went through multiple surgeries it was so helpful knowing that I had a circle of friends/family praying for her recovery.

  16. Hello Diana, will certainly pray and ask others to do as well. They can do some amazing things with these newborns now - my mom used to work in a NiCU for several years - there have been some miracles to occur. I appreciate you for sharing,

  53. Dear Lord,
    Right now I pray.
    Gracious Father
Give me wisdom to perceive thee
To understand what I ought to pray over this darling child.
    To seek thee and wait.

Through your power of the Spirit Of
    Jesus Christ My lord.

Our Father Who Art In Heaven.
Everything we ask is in your Will.

Thanks for the prayer request Nana.
