There won't be many words
needed to explain this one.
The word basically says it all.
Do you know what
THESE ARE?
Well, according to my youngest
when he was little
when he was little
Those are
STUNKS!
Yes-indeedy! That is what they are.
They STINK and they are SKUNKS
so combine those two words and
you have
STUNKS!
You will remember this is the daddy
of little CJK who has a
WEINESS!
You can read that here-if you missed it.
I think we should add that one to the
new Webster's Dictionary!
You have a great Wednesday.
And PLEASE if you see
ANY STUNKS
DO NOT-
I repeat-
DO NOT approach them!
And if you DO- well, let's just say-
We'll know where you've been!
oh i had forgotten about the weiness till you mentioned it ....lol!
ReplyDeleteMakes perfect sense!!!
ReplyDeleteoh i had forgotten about the weiness till you mentioned it ....lol!

ReplyDeleteSnicker snicker! Love the combo word! I will definitely not approach any stunks if I see them!
ReplyDeleteLol, I love it "stinks" indeed. Such a cute animal that smells so bad. Uh, did anyone get sprayed? I hope not!!
ReplyDeleteOh good grief! I typed stunks and spell check changed it to stinks. Haha. Have a great week, Diana.

The neighbor has had to run two stucks out of his barn area...I am thankful it's the back barns. pu, I could not sit out while that smell was on the breeze. I've started your book. It's getting very interesting right off. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

ReplyDeleteA stunk! I love it!!! Peee-yooooooo!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh lovely, I woke up at 5 am this morning to the smell of stunks...lol in every single corner of our house. Apparently the lovelies are hanging out somewhere near by, and they like to spray each morning. With the heat every single window was opened...Eau de plonk of stunk around here, hold your nose...
ReplyDeleteJen
ROFL!! Makes perfect scents ;-)
ReplyDeleteWhen I was younger and lived in the backwoods, saw plenty. Now, mostly see on the freeway, but they still make your car stink.
ReplyDeleteThe words that our children and grandchildren invent are the best words of all! And Stunks makes perfect sense even if spellcheck doesn't approve!
ReplyDeleteI am calling them stunks from now on. Love it!
ReplyDeleteBig Texas Hugs,
Susan and Bentley
Stunk works for me,
ReplyDeleteAnd somehow I'm sure he still calls them that! Cute.
ReplyDeleteHey! That makes total sense to me!
ReplyDeleteMakes sense to me too!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Cindy
So cute! I think you should consider publishing your own family dictionary, Diana.
ReplyDeleteYou all have a gift for making your own unique words!
Reminds me of "you can call me Flower if you want to...." :)
ReplyDeleteCute! And appropriate!
ReplyDeleteHilarious! I just love how children simplify the world! LOL! :)
ReplyDeleteStunks sounds just right to me! Lol! Too cute.
ReplyDeleteI think it fits! We had one of those stunky things come in our back yard a couple of months ago. I sure was glad to see him leave. He checked out the back yard pretty good and I was so relieved that Trudy wasn't outside.
ReplyDeleteOh, Diana, it good to have you back! It stunks when you are not around!!..Happy Wednesday..Judy
ReplyDeleteOh, that is so funny, Diana. It makes sense too, but it's a tongue twister and hard to say.
ReplyDeleteLove all the delightful words from children's past.
~Sheri
I don't care what they are called and if they have a great color combo, I just don't want to meet one up close and personal!
ReplyDeleteLove it. Isn't it wonderful how our little ones come up with their own words? I love stunks! :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you're back.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
So cute!! I love it and it surely makes a lot of sense or is it scents? ♥
ReplyDeleteperfect word...stunk
ReplyDeleteMy son on Fathers day told us he has a skunk in yard. He has been there year after year. Hanging around and then he disappears. I would think he mus be a pet.
ReplyDeleteHe goes from fence to fence to all the homes. He has nothing to eat or disturb. I think he is a friendly one. He never skunks. He just passes under the fences. He starts July 3rd Canadian Day. He must be living somewhere in someones place. He sure startles you. I seen him coming. I diked inside the patio door. He is pretty large.
LOL!!! Kids!!
ReplyDeleteStunks.... That is so funny!!
ReplyDeleteI think they're cute, but I don't want to be sprayed by one, that's for sure. We had a dog that chased them all the time, when I was a kid. My parents should have invested in tomato juice ;)
xo,
rue
Cute! And makes perfect sense. My neighbors had a dog who got sprayed by a skunk once. Eeewwwww! So stinky! I think they tried bathing him in tomato juice, but it didn't seem to get rid of the smell. Lol!
ReplyDeleteSoooo cute Miss D! Gosh I've missed you so much! Big hugs~
ReplyDeleteToo cute. Love this new word!!! We had two of those Stunks in the backyard the other night. Good thing Libby did not come across them or she would have been stunky for sure!!!! Have a great evening.
ReplyDeleteKris
that's one animal I don't want to see in person
ReplyDeletei think your next book should be nana diana's ' fractured dictionary! ' LOLOL!!! ♥
ReplyDeleteGREAT ONE! WE ONCE HAD A WOODEN DECK THAT A FEMALE SKUNK HAD 8 BABIES UNDER! IT WAS AWFUL AND GOT HELP FROM ANIMAL RESCUE T GET THEM GONE, THEN REPLACED THE WOOD DECK WITH CONCRETE PATIO! MY SON CALLED THE SKUNKS STINKY KITTIES!
ReplyDeleteMakes sense to me, Diana:) Hope you are having a good day!
ReplyDeleteYou're back!! Hip-Hip-Hooray! You are SOOO missed when you're away :) Stunks....too cute! And it makes perfect sense.

