A Wee Bit 'O Spring In The Front Hall

I was so busy yesterday with some
projects that I almost forgot to take
pictures for a post this morning.
But, never fear, I can always
come up with something.

So-here you have it-
SOMETHING!
Something Springy and lovely
in the front hall.
Sorry- I  know it is a tad out of focus-
Kind of like my eyes in the morning.

The bottom has an Irish greeting
for St. Patrick's Day.
Overall, it looks like this.
~Erin Go Bragh~
I am adding this after someone
commented they had to look it up.
You know what THAT means
 someone that is
NOT IRISH reads my blog!!
Whoo Hooo
Anyway-
Erin Go Bragh means
Ireland Forever
MyHero said he thinks it looks like a
FUNERAL ARRANGEMENT

I told him THAT COULD BE arranged!.
And YOU know what I mean by that!

  2. I love it. I've seen my share of funeral arrangements (my parents own a funeral home) and I don't think it looks like one. Happy Friday!

  3. I know I have some Irish blood, but never even thought of St. Pat's Day but of wearing green. Didn't want any pinching! So I had to consult Wiki for the Erin Go Bragh. Beautiful display. Linda@Wetcreek Blog

  7. Love the green! I am part Irish, part English and German! It is sunny and going to be warmer here today. We will be heading 80 miles to the city today so that I can look for window dressings/drapes. I will be wearing my sunglasses today, yea!!!!! Go green!

  16. Don't apologize for fuzzy pics, not a bit. I love, love, love some fuzziness in pics. Especially of flowers. And I can't always 'capture' them, in that lovely gauzzzzzzzzy way.

In other words, embrace any gauzzzzzzzzzy-effect photos, you take.

    :-)))))

  44. You know he's right...it does look like a funeral basket. But those are the most beautiful arrangements, so maybe you should just take it as a compliment. I love it- looks like spring there.

    1. Well, I'm told I have some Irish in me, but obviously not enough, because I didn't know what that meant either! LOL! I can see why your husband thought it looked liked a funeral arrangement. It looks like it could be in a church because of the candles mixed with the flowers and it's a big arrangement. I think it's very pretty though!

  46. LOL! Your Hero cracks me up! Hey, maybe your flower arrangement will cause the snow to melt and spring to come! Let's hope so! Hugs, Leena

  57. LOL oh my gosh - I wish I could be a leprechaun hiding in the petals of your arrangement and chuckling all day at the funnies you and "your hero" exchange! Funeral arrangement? Naw! It's a pretty and fresh and a much needed burst of spring!
And if my own "hero" were to make that comment, I'd say the usual, "Don't even bother picking a fight with me - you'll never win!" He knows that!
