Here's what's sitting on my kitchen counter.
That is taken with the sun shining through
the window that faces the bay.
The sun also glances off the clear glass
that I have arranged on a cutting board
made by a special friend of ours.
Do you see the playhouse in the background?
Well...look at this!
Does it look like the Clampetts live there?
(Anyone else remember the Beverly Hillbillies?;>)
It is Spring Cleaning time!
SOOOO--
Today I will be re-cleaning the play house...
and setting up a tea party....
and maybe,
if you are nice and promise not to feed
the crows jumping beans,
then tomorrow I might show you the
PLAYHOUSE all set up for SUMMER.
Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Diana, I love bleeding hearts. I have tried to grow them. Had one plant in town. Love the display of glass. I can not wait for the play house tea party.. Hope you have a great day, xoxo,Susie
What a great summer home for all the little ones! I had a tree house when I was small, when it was my turn it became my very own cottage but when my brothers had their turn it became a fort! We even had electric, phone and television thanks to my Dad's carpentry skills. Oh such wonderful memories! Have a great day Diana!
Where's Jethro? Enjoy your cleaning day. I would think it would be a lot more fun to do than the big house.
Ah the Clampetts, I remember them well! I loved how they passed each other the vittles using the snooker cues, and I can still see Granny sat in her rocking chair on top of the truck...
I would use that summer home as my "hideaway" from the hubs, since he's always looking for me! Your bleeding hearts are so pretty, I love how the flower dangle like rain drops. I need to get my butt in some more spring cleaning, and I'd love to stop by for a tea party. I also now know how to tune a fish!
I make no promises, I always feed the crows, lol, what beautiful Bleeding Hearts , I love them,
Bleeding heart and lilac - two of my favorites! And that playhouse is so darling!
AAaaahhhh....the playhouse...all fixed up for summer! I'll be there in a jiffy! Enjoy your day, don't work too hard my friend! Sweet hugs!
Oh, every child's dream...the playhouse is great! Can't wait to see it when you are finished...
Blessings,
Cindy
I want to play in there! Boy I would've loved having something like that as a child.
Too hot for playhouses here in summer, but yours looks COOL! I need to Spring Clean our barn apartment (luckily with air conditioning), but my cleaning girl quit (again!!!). Guess it is left up to me :( Linda@Wetcreek Blog
Your first picture makes me feel like I'm a fairy, nestled beneath the blossoms!
But I really cannot wait for more details on that fairy tale of a playhouse! Precious!
Good luck in getting ready for summer. I need to spring clean my house and declutter my closets.
Oh boy!!!! I would love to see the inside of that sweet playhouse! Hugs, Penny
The play house is adorable!!!
Lucky kiddos.
I love bleeding hearts...they're so delicate and lovely. Your playhouse is charming...lucky grandkids!!!

So cute. The girls must just love playing and hanging out in the playhouse. Too cute.

Oh, I can smell your lilacs from here, Diana. I just love that little play house. I would like to have one just like it when I have grandchildren. And thanks for letting me know what that plant was on my post. It was so pretty, but I just couldn't figure out what it was. Someone else said it may be some kind of oat?
Enjoy your day cleaning the play house out.
love,
~Sheri
what a beautiful bouquet! how i wish we could have lilacs in the house, without our sneezing our heads off. -pout-
of course i know the "beverly hillbillies"! and "petticoat junction" and "green acres" and....... :-)))))))))))))))
but the play house doesn't look like "granny clampett" lives there. no stillllllllllllllllllllll...!!! ,-)
Darling playhouse! I promise to be good.
Always love to see what gals have on their windowsills. Yours is lovely...
I love it! My daughter used to have one, and it reminds me of those days.
The flowers are beautiful, and the playhouse is a dream-come-true!
Lovely!!!
The bleeding hearts and lilacs make a beautiful arrangement. The light shing through is spectacular!
Love how you created that space for the grandchildren to play. I am sure they have tons of fun out there
How lovely the reflection on the glass with the beautiful flowers.
Oh my, you have a job on your hands - a tea party, well I can hardly wait. Are we having refreshments too?
Don't work to hard.
Mary
Love the flowers and the playhouse! Laynee was here today and we had a tea party, then painted, then had another tea party. And then played with the magnetic alphabet letters. We then closed out the morning with a trip to McDonalds for a happy meal. And no, she is not spoiled! LOL
Judy
The flowers are beautiful Diana, my bleeding hearts didn't come back this year. The Beverly Hillbillies was one silly show and I watched it faithfully lol, so yeah I sure do remember the Clampetts. Granny was my favorite. The kids playhouse is way to adorable. I'll bet lots of fun times are had in there.
I love bleeding hearts, they are so pretty. Loving the playhouse for your grandchildren too!
I do remember the Beverly Hillbillies, I was a kid but I'm not sure how old. It's so nice that you have a playhouse for the grandkids. We used to have one like it in our basement until the kids got too big to play in it:( xoKathleen
That is such a cute playhouse! What a lucky girl to get to have that. I'm sure it won't be too difficult to clean up and have ready for more tea parties.
So fabulous that you have that cute playhouse for your lovely grandkids!!!...Oh how I would love to have lilacs!
Oh, I love those bleeding hearts....so pretty!! That playhouse is so..so cute! a What lucky little grands you have!
Blessings,

I always enjoy peeks at that sweet little house. I hope you had fun spring cleaning! I need to do the same for the girl's treehouse.
It would nice having a real house like that.
Oh I love playhouses and tea parties! Those bleeding hearts are wonderful, I have some in my yard but no blooms :(
I think the Clampett's would have been mighty proud to own a home like that ( well before they hit oil - black gold - texas tea ) lol
It's so pretty - can't even imagine it looking any sweeter!
XOX
playhouses and tea parties--what a sweet life!
The bleeding heart is so pretty! My grandmother gave me one that we planted at our first house. I often wonder if it's still there. :) I can only imagine how many wonderful tea parties take place in that adorable play house. So fun!
Cute, cute, cute playhouse!!!! I love bleeding hearts!!! ~~Angela
Can't wait for the cleaned up version of the playhouse lol, even tho it looks happy and lived in as it is.
