FRIDAY-THIS & THAT- HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE OLD BOY (FORMERLY MY HERO)

There are lots of birthdays

and lots of days to celebrate

in July for our family.

However----
Today is
Hubby's  Birthday!
Yep!
I let him live another year!

TODAY he hits the
BIG 76!!!
Dat be soooo old

This was taken a few years ago
before cancer exacted its toll.
Today he is still dealing with some health issues.

So far, they have ruled out
just about everything.
We have seen several specialists and
been at Mayo for a week's worth of tests.
No real answers.

ANYWAY-------

Happy Birthday, My Hero-
I love you
like 99% of the time-
the rest of the time?
Well, we just won't talk about that
now, will we?

Wait till he sees the
SURPRISE I have in
store for the Old Boy!
-yeah-baby-

It's COOL-
That's a hint....
It may or may not be this....

We are in a place this weekend
where we have very
LIMITED PHONE SERVICE
and
NO INTERNET

so bear with me
as I try to answer any comments
or make visits.

Have a wonderful weekend
AND
Be Good.
If
YOU ARE GOOD
that kind of allows me to
BE BAD.

Another little surprise coming up
as soon as I am allowed to
post it.
You will die  smile!

That's frustrating getting all those tests without any real answers.

Happy, Happy Birthday John!! It's amazing how you go to the best places, get tests done and no answers. Hang in there.

Happy Birthday John! You are precious to all of us and I pray that you will feel better soon and get answers from the doctors! Take care! Lots of hugs to you both. Wish I was there to pitch in and help you with that HUGE project you have undertaken. You amaze me and inspire me Diana! Hugs, Diane

Golly GOSH!! What I wouldn't have done for that monster several years ago! I love to see things getting clean.
It's lovely to see a face for your sweet hero---silver hair and a sweet smile every morning---meeting the sunrise with that dear man must be a joy of your life.

You're hinting mighty naughty lately, not like a woman with a whole summer's reno on her hands, so we're waiting. Just that darling cottage would be enough.

Sending many happy birthday wishes. I'm hoping you're at your cottage working (and not too badly affected by smoke!)

Happy 76th birthday John! I am right behind you in September! We 1950's babies are pretty special, if I do say so myself! Praying the tests will give you some answers that are helpful. Oh, that little cottage looks wonderful! I'd love to be in a place like that with or witihout the internet! Sometimes a break away from this thing is the best gift of all! Diana, I loved your comment on my post about the letters from your father during war time. What a treasure trove they are! And I love the part about giving his love to Molly the horse. LOL. Those are really special memories to have. Take care you two, and enjoy the birthday celebration.
