Blue Creek Home IMPORTANT NEWS
Hi Everyone.

Here is the letter from Rhonda.

Hi, it's Rhonda from Blue Creek Home. Some of you may have heard that I lost my blog over the weekend. Thankfully, I had started it at blogspot.com before I purchased the domain and changed it to .com. This allowed me to continue to access the blog at the blogspot address with all of the contents intact. The problem is that any links you guys have do not come to me now and most of my internal links are broken.

The man who bought my domain (fair and square, I might add) has set up house at my old blog address (bluecreekhome.com) For the first few days when you visited, you were redirected to GoDadddy. Today, he suddenly has six or seven posts - a new header - some talk about interior design and decorating, and google ads. Please if you go over, don't click on anything. I don't want this guy to make a cent from my friends!

Find me at bluecreekhome.blogspot.com for now and please change your link address to the new blogspot address if you have my button or follow me or saved me saved to favorites/bookmark.

This has taken the wind out of my sails. I am trying to decide if it's time for a break so that I can focus 100% on little Mason and family. I will keep y'all updated.

A few of my best blog friends have offered to post this on their blog for me and I appreciate you guys. Anyone else, please feel free to copy this and post it for me -I want to keep this man from getting my traffic!
And, a word of warning to those who may own their domains - don't let it expire!!! Domain squatters are waiting like vultures in the wings to buy it. One thing I WILL NOT DO is try to buy it back from him.
I sincerely appreciate each one of you,
Rhonda

Thanks so much for going over to give her a word of encouragement- Diana

MamasBoy Rocks! Literally~

My son and my
daughter-in-love have
been working on their place
for a l-o-n-g time.
You don't want to know
HOW LONG
because we will all start crying.
Let's just say that with
building permits,
and work stoppages,
and city permits,
and work stoppages,
and rain..
and work stoppages..
did I mention city codes that
were impossible to meet?
Well, anyway..
it has been a
LONG HAUL,

However,
the inside is mostly done.
Too beautiful to show you-
you would all start having
heart palpitations...~
Anyway..
the outside needed a bit
of
LANDSCAPE HELP
after all the
CITY CODES had
been met.

On my way hone from work
today I stopped and
look what is
rocking my world!
My son, MamasBoy,
is terracing their property.
Here's what he started with..

and this is a partial before..

And here is what is happening now.

He's a pretty good stoner, huh?
NO-Not THAT kinda stoner...

What were you thinking?
I mean this kind of stoner..

And pretty soon his sweet
wife will be making it as
pretty as the  container
on her porch~

I think
this whole project
 ROCKS!

Ria The BalleRIAna!

My little Ria was so
lucky!
She was one of 10 kids
in our area that got selected
to take a
ballet workshop
with a NYC ballerina.

Every year this woman
comes to Milwaukee to take
summer classes.
This year she offered to share
her talent with 10 girls .
Ria has taken a couple years
of dance classes
and learned a few basic moves
but NOTHING like she
learned this week.
She was with girls who have
all taken classes at this
particular school.
Ria takes lessons
 at a different place
so she was a bit of
an "outsider"
to start.

However,
Ria, being Ria,
soon endeared herself
to everyone.

Today was her
"recital"
The 10 girls all performed
together to
music from
The Nutcracker.
Each girl made their own
"accessories"
including
A Rat's Face

And a wand
and crown..

And they got to wear
REAL ballerina outfits..

At the end,
each girl got to perform
a routine she had
devised for herself.
Ria did a beautiful job.
She is SO graceful..
and feels the music.
I think
ballet
is going to be her
"thing".

We were so proud watching
her..and they saved
her perfomance for last.
She did a wonderful job!
Her big sister, Lulu,
was very proud of her!

Tomorrow I will show
you how Sweetcheeks
fared at this "party"..
'Deed I will~

Baby E Is Turning Two!

This will be a short post today.
We are off to Milwaukee to
celebrate BabyE's big day.

Last year he had a
MONKEY PARTY!
Complete with a MONKEY CAKE~

I'm not sure WHY
they chose a monkey theme...

I'm not sure what the
theme is this year..
but it really doesn't matter
because
The Theme
IS
BABY E!

Can you believe he has
grown from this tiny baby?

Into this precious
little 6 month old...

and onto this sweet little
9 month old
And at Christmas time
he had those
 bright blue eyes
and curls that make me want to cry..

He's so dang cute that
I could eat him up..
but I won't say that in
front of
SweetCheeks
because she would probably
offer me a spoon!
She is not
EGGactly his best fan.
And that brings me to this...
I have often pondered this question~
Which came first the
chicken or the rabbit?

Maybe I'll find out today~
And if you are very good and
promise not to rip up your
husband's old Tshirts
(you know the ones you hate
with stupid graphics or holes
in them-Yeah-those TShirts)
In a day or two...
I'll be back with pictures~
(Exit-singing Tomorrow from Annie)
Doncha just hate that that song will
be running through your head all day?

Baby E At The Dr's Office

I think most of you know
that my lovely
daughter, Mimi,
and my son-in-law,
TheIslandScout,
are expecting
baby #2.

Baby#2 is due
11/11/11.
Wouldn't that be an
AMAZING
birthday?

So, last Tuesday
I drove down to
Milwaukee
and went with Mimi
to her Dr's appointment.

I got to see the ultrasound
of our new little
grandbaby.
They do not want to know
if it's a boy or girl
so Mimi covered my
face with her hands
when the
ultrasound tech
got to that part.
Spoil sport!

