telling a lie when I said I would be back,
didn't you?
You thought I was going to go away
permanently.
You were WRONG!
I am like the proverbial
'bad penny'
that just keeps turning up.

Soon I will share what
I have been up to--
but today I though it would be fun
to start off with a
PICK YOUR FAVORITE!

Well..For it me has to be....
TABLE ONE....
~~GREAT BALLS OF FLOWERS~~

Reminds me...
Great Balls of Flowers is contemporary American
literature in the tradition of Whitman and
Ted Berrigan, the Beats and Frank O'Hara.....!

Is that it...??? HeHe!
I put a joke on R's Post this morning...
"What did the bra say to the hat"?
"You go on a head, l'll give these two a lift". :).

I choose #4. I like it because it is the least cluttered looking of all of them. I might put my elbows on the table and knock stuff off all the others.

How fun Diana...I would choose to sit at Table 2...white on white...letting the food be the star of the table!

Gay Van Beek, Canterbury Cottage Designs said...

YAY! I absolutely adore the faded pastels table. The rose plates won me over! (But I'd appreciate a glass of wine from the wine table, thank you!) Love you always.

I tried to ring in early but I see the tables are already getting filled.!

Oh I'm so happy your cheery and pretty self is back with us.
While I love all your choices I prefer the all white #2, specially because of the beautiful shape of the plates. The flowers are simply gorgeous too.
Lots of inspiration here. I will pin this post.
Thanks for sharing. Hope all is great with you dear friend.
My mom is a lot better and I have good hired help, so it's a relief for me. Plus I'm going to be a grandma again from daughter Alexandra, who's got 3 year old Maxima and now she'll have a little sister, she is so lucky.
Big hugs,
Fabby

Table two for me please. No smart remarks on it, just a quick choice.

BeachGypsy said...

They are ALL SO PRETTY!, but it's an easy choice for me this time!!--on table Number One, it looks to have a big white fluffy COCONUT CAKE, and I'm not going to pass that by, no sireeBob!! ha ha LOL Not sure who else will be at that table, but hopefully some old friends, and let's make some new friends too. As always, I'll be toting along my trusty crystal ball, hopefully I don't drop it and break anybody's toe, LOL!! I usually bring along a few jugs of SWEET TEA!--this time I'm going to do something different and bring ice cold lemonade. I adore coconut cake, and I'll bring along some of that divine carribean coconut gelato stuff to serve with it. I just discovered that stuff this past winter and oh my, it's SO YUMMY. I have glow in the dark necklaces and bracelets for everyone for after the sun goes down, and twenty five dozen sets of sparklers so we can light 'em up and swoooooosh and pop and fizzle, just like when we were little kids. Can someone please bring a lighter? LOL
