MY HERO---OFF FOR HIS ONE YEAR CANCER CHECK UP THIS MORNING

I have some
KID NEWS
for you later--
BUT--
This morning
My Hero is off
to have
his throat scoped
for his
ONE YEAR
CANCER FREE CHECK-UP.
Imagine how
EXCITED HE IS
to have
THIS POKED DOWN HIS THROAT.

OKAY-
He is
NOT TOO EXCITED
about that part.

I sit quietly in the chair
and crack jokes to make
DR. CHARLIE PAN
laugh while he is
doing the procedure.
Guess what?
Sometimes he has to
STOP PROBING
because he is
LAUGHING.

I may be banned to the waiting room
one of these days.

BE BACK LATER!
That's a threat promise!

Praying that you'll behave yourself. Does John ever insist that you wait in the anteroom? Ha! Praying and trusting for an excellent report.

Praying all goes well. My girl is all too familiar with the scope as she spent her last semester scoping patients. But, she does know how it feels...they had to scope themselves and fellow students. She is the queen at it, I tell ya. Only child I know who would volunteer to let others who are inexperienced give it a go on her :-0

Good morning Diana..
I'll be praying that everything goes smoothly and that your hero will again be given a good report. That's so funny about the Doctor laughing. I'm sure your wonderful sense of humour has made a difference on this difficult journey. I hope you have a lovely week <3

Lol! You know I work for ENT docs! ( . . . and your poor hero trying not to laugh with that scope down his throat!) Thoughts, prayers and LAUGHTER are a perfect healing trilogy!
My best to John and all!

Praying all goes well and nothing is found that is upsetting. I'm giggling at the doctor laughing and John wanting to strangle you.

Oh you know how I feel about scopes - please tell me they freeze him or medicate him in some way. I know this is a necessary evil, but my heart goes out to him. I'm looking forward to hearing the all clear. -Jenn

Hope all goes well. My hubby had his annual endoscopy earlier this month; he tried it only once without anaesthetic. Must be that I'm not as entertaining as you!

I hope he is put to sleep for that procedure... just looking at it stresses me out... I'm not a fan of doctor's and procedures at all!! LOL He is in my prayers that there is only good news that comes from that being put down his throat! He's so lucky to have you :-)

Blessings,
Jill

Well, I hope your jokes didn't endanger someone's throats while it was being scoped. Ugh, I would gag and gag if that was put down my throat. Hope all went well!

I can't imagine having that thing stuck down my throat unless I was put under. It's like the stuff of nightmares! I'm afraid someone would have to drag me kicking and screaming into the room. Well, I hope and pray John got good news today. Blessings to both of you!