However,
during the first part of the
appointment, I got to
sit with BabyE
in the waiting room.
He is a charmer, I tell you,
A CHARMER!

He flirts with all the girls.
LOOK AT
those eyelashes!
And, as you can see,
by this 20 second video..
he never stops moving.

Maybe Baby#2
will be a sitter!
Uhmm.hnmmm.
That's what Mimi is
hoping for!

I'm Not Sure HOW Old I am-But God knows-SCheeks Video

The day is a hot,
muggy almost
90º day.
We don't have many of
those in
Green Bay, WI.

After a morning of
running kids around,
my daughter along
with SweetCheeks
and Lulu
met me for
lunch.

Soon after we were
seated the subject of
age came up.
I love
SweeetCheeks
FIRST GUESS
the best~
Sorry about the background
noise.  We were in an
outdoor restuarant.
It WAS air conditioned
inside and being
as the sweat was rolling
down our foreheads we
could have opted for
 inside seating.
..but..Hey!
We never SAID we were
the brightest bulbs in
the Sylvania factory!

Notice all the mosquito bites
on SweetCheeks!

POSING FOR PICTURES

We love being outside
just as the sun is getting ready to set.

I call out to the kids that
I will take their picutres.
Lulu pays no mind and
heads right into the water.

SweetCheeks follows
Lulu's lead.

Ria, however, decides to
POSE for a picture.

Hey! SweetCheeks calls.
I wahnna pose too.
Do I do it lihke this, Ria?

Yep!  Just like that.
Okay..I gonna go up on
the grass and pose up there.
Okay, Nana?
Okay, SweetCheeks!
Hohw's this?

No answer...
Ummm..SweetCheeks..
How about I take another one.
Noooo~thiss is stooopid
I gonna go play in the sand.

Okay..
I think it is time for a family
picture.
Just so you remember being
at Nana & Papa's house
on a summer night.
Wait till my son-in-law sees that he
has a piece of hair standing straight up
on his head-he is fussy about his hair.
Sorry~At least you don't have a comb-over.
Just in time.
There is just enough light.
Turn around, girls..
Quick..quick..
There it goes~

Happy Night~

Wedding Bell Blues...

If you read yesterday's post
you know that my daughter's last
BFF from school is getting married.
Here's her day~
Kristin cried all
day.
She cried when she got up.
She cried when she got dressed.
She cried  and SHOOK
when she was
putting on her lipstick.
She cried when she
walked down the aisle
on the arm of her brother.
She wasn't crying because
she was sad.
No, indeedy!
She was crying because she
was so happy.
Happy and in love.
Happy and loved.

When she got to
the front of the church
a miracle happened.
She stopped crying
and
she started smiling.
She smiled for the rest of the day.

So~ You are wondering what
was the BLUE part of the day?
Well,
All the bridesmaids
wore aqua blue dresses.
Here's one sister...
Here's another sister...
Her friend and old roommate,
One of her best friends from school.
And, below is my daughter,
who decorated the church
and the reception hall,
and made the hairpieces
that matched the dresses..
Doncha just love the hanger in
the background?
Adds a little something special
doesn't it? unhmmm
(You know her best as the
Mom of SweetCheeks)

The flowergirls wore
dresses that my granddaughters
had worn.
Let me tell you,
they were expensive dresses
but today as we counted
the flowers girls that
had worn them we realized
that this was the
EIGHTH wedding
for these dresses.
Just the sash color gets changed.
We wash them on gentle and hang
them to dry.
Crazy, huh?

And MyHero did a wonderful
job performing the wedding.
It was tender and touching
and produced a few laughs.
However, at the end everyone was
quiet as the final prayer
of the blessing for
 a happy healthy marriage
winged its way towards Heaven.
The reception was a wonderful
affair.
It was at Brett Favre's
restuarant.
There was a lovely
mixed green salad.
a smoked chicken breast,
a small tenderloin,
potatoes,
fresh al dente veggies
and
cake.
Of course we had cake

At the end of the evening,
I asked for one last shot
of the bride and groom.
When I said
SHOT
they kinda looked at me..
and then I realized that
SHOT to a policeman
has a whole different
meaning.

They smiled anyway.
Congratulations,
Kristin and Taylor-
You are beautiful.
May God bless you
and your marriage.

I DO- I DO! I DO PROMISE WEDDING PICTURES

My daughter's last
BFF that is still single
is getting married today.

MyHero is performing the
ceremony.

I will feel very safe at the wedding.
Why? You ask.
Well, it's because she is
marrying one of
Green Bay's finest men.
One of our local
policeman...
Yep!  Somehow he has
managed to escape
the handcuffs everytime.
He was a confirmed bachelor..
until he met Kristin.
Wait!  Wait!
Hey! Where are you going?

Here's a little sneak peak...
We will be seeing
something that looks like
THIS...

And something that looks like
THIS...

But in THIS color.

And eating something that
looks like
THIS...

And there will be two
little girls
wearing dresses
that both my granddaughters
wore as flower girls
in 2 weddings.
This is the 4th or 5th time
these dresses have been
loaned out.
Aren't they sweet?

These were taken when
my youngest daughter got
married.
Lulu & Ria made cute
little flower girls.
We just change the
sash to match the wedding colors.

Confused yet?
Are you wondering
if any of this is real?

Well.....
If I don't eat too much
or sleep in too late..
I will show you some
REAL pictures
of the REAL
wedding~
tomorrow.
I promise!
