PICK YOUR FAVORITE AUGUST TABLE-YOU CAN DO IT!!!

 Well-Here we go!

I figured if I didn't get back here soon,
y'all would forget my name.

What better way to
reappear than with a
PICK YOUR FAVORITE!?

 Here's the scenario-
It is an outdoor wedding.
All you have to do is show up,
be on your best behavior,
and if you don't have anything nice to say
about someone----
don't say anything....
come sit by me.

Pick ONE TABLE--
Otherwise you will
PAY FOR YOUR OWN MEAL!

So, without further ado-
here we go!

Table #1
GREEN RUFFLES

Table #2
A TOUCH OF GOLD

TABLE #3

LOVE THOSE LIGHTS

Table #4
BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR

Table #5
LET LOVE GROW

Table #6
FRANKLY LOVING FERNS

Table #7
COURTLY COURTYARD
Okay!  Now---
Pick a table and I will be back
in a few days to let you
know who you will be sitting with....
some of you are going to
be surprised!

THANK YOU for bearing with me. Hubby has not been doing well and I sometimes feel like I am living in limbo.  Day-by-day.  I am so glad to have my naughty little boy for company! As you can see-he LOVES PAPER-and pencils!

My spacing is all messed up-consider the source before complaining.. 😀

I pick Table #5, LET LOVE GROW. If nothing else, I love the name. They are all lovely but this one appeals to me. Thanks always for the game to play. I can't wait to see how many choose this table.

Oh how fun Diana! Glad to see you back blogging, I've been absent a lot too this summer. Praying for your husband 🙏 may the Lord's healing touch be with him! And so, I choose #3, Love the lights and outdoor setting! Have a blessed day ❤️

What not to love about laid-back #4, Bring your own Chair! Nothing fussy, no frills ... why, it's got my name all over it.

Thanks for making us all smile.

So sorry your husband isn't doing well. Praying things will improve soon. I like #3.

Sorry to hear your husband is going through a rough patch. Best wishes to him and to you.

I'll pick Table #7 -- Courtly Courtyard. It looks like it has the comfiest chairs to sit in.

Number THREE, I think---the greens are so lovely, the centerpiece is low, there are just enough places for good conversation, and you know I love me some lights twinkling---my imagination will have those woods full of fireflies, as we dance in white draperies on that soft lawn to old Glenn Miller and a little bit of Queen. And there's just the daintiest little glimpse of PINK there down the table---that settles it right there. Good company, good music, a gentle evening and watching folks you love start a whole new life together. You DO plan the nicest parties!

I'm going to pick #7 because the chairs are the most comfy looking. I sort of like the fern one, but the seats would kill my butt. Sorry John isn't feeling well. Hope things start to turn around for him.

As much as I love the lights on Table 3 - I love the ambiance of Table #5 best of all!!

Love your sweet companion and glad you have him! Praying for you and John....yes, you are wise in going day-by-day. Love you, my sweet friend.

Good to see you, Diana. I hope John's health improves. Can you believe how fast this year is flying by. I'll be late coming to the party but I'll be thinking about the good times you all are having. You can save me a small tray table in the corner so I won't be in the way.

Diana ~ I'll take table #4, please! Love the slightly messy look!
Hugs to you and your Hero; scritches to your 'assistant'!

...a question about FRANKLY LOVING FERNS. Where does the food go, or are the ferns the food?

I like the last one best. It looks so classic. Sorry John isn't feeling well. Will be praying.

I'm going for table 3 with all the lights. So pretty. Looks like floating stars.

Diana, My heart aches for you and John. I keep you in my prayers. Tell the family hello and please hug John for me. Hold him tight my friend. I some times feel like a one winged fly myself. Just spinning not able to get going. May God bless you, John and the family. Love you, xoxo, Susie
P.S. By the way, I like table 5... As long as someone else is cooking, I'm eating. :)

Kim said...

I choose table #5, but only if I get to sit in one of those fancy blue upholstered chairs. Haha...there's always one in the group! 😉
Keeping you and John in my prayers. xo

My pick is number three. It was elegant without being overdone and I agree with Lisa in the comment above mine . . .
I love fairy lights :)

Number #6 for me . . .
Of course I would choose #6 . . .
I LOVE green and ferns too.

