The reason for the
NO DRUNKS ALLOWED?
I ran into someone the other day
that said they were still
HUNG OVER FROM NEW YEAR'S EVE!
Seriously?
Personally, I can't imagine.
I "think" they meant that they were just
exhausted after the holidays---but--
who knows!!
So- here we go.
It's January- a "downer" for some of us.
But---CHEER UP!!!!
You've been invited to a wonderful dinner
with a good friend.
You would put on a great looking outfit
and pick which table to sit at~
Ready?
TABLE #1
WOODLAND-PARTY ANIMALS INVITED
TABLE #2
JANUARY BLUES- SPRING IS COMING
TABLE #3
HELLO SNOWFLAKE!
TABLE #4
BLACK & WHITE ALL OVER
TABLE #5
JUST SO SIMPLE AND SWEET
TABLE #6
WOOD YOU LIKE TO SIT HERE?
TABLE #7
OH DEAR DEER, DEAR
You know the routine.
Pick ONE--YES ONE--table
to plunk your butt at.
No complaints allowed!
And DON'T ask me what's
ON THE MENU
because it is NOT my party!
Got it?
As you know- I don't like winter
SO
You will see me immediately
when you get there......
I'll be the one with the frozen expression!
Oh My, these are all so lovely!! It's another tough decision. Of course I need to get over this bug I have before anyone will want to sit near me. I love #1, with all the cute woodland creatures, etc., but it seems so crowded there's not much room for food! LOL. I really like them all, and my fevered brain is having a hard time deciding. It's between 1, 2, 4, and 6. LOL. eeny meeny miny mo...Oh what the heck. I'll go with #1 and enjoy all the little critters staring at me while I eat. Why not? I'm a girl of the woods. Now, where is that beautiful Marilyn doll sitting? I doubt she'll be at THIS table. LOL. She is very pretty!!
ReplyDeleteoKAY, BACK TO BED PAM.
Hi, all the tables are lovely but I think my favourite is table 6.
ReplyDeleteI’m loving #2 or #4!
ReplyDeleteI’m on #TeamSpring…π·
Have a sweet day friend!
Hughugs
Donna
Number 4 for me!
ReplyDeleteI regret I can not attend since I only own leggings and t-shirts and would look out of place IF they even let me in. If someone held a gun to my head and forced me to shop for decent clothing, I would pick number 2.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness Diana, you really outdid yourself this time. It’s going to be hard to pick just one. Wish I could go out to more than one luncheon. But…… #3 (just caught my eye). Especially since we haven’t had *SNOW* that amounted to anything this winter!
ReplyDeleteBlessing,
Gert
Table #6!!!
ReplyDeleteI may not be drunk when I arrive, but I might be when I leave.
Yes! Hangovers are more rough the older you get.
Cheers! xoxo
How fun is this...I choose table number FIVE.... Simple and sweet....A casual lunch with friends...lovely florals too!
ReplyDeleteI've been feeling very woodsy lately...must be the color green...so I'm going with table 6. As long as my glass doesn't keep getting refilled, I promise not to get drunk. Lol. I'll even dress in non paint splattered clothes.
ReplyDeleteLol.
Cecilia
Wow, this is a tough one. I'm torn between 3, 4, and 6. I'll go with #3 since it's so cheerful, and I am fully embracing winter.....Oh, wait, I'm in Florida, where it's easy to embrace winter from afar. I'm afraid I may be alone at the tables, since everyone else is ready for spring!
ReplyDeleteOh Diana, Why do I have to choose just one??!! Ok, I choose #3, since red is my favorite color! ❤️❄️❤️
ReplyDeleteYou really have made it impossible to choose just one! But I'll sit at #5...it's my birthday this week so maybe you will join me. I like pinecones so I'll just pick one up in the forest and put it on the table! hahahaha! I love those flowers BEST! Thanks for the fun, Diane
ReplyDeleteWell this is a hard one between 4 and 7. Do I go with more simplistic or more colorful and detailed…. Hmmm…. Ugh… okay I’m going with #7 since I have plenty of white outside and I desire color!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know you had a doll made into you!
