Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

It is early morning hours here.
Yes-I am still up.
The Fourth is over and I have
washed the last dish and
sealed the last of the leftovers
and stored them.

Everyone has gone home except
for the three little granddaughters
sleeping upstairs.
 MyHero got called in for
an emergency and the house
is quiet except for the
soft little lip smackings
coming from SweetCheeks.

I thought I would check my email
before I went to bed and saw that
many of you prayed for Kurt
and many of you visited
Kurt's blog yesterday.

I don't know if I am overtired,
or overly emotional
but by about the 5th comment
on Kurt's blog I was
bawling like a baby.
I know you have said prayers
for people here before
but the words you left Kurt
were amazing!
I hope he was able to read
every one of them yesterday.

My heart is overflowing with
love for all of you.
Where else in the world would
there be such an outpouring of
love and concern and caring
for a man that you have never met?

What a blessing you are-
to Kurt- to me- to each other.
Can you BELIEVE this blogging
community?
I am in awe!
I don't know what else to say-
except
THANK YOU!

oh- and I saved you a S'more.

I hope you have a wonderful day
and I'll be around with a REAL POST later-

It's not hard to pray for someone. And it's not hard to tell someone how much they are appreciated. We appreciate you as well as Kurt.

I read his blog a little bit...it's heartbreaking! So sad all that he has had to go through. I'll pass on the s'more I'm so carbo-loaded from last night my belly feels like a hard watermelon.

I'll be praying for Kurt as I think about it throughout the day. I didn't check any blogs yesterday, so I am just now seeing the post. Hope you had a happy 4th.

Hi Diana,

I did not get on my blog yesterday so I did not know about Kurt until just now. I will definitely be praying - what an amazing man! And thanks for the S'more :)

Hugs to you!

Diana,
You are the angel for bringing Kurt to us that did not know him. Veterans give so much up to keep us free. It was heart wrenching to see that Kurt is struggling with health issues. I will continue to pray for him that his health will get better. God Bless Kurt and others like him for sacrificing so much for us.

You are probably the most supportive blogger on the planet--all you have to do is ask, and you have our support in return! We love you!

I agree that you are the most supportive blogger out there! What led me to your blog? I would see your encouraging comments on so many other blogs and wanted to find out who this great woman was. I'm so glad I did!

I came over to catch up on your posts. I have been away.
Your porch looks wonderful...wish I could sit with you, and visit, Diana...I could use some of your sick humor right about now.
Prayed for Kurt.
Licked the screen.
Thanking God that you are my sister in Christ.
Love you Sweet lady.

Trying to catch up on here. I went to Kurt's blog and left a message and said a prayer for him. I feel so bad for those wounded warriors. They sacrificed so much for us. God bless you my friend. I can't eat that smore anyway because of the gluten.
