Disclaimer: This is NOT MyHero in that costume.
He refuses to put it on and have his picture taken.
He says he doesn't like bell-bottoms. pffffffftttt..

Diana, I always know that when I come over here on St. Patrick's Day that I'll be pleasantly surprised with a delightful post. I really like that crystal jar that Mimi gave you. An Irish Priest married us, and he gave us four Irish coffee glasses that I will always treasure. I love the shamrock plants - I've never seen them before. Oh, the leprechauns are calling our names today, Diana.
ReplyDeleteWishing you the best St. Patrick's Day ever, my beloved friend.
~Sheri
by the way, the comment I deleted I was just telling you that I just wrote the longest comment and it didn't go through and had to write another one, ugghh, only for you, my friend.
LOL! I didn't get much St. Patrick's Day decorating done this year...I made a little banner and a shamrock decoration. I'm not doing justice to my Irish heritage! I am thinking I need to put up an Irish blessing. Happy St. Patrick's Day, Diana! (I almost typed Happy Thanksgiving...)
ReplyDeleteHappy St. Patrick's Day to you! I wish I could have shamrocks in the house, but the cats won't leave them alone. They ate one I'd had for decades and still I believed they'd leave the new one alone. I can't be responsible for so much shamrock murder and have settled for a glittery fake one.
ReplyDeleteDiana, your shamrocks are beautiful and such sweet daughters you have .
ReplyDeleteHappy St. Patrick's Day!
Connie :)
So glad you finally got your shamrocks just in time for the big day! Happy St. Patty's Day to you! Our daughter was born today 19 years ago, and I am still in the disbelieving state of wondering how time flew by so fast! Pinch me and tell me its not true, LOL!
ReplyDeleteThose are pretty shamrocks! We have snow here too...ugh...so over it. Maybe the leprechauns will make it all disappear. I'll keep you posted! ;)

ReplyDeleteLove the costume.
Judy
Wish I had me some of those shamrocks! All my Irish china is packed away Lord knows where (from when we packed up because the house was for sale) so I don't even have that to put around as decoration. Love your Irish touches. Erin go bragh yourself! And Happy St. Patrick's Day!
ReplyDeletexoKathleen
like your post. Beautiful card you received.
ReplyDeleteLove your shamrock plants. I never knew there were such plants. Neot to old to learn.

ReplyDeleteWhat a fortunate lady you are to have two loving daughters and a very smart hero.
All the best from a "Lucky Enough" Oldish Celtic Lassie
Beautiful sharings! I always admire those that make cards ~ I used to do better about that than I do now. A few ladies in our Chemo Angels group make cards and they are stunning too.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have an Irish Coffee this evening! :) It was 81 here today....and humid. Storms expected later. I may turn on the A/C and have that coffee anyway.
xo
Pat
Happy St. Patrick's Day! Love the shamrocks in that planter! I also love the (hunk of a man) leprechaun in the outfit!
ReplyDeleteYou alwasy make me smile, Diana! You have a special gift! I collect Belleek; I love it! The Biscuit jar, vase and card are lovely! I'm so happy you found your shamrock plants- the nerve of that lady buying them all. Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Carla
Happy St. Patrick's Day. Love the outfit!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a wonderful day!!!
ReplyDeleteLouise
Not a drop of Irish here, but green is my favorite color (other than white) so I love St Patrick's. I'm sure you won't see this til morning as I'm sure you're passed out with a trail of green beer nearby! :)
ReplyDeleteOhhhh you made me laugh out loud. I was so admiring all of your wonderful Irish collection-- and then "he" appears!!! So funny--
ReplyDeleteIt's just wonderful to hear from you-- thank you for taking the time-- truly...
Vicki
Oh, all your items are so pretty, love the handmade card. And, I love your hunk of a leprechaun!! ♥
ReplyDeleteSweet card! So glad you have some shamrocks, they look so pretty!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,

I'm sure your hero would have looked exactly like that in that costume. What a spoilsport. LOL XO Laura
ReplyDeleteLove all of your Irishness! Yesterday, I finally got my Valentines decor put away and looked at my St. Patricks Day stuff and decided to grab the Easter box instead! Fun seeing yours though!
ReplyDeleteWell, you could send back the costume and just keep the model....just sayin'! Love all your Irish lovelies. Erin go bragh! xo
ReplyDeleteDiana, Happy Belated St. Patty to you and your Hero and tell him he isn't old enough to talk back to his Nana. If your clothes are on the end of the bed, that better be what you put on! My Irish Eyes are Smiling just now..Happy Wednesday..Judy
ReplyDeleteI seem to be working backwards on my emails...but yes good things come to those who wait and I am so lucky to be Irish!!! Send me that leprechaun cuz oh I DO BELIEVE!!!!
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm late catching up on blogs, but Happy Belated St. Patrick's Day! Glad you found your shamrock. Love all your Irish things too. And what's this about YourHero NOT wanting to put on his darling outfit??? Well, some people just don't appreciate you. Lol!
ReplyDeleteToo funny Diana, I love the leprechaun ensemble and the leprechaun in it. I am married to my Irishman and he never lets anyone forget he is Irish either. Now, he is half English yet he lays no claim to his English side nor do his children who are not only one fourth English but half Polish (on their mother's side) and only one fourth Irish. Yet they will say they are Irish with no mention to their "other" heritages.
