CUTENESS Might Be The Cure!

Even in the midst of illness
there are many things
to make us smile.

Our youngest granddaughter
is such a
BRIGHT SPOT
in our lives.

We had a special event the
first week in January
that I will share a bit later.

Little Miss
BRIGHT EYES
was dressed for the occasion.
The photographer
 said our little
Anna Ireland (Bright Eyes)
got on the "stage"
with no prompting
and proceeded to ham it up.
Here are just a few of the many pictures
she took.

HERE I COME!
TAH-DAH!
What? What?
Sure I can dance!
What? What?
You want to see me
SPIN?
Okay- Here I go!
HEY!  Even the
BEST DANCERS
fall down sometimes.
Just ask my Nana-
She's fallen on her butt
a few times but you won't
be seeing any pictures of that here!

Okay- That's all the cuteness
I can pack into one post!

We have a long day yesterday.
We were at the cancer center for about
SEVEN HOURS-
Chemo, radiation, Dr. appointments
and assessments.

Thinking of this cute little face
kept us smiling all day!
Hope YOU ALL have a great week
with lots of smiles thrown in for good measure!

She is beyond precious! I adore her old fashioned outfit. She looks like someone from years ago (like you would see in black and white photos). If you would look at her in pictures in the future you wouldn't know what era she was from because it's classic. Wow---what a little doll. Her knee socks and shoes had me smiling from ear to ear. What a charming outfit. You have every reason to be chuffed and sharing with us.

I pray all is going well with you and your sweetheart. I remember the days of chemo---four hours. I packed a large tote with sandwiches, goodies, water bottles, the newspapers, our Nooks and anything else I thought would help pass the time. He mostly slept but I, too, managed to learn how to sleep upright in a hard chair---no sympathy here, you learn to do what you have to do. I'm not sure what your set up is at your clonic/hospital. At one point at the end of my husbands chemo, his oncologist asked for his opinion as to how to make changes in the area, they had gotten a grant. He asked for a little more privacy...curtains, small cubicles during the chemo. There were people in dire straits and others just hoping to get well in a few weeks. It was all very confusing and intimidating. i have no way of knowing if Northwestern has implemented any of my husband's suggestions. How do you feel about that?

Love and prayers as always, dear.