ReplyDeleteOut of the mouths of babes..So cute..Glad you are back..
ReplyDeleteStunk is perfect!! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Diana! Oh, about the hat - that is so sweet of you.
ReplyDeleteContinue being a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Oh boy, nothing worse than stunks in the morning! AND it took me three tries to write that...my computer kept trying to correct it to stinks, skunks and stunk! Maybe we should add it to the dictionary! ;-)
ReplyDeleteOk, I just clicked over to see what weiness was...lol, I am rolling. That is too funny.
ReplyDeleteHe is so smart! They are STUNKS - aren't they?
ReplyDeleteSo cute! And this post did NOT stink, stank, stunk!!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
I love this post!
ReplyDeleteyou have me rolling over here...
my son used to stare intently at the armadillo statue on his Grampa's desk. Once when he was about 3... I asked him, What are you staring at?
he said...Look, it's a turtle-rat!
appropriately so!
I don't think I have ever seen a "Stunk" in the wild...But, If I do I will stay clear!
ReplyDeleteps: thank you for your always kind words, I so appreciate it. I did pay someone to mind my booth, but even at that it was so much work....We'll see what i do next year?

Diana this is so funny, you made my day. Jo
ReplyDeleteSo cute but so stinky! My daughter and I were driving down the road early one morning and got hit smack in the face with the stinkiest skunk ever! It was so strong, it took our breath away! Never did see it on the road so It must have just bee roaming the area, blasting everything in sight! Shoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo we! That was one stinky stunk! Hugs, Leena
ReplyDeleteLOL! So cute! My cousin has been writing about our old neighborhood and our heritage. He committed to 30 days of June and has done an excellent job. I am going to try to join him during July. This reminded me of my grandfather. He had chicken and the skunks had been getting his chickens! He got sprayed once and my Auntie Annie buried his clothes in the backyard! Oh could I tell you some skunk stories. Come over when you have the time. LOL! LOL LOL! Hugs my friend, Anne
ReplyDeleteHahahahahaha!!!! I needed BOTH of these laughs!!!!
ReplyDeleteHahahahahaha! I LOVE these! So funny!
Hugs,
Kelley~
