THE BABYSITTER
Lulu is just getting old enough to babysit.
So, while she was here last weekend,
we had CJK come over so she
could practice.
Here is how it went!
Lulu is trying to read her book for school
and keep an eye on CJK.
He is VERY INTERESTED in her book.
He is SO interested that he says he can read it--
and starts with
Once 'pon a time....
She is not getting much reading done because
Bucko drops her book on the floor
and gives her a
GREAT BIG HUG!
That hug did not seem to get enough of a response-
Let's try
ONE MORE REALLY BIG HUG-
along with the
CHIN GRIND!
Ah- yes--perfect response...
Now- Let's just move along
to balancing on the
Hairy Headed Sisters!
This is what they call an

So darn cute!! And oh, the energy. It is wasted on the young!! LOL
Oh that last picture just made me laugh. I love the pouty face. He sure looked like he was having fun up until then.
AWWWW! Those moments you've captured are pure magic---one such little brother and older sister re-played that scene here for ages. She'd settle in with a Harry Potter, and a small hand would come up to the book for a grab, I'd say "Let Sister Read," (flashbacks to my own omnivorous reading childhood, when it was MOTHER making me put away my book, because it was "Wasting Daylight).
Changing tactics, a little wistful "Dinosaur?" from Brother, and her sweet soft heart would settle for the Mesozoic instead.
And your Pop-Pop could well be another of my Chris' brothers---impeccable silver haircut, immaculate beard (except his was more Santa length for three months every year---and he wore the Santa hat everywhere in December). What a handsome fellow for the gorgeous Blonde-of-the-House. Ours was named GANNER.
CJK and Lulu are beautiful. And she has the most stunning smile! I think it was you who asked about my calendar, It is indeed Marjolein Bastin!!! You must have some of her things.
