Sweet Cheeks Sells Cookies & Ice Cream

Our SweetCheeks' Daddy
is an industrious guy.
He's pretty easy on the eyes, too,
isn't he, ladies?
That's my handsome
son-in-love, Big Al,
married to our daughter, TPot.
He is always planning something
or building something.
He can make
a silk purse out of a sow's ear
(that's an old saying for the
kids in the group-yes, yes, old like me)
So.....
What did he come up with when he had
an old trailer base that wasn't being used?
Well, he made a business out of it.
What kind of business?
I can only give you a sneak preview.
Ready?  Shhhhhh...This is NOT
out in the public eye yet.
Here's the front.
The sign will say
THREE SISTERS COOKIE COMPANY
It's a little house on wheels.
It is all set up for selling cookies
and ice cream at the farmers' markets
and small fairs and carnivals.
It is still in the warehouse being finished up
but I wanted to share it.
Here is a side view.
A close up of the side windows
Inside is a tin ceiling...

A professional oven which will be used
if they run short during the day.
Guess what I get to do?
I get to make aprons and curtains
out of fabrics similar to these
I found all these sweet apron patterns
and images on Etsy.
Cute idea, huh?
Imagine SweetCheeks selling cookies.
I hope she doesn't give someone the eye
and tell them they are
TOO FAT
and don't need to buy cookies.
WHY wouldn't that surprise me?

I'll show you more when it is all set up
and ready to go!

Boy that guy is so talented-what a perfect idea for the girls. That trailer is so sweet and just reminds me of the girls-will be interesting
to see Sweet Cheeks at the window in her pretty apron handing out truisms with each cookie. ;-)

Isn't there child labor laws up there??? LOL Yeah, Sweetcheeks front and center might not be a good idea. Maybe they could make her the dish washer...
Love the aprons, but love, love, love the bottom left ones. I love the wrap around and the girls would look so cute. What about hats? You know they have to wear hats.

A very clever idea, and I have the feeling that this is going to take off.

Oh what a cute idea. I hope they make a fortune. You might should tell Sweetcheeks that if she mentions the word fat, people won'b buy cookies, and she won't get any money. Tell her to say the calories have been baked out of these

How fun and exciting, Diana! I bet the girls are beside themselves with excitement! What a cute trailer (and a cute Daddy, too!). The tin ceiling is awesome! If I lived closer, I would buy a car load full! They will be a big hit, for sure:) And the aprons are going to be too darn cute!!!

PS: I can see SweetCheeks selling franchises in the near future:)

Well, they are going to make a ton of money, just because of the cute-ness of it all. The trailer & the folks inside. How very enterprising. I have always thought that, that would be a fun thing to do. And even considered it for a bit... but then I would have to work the fair & the market & not enjoy it, or shop... & work weekends... (don't tell them that : )
Good luck on the fun adventure, what a fun thing to do as a family, & I am sure that you will share some pics of it all... : )

Diana, this is a great business and what makes it right off the bat great is how cute it is. That's what draws you in, you already think they must be great, of course when taste is up there with cuteness what more can you ask for? I would be right in line for my icecream cookie if I were closer, and so wish someone would create a cottage industry business like this for our farmers market.

Yes your son is already a hit, looks in the hot handsome man market, and a cute chic cottage business those 3 sisters are so fortunate to have a dad who loves them enough to make this so much fun for them.

By the way, my friend has 3 small daughters and was in the process of opening a new store and needed a shop name here in Ca. Up in Crestline and I told her to name it 3 sisters for her girls, we are painting there 3 small bikes all white and hanging them out on the building in a row as if they are at play. That's what a fun business is all about having fun and playing.

Diana I am sure you will be posting future photos with the lines a mile long waiting for there I icecream treat yummy!

Blessings to you and your families new journey, may The Lord care for them and provide.

WOW, this is really beautiful, cute, it made me smile. I would buy from that building with that handsome guy in it. I love the aprons too..what a wonderful idea, this will be very special. It already is. I have been absent so much from blogging, I will go look at the posts I have missed. I seem to be into projects that take me away from the computer. I am sure Arney is tired of seeing the top of my head as I knit. Big Hugs, Mary

I love this and at the same time I'm ridiculously sad that I live too far away to be a patron of the Three Sisters Cookie Company.
Oh, this has enough potential to keep you in stories for years. LOL
Your SIL is awesome!!! And handsome, of course! What a fun dad he is.

How cute!!!! :D I want dessert now! Cookies and ice cream are a match made in heaven....

Merlesworld said...

What a great looking wagon should attract many people and that's half the battle, selling cookies should be easy seeing a good looking fellow will help too but being told you are too fat and shouldn't be eating cookies could dampen it down a bit.

Now that's a real man right there! One that isn't afraid to go all out with something like this for his daughter. Real men do things like this to please the women in their life. :) It is so cute! And that roof! Why is the ceiling on this trailer nicer than the one in my home?

Also, I love that you checked your own word verification! Ha! I don't know why that tickled me, but it did. Hey, being thorough matters, right?

XOXO,
Meredith
