We all had a busy weekend.
Family visiting.
A Packer Game.
A quick trip to Door County
and one little girl
that spent the day on the couch.
AND because Mom has to work today
Nana gets to spend the day with her little
SWEET CHEEKS.
So, while SOMEONE is NAPPING
I hope to finish
THE SEWING ROOM!
AND--IF I get that done I will
show you the pictures tomorrow.
IF I DON'T get it done I may have to
show you some pictures of
Oh- Look!
It's my favorite Super Hero!
Nice Cape!!!!
Shhhh--- Don't tell him.
MyHero thinks he is
SUPERMAN!
Somehow that cape just seems to be lacking
a certain something~
Ummmm..
Now THERE'S A CAPE FOR YOU!
Do you think if MyHero got a pair of
BOOTS like that he would look
more like a
REAL SUPER HERO?
Have a GREAT Monday!
Hope she feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteWell, I am not sure if the boots will help or not, ha ha
Aw I hope she's better quickly. As soon as school starts they seem to catch stuff. Sometimes when my super hero comes out in the morning I say "what"? LOL. Seems like the muscles change shape as they age! Perhaps it's the special suit that makes it all right!
ReplyDeleteI hope Sweet Cheeks is feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you should try getting your hero a cape like Henry has, and see how it goes. :)
it might take a bit more than the boots, lol, so sorry to see sweet cheeks is under the weather, hoe she feels better soon!
ReplyDeleteLook at those dark circles, under her eyes...... Resting at Nana's will perk her up, I'm sure. Don't want to let children get run down, especially at this time of the year. "Bugs" run rampant, in schools, with school just opening, etc. Catch sniffles and nip 'm in the bud.
ReplyDeleteHow dooooo you manage to catch your husband, in such "compromising" positions??? LOL!!!!!! Betcha' you just whip out your cell phone and snap him, before he even knows you are in the room!!!!! -evil giggggles-
Well, he is a good sport!
Mmmmm... He DOES know you post these pics of him, doesn't he???????? Doesn't he????? ,-)
Tessa~
Dear little Sweet Cheeks! But somehow she manages to still look pretty and winsome even with the sniffles!
ReplyDeleteSuper Hero - and every other grandpa that I know of - will break out his best moves when toy batteries need replacing and sinks clogged with Play Dough call for assistance!
AW, I can see sweet cheeks doesn't feel good. Hope she slept good last night and has a better day today. Yea, those 'capes' we have in our home just don't quite do it......and it's that time of year.
ReplyDeleteHey, you never know....some spandex and boots can really make a difference (sometimes for the good and many times for the not so good) haha :)
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry your Sweet Cheeks is not feeling well :( With you as her nurse she will be feeling better in no time! Have fun in your sewing room - can't wait to see it!
Sending along healthy vibes for Sweet Cheeks!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that Door County Coffee!
xo Nellie
Pamper your Sweet Cheeks. Sorry she isn't feeling well. Oh the germs they pick up at school! We rarely have colds since I retired from teaching 6 years ago. Maybe when your sewing room is ready you can whip up a new cape for your Hero. I am really curious about the story behind the one he has draped over his shoulders. ;) Have a good day! Summer is back down here! Think the weekend was just a big tease. Hugs, Linda@Wetcreek Blog
ReplyDeleteGet well soon Sweetcheeks! I am looking forward to seeing your sewing room....maybe Superman can help you get finished quicker....lol! Hugs, Penny
ReplyDeletePoor Sweet Cheeks. Take good care of her. And your super hero is better than super man. Why? Because he is REAL. You can count on him. Superman is a fictional character that can't really come to your aid when you really need someone. It's nice to imagine - but it's even nicer when someone is really there to assist you on a day to day basis.
ReplyDeleteI hope she feels better soon. It's been a wicked school start-up with germs and allergies already at our house. Loving the cape and smiling at the boot reference.
ReplyDeleteYour little grand looks sad not feeling well, but Nana Diana is to her rescue! Husbands are our super hero's sans cape (maybe on Halloween?)
ReplyDeleteTake care of your precious grand, sending healthy air kisses and wishes.
XO,
Vera
Hope little Sweet Cheeks feels better, I know she is in good hands with her Nana and Superman.
ReplyDeleteAnything's possible, so they say!!
ReplyDeleteBlessings and prayers to poor Little Sweet Cheeks.
I had to laugh, even sick she's a regular little fashionesta with her red curly hair adornment.
My boys always loved having capes to play with when they were little. Last year, my oldest was the drum major of the band, and he told the director he wanted a cape! (didn't happen).
ReplyDeletePoor sweet cheeks. I'm sure there's some ice cream in her near future.
Hi Diana, so sorry sweet cheeks is not feeling good today. I know you will take good care of her. You are too much and funny with the photo of your husband and the cape! Take care.
ReplyDeleteJulie
Ha-ha! It never hurts to dream......Superheroes come disguised sometimes (think Clark Kent) Hope your little Sweet Cheeks feels better soon. Poor little thing..... they always get a bug when they first go back to school, don't they? I'm sure she will be very pampered. xo Karen
ReplyDeletePoor Sweet Cheeks! She doesn't look very happy. I'm sure she is pleased to be spending time with you while she recuperates. I've been hearing about so many kids who are sick already and school has just started! Hmmm, do we want to know why your Hero is wearing a cape? I only look like that when I am coloring my hair. : )
ReplyDeleteI hope SC feels better soon.

Awww...poor Sweet Cheeks. Hope she's feeling better by now. I had a doll like that when I was little. I still remember how I named her Heather Marie. Funny how we remember little details like that. :)
ReplyDeleteI remember those days of my girls being sick and Mamaw taking care of them while I had to be somewhere. They loved those times even though they were not feeling good. Nothing like a grandma's love. I hope she's feeling much better and I can't wait to see your sewing room...you know I love to sew so I love seeing how other's sewing rooms look! lol
