PICK YOUR FAVORITE - Father's Day Table

How often do we set the table with the
MEN IN OUR LIVES
in mind?

Me?
Not often!
For me it is about making the table PRETTY.
MyHero?  Not so much into pretty
(unless it looks like a woman-lol-
Hey-he might be OLD but he is NOT DEAD YET)

Anyway,
I thought it would be fun to choose
a masculine setting for
FATHER'S DAY!

You get to choose- the table and the male
you would like sitting there with you---
hubby, son, dad, best friend,
neighbor, mailman, undertaker--
you get the idea---your choice.

So---off we go~

#1
Tie A Yellow Bow
(into a napkin)

#2-
NO BOOS FOR BLUES
and no booze for Daddy either

#3
MAD FOR NAVY PLAID
Or just MAD period cuz they forgot Dad's spoon...

#4
NOT TEED OFF YET
for the hacker who can't wait to leave the table and go golfing

#5
NO CRABBY DADS ALLOWED
Crabby Dads will be assigned their own table in the corner

#6
Beachy Bobbers
And I am not even going to make a Boobie joke..

And- LAST but not LEAST
#7
MISTER MUSTACHE
For the man that wishes he could grow facial hair-
Okay- I lied!
That was NOT the last one.
This one is!

#8
Captain Of His Own Destiny
For the Dad that wants to eat with his 50 closest friends.
Please note- this one comes complete with server~
So-There you have it ladies.
Play along if you like...
If you DON'T like we can sit you
at the corner with CRABBY DAD...
and you know how much fun THAT will be!

Have a great Friday!

  1. No crabby dads allowed over here either! He's outnumbered by 3 daughters and a crabby wife - even the dog is a girl! So I
am voting for the first -yellow bow tie! - table! What a cute idea!

  2. Since school has let out, Chris has a hammer and a shovel permanently attached to his hands. Our themed table would need to have his garage and gardening clutter all over it. Just kidding, but he is a man with a zillion plans right now. I'm in a beachy mood and so I'm going with #6. Love the blue colors.

  3. Diana, Number 6 , is the one I like the best. Kind of manly, but not too fussy. I would want my Teddy with me. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  4. I like #3 best of all, but please include a bagpiper and kilt-clad companion. What time should I expect you to show up? This IS a giveaway, right?? ;-) LOL

  8. I like that last one - but since we don't have 50 friends we'd like to buy dinner for let's go with #3. But - why weren't there no paper plate options? Really - someone should come up with a classy way to set a table with paper plates.

  10. what a great idea, I think my fav is beachy bobbers, but the effort would be lost on my man, he would never see past the food, if I asked him what the table looked like he would never remember, lol, have a great weekend, lovely lady,

  11. Beach Bobbers without a doubt! The hubs and I met at the beach, so he MIGHT appreciate this table setting! I''d like him sitting there, and my son, too -- there's room for three, right? :)

  21. I love number 3. Simple but pretty. I guess I pick my husband. If he qualifies as he is a dad to 2 furry creatures. Our dogs.

  22. Beautiful ideas and very inspiring my friend! I love the yellow rimmed dishes in the first one... although, the crab one is a fun one for the Summer!

  23. My hubby would love #4! Since he's the one with whom I would be seated, that will be my pick, though it is a close call between this one and #3. xo Nellie

  24. Love the #1 - so cute with the bow tie! But the golf one is cute also.

  25. I like Beachy Bobbers! The second one is cute, but I'm not into the mustache thing that seems so popular these days! I think you and I would have to fight over who gets to sit closest to Robert Redford, 'cuz he is the one who I would love seated at my table!!

  26. My husband would like the golf one best I think. Cute ideas. You're right, I often set the table girly/romantic. I'm actually not sure he notices either way!

  27. I vote for #4 "Not teed off yet." Love that one! My hubby loves to play golf, so I know he'd like it. And aside from my hubby, I would like to have Nicolas Cage seated next to me. Get right on that, will you? ;)

OK, now down to business I have to go with # 1 , cuz, its soooo bright and cheery! I would add some type of mustache decor that my teens are so into right now! This is sooo fun! I enjoy reading all the comments! Happy weekend , ENJOY!!! <3

  29. Can I choose #2 and #6 and name it No boos for the Beachy Blues? I like them both however, you are so strict on your rules that I will choose only 1 and that will be #6 Beachy Bobbers :) Have a beachy day!!

  30. Ohoooooo......I think I will go with #1 and invite Arron Rogers....YEP!!! Husband can come too of course. I suspect there would be some greenery for the center piece, so Packer colors would be the decoration...lol...lol....lol..!!!! Can hardly wait for Football season (but then that means winter is coming quick!!!) and I am not sure I saw spring yet, cause summer is next week!!!!

  36. Hands down number two, but six is fun, too.

  37. #3 Mad for Navy plaid. Love the color scheme and the cute napkin holders. And, who doesn't love a good masculine plaid???

    ReplyDelete
  38. I like #3 and for my younger brother, no. 4 but frankly, I don't think men care at all. They are interested in tasty food not looks.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I knew I needed to visit you for a good laugh! :) Diana, you crack me up girl!! I just love you. Believe it or not I like the "crabby dad" #5. and if I have to, I will sit in the corner with him should he need company. I wouldn't want him to be all alone, especially on Father's Day. :)
    That table is quite unique.
Have a beautiful rest of the day.

  49. I love the Navy plaid...but I think it's because of those gorgeous roses as the center piece. Does that count? :))