ReplyDeleteThis is hard - my favorite color is aqua, but this time I want table #3!
Table #3 is my fave -- "Hello, Snowflake!" Bring on the champagne and keep it flowing!
ReplyDeleteSherry says we will sit at #3. The color jumped out, plus she doesn't mind snow flakes as long as they are NOT cold. Also looks like good company. But then there would be good company at every table.
ReplyDeleteBe looking for the 'frozen one' DRESSED! ;-) Love sent your way, stay warm and SAFE!
Sherry & jack in a cool Florida!
I think I'd like to be at table #6. It looks long, like there'd be lots of lively conversation. Somebody's boun to have pass a bottle beneath that table if not out in the open.
ReplyDeleteI choose #3 Hello Snowflake. What a cheery table we'll have! Time to say hello to everyone and catch up with them.
ReplyDeleteJanuary blues!!!
ReplyDeleteI think it's like to sit at table #1. The little bears are cute and the napkins look like burritos. I like burritos. They make my insides warm! π€£ Hugs!
ReplyDeleteDiana, they are all lovely. I love #6. Wood you like to sit here. I love the wood look and the title is darling plus the chairs look comfy. I don't like sitting for hours in an uncomfortable chair. xoxo
ReplyDeleteThis is a hard one. I would like to sit at the Deer table love how sweet those little deer are. Have a great day. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the table at #6, but I think I'll have to go for #1 ~ love the critters!
ReplyDelete...how about table #5, I'm just a simple and sweet guy!
ReplyDeleteDue to recent events, I should probably pick the Woodland party animals table. Bears! As always you did a great job. Choices are difficult. Thanks for hosting. Are you going to show up? Hugs
ReplyDeleteDefinitely number 1. Love those polar bears and the moss!
ReplyDeleteI want to sit at the head of table #1. I love woodland creatures, as long as they don't eat me.
ReplyDelete#2, January Blues
ReplyDelete#4 Please. Simply beautiful. And, why yes, I would love the wine!π
ReplyDeleteSince Winter's my favorite season (*ducking* ... please don't hit me!), it's no contest. #3 for me!
ReplyDeleteI will go to table number two. I have a feeling that the animals might be on the menu. What better way to show what you will be eating?
ReplyDeleteTable 2. I'm a sucker for any kind of blue.
ReplyDeleteGotta be #4 for me.
ReplyDeleteNumber 7 please Diana, and I guarantee I will be sober :-)
ReplyDelete#4 is my favorite. :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the black and white #4 and second is Just so Simple and Sweet #5!
ReplyDeleteI pick #5...the chairs don't look very comfortable, but I'd be willing to tough it out for a seat at that pretty table. xo
ReplyDeleteI like #2, nope-#4, nope-#5. Never mind, I like them all! Sorry, I'm a little hungover from Thanksgiving.
ReplyDelete#4 because it looks the least wintry. Our daffodils are getting ready to bloom so I may make it through the rest of the winter. xo Laura
ReplyDeleteNumber 6 is my first like, and I say first because I like all of them.
ReplyDeleteFor January, and because I love winter and natural - #6 gets my vote.
ReplyDeleteThanks, D - always love these when you post them. Hope you are feeling better.
Hugs. ♥
Oh my, I'm really having a hard time deciding. I like so many of them. I think I'll park myself at table number 4 though. I promise not to get drunk so long as you aren't serving any alcohol. If you do decide to serve it I won't guarantee anything. I'm a lightweight and it doesn't take much for me to get trashed.
ReplyDeleteGive me a seat at Hello Snowflake but they all are attractive. January can often be a downer for sure but I've been a pretty "happy camper" this January. Blessings abundant!
