PLEASE PRAY FOR GERT'S HUBBY, TOM, AGAIN!

I have been following Gert since I started 

blogging.

Her blog is:

Gert, Tom & Rusty, too.

I have no idea how we found each other-

but we did.

Gert's hubby, Tom, is not doing 

real well.

He is supposed to have some 

major surgery.

They are trying to make sure he

is stable enough for that surgery.

It has been one step forward and 

two steps back with his healthcare issues.

Gert is a trooper but I know

she is really worried.

They have been unable to get his heart 

medications

regulated and it has caused them both 

a lot of anxiety and unrest.

Gert is staying as upbeat 

and positive as she can---

but she is worried.

Please send them both prayers

(or well-wishes if you don't pray)

for health well-being,

and peace of mind.

I still have a houseful of family

here for the weekend so will be

scare until tomorrow sometime.

Many of you know 

Tete over at

This is the message posted

by her son tonight.

The ER

This is Tete's son, Craig,

with this post.  Mom was

taken by ambulance to the ER

for what we believe is a 

pinched nerve in her back.

It's located in the spot that

controls her gall bladder and

she had a nasty spell today.

We're praying that the 

doctors are able to fix

what is wrong.

Tete has not been well

for quite some time but

she never complains.

However,

the past few days she has 

been really sick.

She has always been my 

GO TO person when I 

can't figure something out

on the computer.

She is such a good soul,

caring and loving.

Please take just a moment

and pray for her.

If you have an extra few seconds

pop by her blog and send

her a get well wish.

Sunday Prayer Request For A Little Girl Named Tori

PLEASE PRAY FOR TORI

I heard about this through

my friend, Tete,

Beyond The Garden Gate.

Her neighbor's  granddaughter,

Tori, was having severe pain

in her ankle.

They took her to the ER

for X-Rays only to discover

that she has bone cancer

and it has spread into her leg.

They took her to a larger hospital

where they discovered

4 cancerous tumors in

her lungs.

NO CHILD

deserves this.

NO PARENT

deserves the agony of

watching this happen to 

their child.

Please, please, please

pray for her.

The sad thing is that her

sister is not well either.

Every day I say a prayer of 

thanksgiving that my children

and grandchildren are

healthy and sound.

I'm sure most of you do, too.

Prayer Updates- Smiles And Sadness-Please Keep Praying

A few weeks ago

I asked for prayers

for this sweet, young woman.

Her name is Jessica.

She is the daughter-in-law

of friends of ours.

She has been undergoing 

a grueling round of chemo

and has had a lot of ups and downs.

However, her 

BAD NUMBERS

 are dropping!

Drastically!

BUT-they need to drop more

before she is considered cured.

I am going to see her

tomorrow at a big family affair.

Please remember her 

in your prayers.

She desperately needs them.

Her good news is worth a smile.

Now, the not-so-happy news.

Viv from Out On A Whim

let me know

that her little grandson

did not make it.

Doesn't that picture just

break your heart?

child home.

And, although we know he is

in a better place,

his Mom & Dad

and all his extended family

are hurting.
