Oh, you are so funny! Hey, I remember when some boys in my 9th grade class gave our math teacher some chocolate covered ants that were disguised as chocolate covered raisins...and he ate them right there in front of the class and talked about how good they were. LOL. I don't know if he ever knew the truth or not, but all the rest of the class sure knew and giggled all the way through. LOL. Maybe he was just being a good sport. Anyway, those cupcakes do look good! But I'll pass on the grasshoppers!

OH, MY GOSH!!! You brought back a decades-ago moment I'd totally erased from my brain. WAY back when I was in college, one practical-joker girl stayed in somebody's naughty chair---she was a bit mean with her pranks, like Vicks salve in one girl's hairbrush while she showered for a date. You can imagine how that turned out.

But one day I heard giggling in the hall, from the area of the one phone on our floor---you had to just stand there and talk where everybody could hear, all up and down through the open doors.

That joker-girl was on the phone with her boyfriend, as I heard the tale later, and one of the others walked up, offered her a chocolate from a pretty box, and then her conversation turned into a series of little Ptuh and Pt'oo, as she continued her conversation whilst spitting out little chips and legs of crickets. And she just kept chewing and spitting and mooning into the phone, despite the cackles from folks hidden behind their doors.

I didn't SEE any of it, but she was not a good sport about it.

HAPPY FRIDAY to YOU!!!

I couldn't even eat the cupcakes alone, with a thought of grasshoppers bouncing in my head.
