Final Staging Pictures Of Tom & Ruth's House

Finally!
The first floor is all done
except for the master bedroom!
The attic is emptied!
The house is on the market!
Here is a quick recap of what we did.
This is the outside entry to the house.
We added the lions (which Ruth had)
the plants and the bistro table and chairs.
Entering the house there is a small table
and there is the hall leading to the living room
Small table sits to the left inside entry door.
Living room.
The sofa sits was in front of the windows
but was moved to the wall where the TV rested.
The dining room staged to sell
The kitchen
The color of the walls is as seen
above the BREAD tin.
The family room
Girls room
Wallpaper is from Victoria Magazine
and the bedding is
Rachel Ashwell's Shabby Chic
Bed moved from left wall to back wall.
Closet (w/garden door)
is now to the left of the bed.
Boys room
Backyard
Okay-That's it for now.
I'll do some final pictures when the master bedroom
is finished.
It has been a lot of work but a lot of fun
talking over old times as we worked.
Lots of laughter and a few tears when
I realize that when the house sells they
will down South for good.
Ha!  I know how to drive!
They are not gonna see the last of ME by moving!

It's looking GREAT, Diana- all your effort shows beautifully...and I hope and pray it sells quickly for them.

You are a tried and true friend, indeed to them - and I know you will all miss each other very much.

Hugs.

It's looking good, Diana! You all put a lot of work into getting the house ready, as well as going through all their things. Hopefully, they will have a quick sale so they can move onto this next phase of their lives.

You've done a great job- and what a good friend you are for helping with all of this. They have a very nice home and so many wonderful furnishings. I want those two chests holding the tv! I hope the home sells easily, even though you'll miss them.

Diana... if I were them, I would change my mind about moving and stay in my new gorgeous home!!

Oh, Diana, I cannot believe how much you all have accomplished! This was SO much work. What strikes me is how much more welcoming and beautiful the house looks with the new pared down décor and staging. Too bad we never notice this until it's time to look at our houses with another person's eyes, huh?

You have done a lovely job Diana! Everything looks so nice, I am sure that the house will sell quickly.

A lot of hard work, but well worth the effort. They have so many beautiful things to use in the staging.

Oh you are a true friend. It all looks so beautiful!

Well done.

My son when he sold his first home he decorated it beautiful too but it never sold that fast.

Second home the realtor told him dont paint rooms.

Not everyone likes your choice and when they want to buy then they think twice to go to the expense to do theirs if you have painted it or decorated.

So he left second house and it sold in one week.

People become real fuss pots. They dont like the counter tops they like granit or kitchen cupboard bot the color or the wood grain. No rugs in the bedrooms or wood floors not lamanated but not light but dark. The closets , not enough space.

The only thing the realtor said. Take out most of furniture and no clutter to a med so the people who are looking to buy have an idea how their furniture will fit.

I mean this home is lovely you show but realtors can be so finicky.

I am sure the relator is pleased what you have done.

I remember my Grandson when they sold the house. He said to his parents like Sweet cheeks would of said. Can I let my room be messy now.

I'm sure you've been told during this process that you would have a great career doing this. H&G network, get ready for Diana! I think that people who aren't happy with their house and are thinking about selling would be perfect clients for this.

But then you wouldn't have much time to blog!

Such a beautiful job, inside and out!
