DOING DISNEY- And It's A Wrap!

The truth is that there is so much
that goes on at Disney World that you
just can't even begin to tell it all.

MyHero and I only went two days.
We spent one day at Epcot
and one day at the
Magic Kingdom.
The kids went five days.
God bless 'em.

We had a wonderful time at
THE MAGIC KINGDOM.
We started with brunch at the
Crystal Palace here
Gotta love old Pooh Bear.
He's always got a smile on his face.
Lulu still smiles riding the big carousel.
Ria smiles hugging Tigger
Doesn't Eeyore have sad eyes?
I have always thought our
SweetCheeks has sad eyes, too.
Although as you can see
she is pretty smiley here!
All three girls were mesmerized by
The Little Mermaid.
I think the men liked this exhibit, too
So, folks, that's about all the Disney
I am gonna bore you with.
Here we are headed out.
That would be
Minnie (Naomi)  and Goofy
you see here.
Yeah- wouldn't you just love to take
HIM home from Disney World?
it was really a great time!

Tomorrow I just MIGHT share a bit
of the road trip my daughter and I
enjoyed on the way home.
Well-except for driving in a whiteout
but I won't mention that.

  1. I always love Disney World. We went in 2009 for 5 days and still didn't see it all. All our family went together and that makes it a little harder to see everything. Your photo's are really good of the girls! Goofy looks like he has a secret by the expression he has on his face.

  4. Haven't been to Disney in 15 years...my boys requested a gift of a Disney trip when they finished college...I would love to do it, but paying for college was gift enough.

  5. Such wonderful pics! I know the girls had such a good time there. It seems like every year, Disney adds new attractions that makes you want to go back. Smart marketing. :)

  14. Such fun and making memories at Disney that will be remembered a lifetime. It's been over 30 years since we were there and I'll always remember my son, who was 5 at the time, kissing Mickey Mouse. Glad you all had fun and yes, I'm sure the guys loved the mermaid. lol!

  16. you have to admit, it's pretty hard, not to smile, when in Disney World. ,-)

we went years ago. after the kids were grown, of course. -evil chuckle- truth is, we couldn't afford to take the kids, while they were kids. not till empty nest time, could we afford it. :-)

ohshoooot! white-out on drive home. bummmmmmmmer!

    hugs....

  17. Love your photo share. What I would really get a kick out of is a tour of the underground workings at Disney World. An entire city below with vehicles, sanitation and complete access to everything. I am fascinated by it, wish they allowed private tours down under.

    Vera

  18. Disney World really is one of my favorite places on earth. You really do get caught up in the magic and it's good to step away from the real world now and then. I can't wait to experience this with another generation of little ones! So glad you had a chance to get away, now back to the real world of cold and snow - blah!!!

  23. Hi Diana, So glad you made so many happy memories at DW. We went many many years ago and loved it. So much to do and see; much better than DL. I'm praying that you are returning to your normal healthy self. Today is a slower day for me-I think I am pushing myself too much. So I took a little nap this afternoon.
    Hugs to you.

  38. I like the goofy part! LOL- you are so bad. I hope you share more photos. These are so much fun.
I think a trip there would kill me now...but would have loved to have taken the kids back when they were a little older.
We went in the summer, but a trip right about now would be wonderful. I think coming back to the cold would be hard to deal with. If I got there, I might just stay.