ReplyDeleteWell, I’ll choose #3! Never knew you weren’t a fan of winter. You’ve definitely experienced lots of winter where you are!
ReplyDeleteNumber 3 for sure for me. I enjoy the snow and red is my favorite color.
ReplyDeleteTable 4 (black & white) for me, please, and I will correct the table setting to have the knife on the right with the spoon before anyone else sits down and notices the error of the hostess' ways!! What was she thinking? These are always fun!! xo
ReplyDelete#4
ReplyDeleteHello! Well, I am going to grab a seat at table number 3! I adore it! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHey Diane! Oh, I like table #4. It's simple but so pretty! I am disappointed as I do not see food! I guess the food is being catered in!
ReplyDeleteHope all is well and Happy New Year!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
I'll choose that pretty black and white table #4!
ReplyDeleteParty π table #2 looks inviting and I think the teal color reminds me of the beach!
ReplyDeleteWhat time does it start??
I would like to sit at Table #4 please.....and I'll have a lovely glass of Sauvignon Blanc....preferably from New Zealand.
ReplyDeleteNice tables . . .
ReplyDelete#4, looks cozy, small, comfy,
I lam in the mood for a small gathering,
I can see bj here . . .
Please seat me at table #2 - spring is coming! Love the colors at this table plus the thought of the promise of spring!
ReplyDeletexoxo
I always knew you were a doll, Diana!
ReplyDeleteAll the tables are great, but, I'll pick table #7, please, dear.
Diana,
ReplyDeleteThey are all pretty but the one that caught my eye is Number 3...I am a lover of the color of red!! Thanks so much for stopping by!! Stay safe, healthy and happy!!
Hugs,
Debbie
Got here as fast as I could! ::runs in, plops down at table #6, looks confused:: Diana, did you chop down a tree??
ReplyDeletePlease sit me at Table #3 Hello Snowflake as it's such a pretty winter table! I like the diamond snowflake on the plate.
ReplyDeleteTable #5 would be my choice, Diana. I really don't think it is as pretty as some of the others but the reason I picked it is because I don't think whoever would join me there would mind me showing up in my PJ's. These days that is a fancy dress for me.Something sweet and simple, like flannel..Happy Thursday..xxoJudy
ReplyDeleteHi, #4 for me.
ReplyDeleteI like #5 but they all do look lovely Diana. I’m just content with the simple things ❤️π I’m so glad January is almost finished and February is a short month, so Spring will soon be here! We can make it π
ReplyDeleteI will sit at TABLE #2 JANUARY BLUES- SPRING IS COMING and I am excited:) HUGS!
ReplyDeleteHope I'm not too late to vote. I would love to be a table #1. I can't resist little woodland animals! Thanks for this, Diana. Always fun and a great way to get people together! -Jenn
ReplyDeleteYou've presented some great tables -- and a tough choice. But I have to go with #1, Woodland-Party Animals. Not sure if it's the woodland theme, or the party animals!! But a winner for sure.
ReplyDeleteThis was not even hard. Table FOUR for the pirate. I don't care what's on the menu so long as it isn't brussels sprouts. And I don't have to worry about hangovers because I'm a teetotaler. Except when it comes to cake. There had better be plenty of cake. xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh my ...
ReplyDeleteYou don't make it easy LOL :)
Scrolling up and down it was a tie between number three and number seven.
Number seven won in the end.
I'm happy to bring a big tureen of soup with me, goes down well in cold weather.
Keep smiling and keep warm.
All the best Jan
This time I'd like to sit at table #5, please...it really is simple and sooo sweet π Love these posts!!
ReplyDeleteOh my! Table #2 for me... the delightful teal theme is gorgeous! And since we've had days of fog here, it will be delightful to look forward to a meal around this beautiful table :)
ReplyDeleteI love table 6 but if you run out of room I am more than happy to sit at table 3.
ReplyDeleteLove them all, but #4 is my fave!