Denise said...

Grabbing a chair at #7 please. I’m willing to bring a present or even a bottle (or two) of wine to a wedding but never a chair. Hope you’ll be sitting there as well!

MadSnapper said...

table 3 because its simple and I love the lights. 4 was my choice because I love those chairs, but the pattern of the dishes is just to much.i wanted to sit with Ginny and/or Myra, but as much as i like them, the lights won out. if the tables are to full, move them to MY table

Rita C at Panoply said...

I'll choose #3, love the lights. I do hope your Hero turns a corner for the positive. I know what limbo feels like. It's hard. Prayers for you both, Diana.

Cecilia said...

Number 4 - Love those lights. Outside in August - it’s definitely not in Texas. We would fry or melt. Ugh, it’s so hot. So I’m choosing the one where it looks like an evening wedding so the sun isn’t beating down. Besides the table looks inviting. Make sure I have an icy cold drink for the duration, ‘k?
Sorry to hear John isn’t doing well. Praying for y’all.
Hugs, Cecilia

Ok, I can’t count! Number 3 is what I meant. Sheesh. Apparently I need more coffee this morning.

#7 fir me Diana, I am all about comfort. I adore most of the tables, however those chairs would make my visit short. So sorry John isn’t doing well. Prayers for a John and you. So glad you have your sweet little boy. Xoxo

I pick table 4! Bring your own chair? Are recliners acceptable? I can't promise best behavior however, altho perhaps my best behavior would be defined differently 😂 I'll try not to say anything ( loud though for others to hear). We can sit together and play hide the mimosas.
Hope John is feeling better soon! 💖🙏 Hugs and love!

Good Morning my friend. I think it is going to be crowded but #7. It is the courtyard and the lovely neutrals for me. I have those dining chairs and I have to say they are very comfy. Praying John will get to a better place with his health. I wish I lived closer to a mental health day from it all. Glad your little side kick is helping out. At least you have him for smooches from that cute little face. Have a good weekend. Hugs. Kris

TABLE #3 - ANYTHING WITH LIGHTS WOULD BE MY GO TO. :)

Diana, I'm so sorry to hear that your husband is unwell; I do hope that his health improves soon.

As for the tables, I will choose table #1 because, you know me, I like having a proper table cloth and the green ruffles are cute, too, although I don't care for artichokes (I think those are artichokes on the plates?). On the other hand, table #7 looks lovely with all those candles and those chairs look a bit more comfortable!

Ann said...

Number 3 because I really do love those lights and I don't want to pay for my own meal. I probably will be the one who doesn't have anything nice to say too so you'll be needing to sit by me :)

Polly said...

I'm sorry to hear about your hubby Diana, I hope he will soon be feeling much better. I would like table #7 please, the chairs look very comfy :-)

Terri D said...

You and your hubby are in my daily prayers. As for the tables, I will ask to be seated at table #7. Not sure why. It just spoke to me when I saw it. Thanks for the fun!! Hugs to you!

Jettie said...

I choose #2 I love the bit of yellow in the flowers, and so far not many want to sit with me, so I can spread out and have lots of room

I think I’m the only one that likes #1!! I don’t want to sit by myself, so put me wherever.
I’m still praying for both you and your hubby.
Hugs to you Diana.

I'm a sucker for outdoor lights, so I'll take Table 3, please! If there's no room, I'd be happy in the courtyard at #7!

Dear Diana....
So nice to see you online again!
Ah...the tables are all lovely....but I will have to go with Number 7!! It's my Hubby's lucky number...and it looks like it would be an elegant wedding...now what should I wear??
Have a great day!

OK the pirate requests to be seated at Table Number Three because I be loving the lights overhead ALTHOUGH she is a tad bit nervous about mosquitoes ... as in, are they biting??? ... but it looks to be not quite high summer going by the foliage on yon distant trees, so we'll go with that. Arrrgghhh where be me Diet Dr. Pepper with two wedges of lemon? Haaahahha xoxo
