the message remains the same.

Happy Memorial Day ! We remember and will not forget the reason we can celebrate our freedom!
It is isn't it. Our town normally has a parade and ceremony honoring the vets who've died and it's all been cancelled :( . We're having a low key picnic at home just the 3 of us.
I am thinking that every single day and every holiday in the year 2020 will be the strangest ever.
It is different, but the message of the day remains the same. I am so grateful to those who gave their lives for us.
I thank God my brothers, uncles, cousins and nephews returned safely. But honor and dearly appreciate the ones who gave all. God bless those families as they remember. We appreciate deeply and support the dedication and love for their fellows and country. WE owe them so much.
Happy Memorial Day !
Mmmmmm, what is the long comment, with a "million" click-able links in it??????????????????
Yes, the Message remains the same.
Happy Memorial Day

Just stopping buy to say hello and wish you a nice Memorial Day. Thanks to all our service people! Sandie♥
Happy Memorial day
I hope you have a lovely day!
Dear Friend,
You can say that again, the strangest. Our family has not missed a Memorial Day service in our years of having the boys. Very strange today as there were no services in our local area.
God Bless and yes the message stays the same.

Doesn't everything seem strange this year and we are almost at 6 months. The good thing, it has given many a time to reflect on what's really important in life and death. The Gospel is being preached like never before via live stream and Face Book for goodness sake. Yes, liberal facebook. So praise God from whom all blessing come. Wishing you a blessed day, and looking forward to your new home pictures.
Six feet apart? HA! I say aim for 10 feet!!
If people see my hair and my face with no makeup, they might stay 20 feet away! Hey, they might even RUN! :-)
Happy Memorial Day.
xoxoxo

Love & hugs to you! Yes, strangest ever.
Diana, I am absolutely going to be safe. I did not stay in this long to jump the gun. No cook-out for us this year. Take care, tell all hello. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
Hope your Memorial Day was a good one, albeit very different. With all that has been going on, I had lost track of time until all the TV ads were advertising Memorial Day sales. First time since WWII that the Indianapolis 500 was not run. Take care, hugs and prayers for you both. xoxo
Have a blessed Memorial Day.
I hear you, my friend. I hope you and your family managed to do it up your own way. We will always remember these times as well as the bravery of those before us. A good lesson.
Jane 😘
We are blessed to live in the land of the free, regardless of what is going on around us, we are still much freer than most of our counterparts around the world. So I praise God for that blessing, and thank Him for the sacrifices of so many who died to give us these freedoms. May we never forget or let our freedoms go away.
Distance is the new norm. I spent the day doing things around the house! Enjoy today dear friend, HUGS!
Strangest one I can recall too. Hope there's not another like it dealing with a pandemic.

Crazy, I was thinking about you today and jumped over to your blog. Girl...things are a bit crazed for sure. I am sure counting my blessings and more and more these days. So happy we can blog with a few friends. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Love to you too, Diana. It was a very quiet Memorial Day around here. They are starting to open up here and it is a scary sight to me. Hardly anyone wearing masks and standing close together, even moms and their little kids. It makes me sick to see it and I won't be going anyplace that isn't essential..Stay well..xxoJudy
I hope your day was lovely. Yes, the message is the same.
I never forget. In fact I found a quote by FDR that made me even more passionate about our veterans, our military, our loved ones all who gave their all. I noticed through my bedroom window my backyard flag is tangled so off I go to fix it. I fly that flag proudly in both my front and backyards. HUGS to you.
I lost an uncle at Pearl Harbor. He died before I was born, but I have a picture of him on my desk.
We owe these people a debt that we can never repay.
The message is important, I hope you had a Happy Memorial Day
All the best Jan
