I'll be busy collecting
the ingredients today.
Oh- Look!
THIS will save me some work.
These are already
CHOCOLATE COVERED!

MyHero is in for a
WONDERFUL SURPRISE!
ps-this is not a sponsored ad-
just something I found for fun.
The cupcakes look good...chocolate covered grasshoppers, not so much lol.
ReplyDeleteMy sweet Aunt Mary used to drink Grasshoppers at cocktail time. Great memories...
ReplyDeleteI prefer my cupcakes non-crunchy. Ha! They look delicious! (Not the grasshoppers!)
ReplyDeleteDiana, I love chocolate but not on grasshoppers. LOL. Your cupcakes look good . You know John's not going to eat those. :) How SC doing? I could see her having a cupcake. Hug that girl for me. Blessings, xoxo, love, Susie
ReplyDeleteChocolate covered grasshopper? you mean actual grasshopper?
ReplyDeleteOkay, I do enjoy grasshoppers. I love to watch them. BUT, BUT no, I ain't thinking chocolate covered grasshoppers.
ReplyDeleteHOWEVER, the cupcakes look delicious.
GREEN your way,
Sherry & jack
Yikes...you wouldn't...or would you? Maybe you would...I guess I don't know you that well, and now maybe I'm glad you don't live too close...you might be one of those friends who gives you moose poop and chocolate covered grasshoppers, and other odd things...and put pink flamingos in my yard. I already have one of those kinds of friends here, so I don't really need another...but just kidding...if you were nearby, it would be a hoot, I have no doubt!!! Have a blessed day!!
ReplyDeleteYum on the cupcakes. Chocolate grasshoppers hmmmm? Have a great rest of the week.
ReplyDeleteHugs
Kris
Goodness! I've eaten a few grasshoppers in my
ReplyDeletetime...Crispy chewy, and full of protein...Yum!
Simple really..
Freeze your cleaned grasshoppers for an hour or two.
Spread them out on a paper towel or a cookie sheet.
Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C) and cook the grasshoppers
for 1-2 hours until they're nice and dry and crunchy...
Job done..

HeHe! That's that then...Think l'd better 'hop it'...
Oh, those look good but I think I'll pass on the grasshopper even if it is chocolate covered.
ReplyDeleteMint+chocolate-grasshoppers=yummy!
ReplyDeleteYum on the cupcakes, but not on the grasshoppers! LOL
ReplyDeleteMmmm, extra protein!
ReplyDeleteOh those cupcakes look so yummy...but I'm not sure about a grasshopper. Perhaps that's one ingredient that could be left out. LOL!!!!
ReplyDeleteThey would probably be delicious if I didn't know what they were, and if that was dark chocolate and pecans with it. Lol
ReplyDeleteThose cupcakes look wonderful and perfect for St. Patrick's Day! We try to have every thing green on that day. Green cabbage, green jello, now I'll have to add this green treat too!
ReplyDeleteThat's one way to get your chocolate! But if we're having a party, let me bring the frog legs or better still....gator bites! hahaha! Thanks for the FUN! I'm so ready to do some happy blogging. I'm working on a Thankful Thursday post right now! Thanks for standing be me this past week. You've been a true friend! Sweet hugs, Diane lavender dreams too
ReplyDeleteYUM, except for the grasshoppers:) Enjoy your day dear friend, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteThose cupcakes looks so good but don't think I want to eat a grasshopper chocolate covered or not!
ReplyDeleteI bet that chocolate is on the crunchy side!
ReplyDeleteThose cup cakes do look and sound delicious.
Your hero is always surprised by your wonderful love for him, never a dull moment. :-)
Mmmm... these cupcakes look scrumptious (without the grasshoppers). Although, my husband and I teach the Senior High Class at church...maybe I should make these WITH the grasshoppers just for them {{smiles}}
ReplyDeleteHappy day to you, my friend! Hugs!
These cupcakes would be perfect for St Patricks Day! And Ill eat almost anything with chocolate on them. Ha
ReplyDeleteLisa
Hmmm, not so sure about the chocolate covered grasshoppers but the cupcakes look delicious. Have fun on St.Patrick's Day.
ReplyDeleteOh...I think your Hero would be quite surprised by the grasshoppers...LOL!
ReplyDeleteHi Diana, oh the cupcakes sound really good but the chocolate grasshoppers? That is too strange for me! LOL. I know you grandkids will just love the cupcakes. I too love to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. :)
ReplyDeleteCupcakes, yum! The rest of it, chocolate covered or not, 🤭
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Cupcakes yes, grasshoppers no. :)
ReplyDeleteThe cupcakes look yummy but you may keep the grasshoppers for yourself!! LOL Reminded me of the last time the locusts hit when we lived in Virginia and there were recipes on the news in case you wanted to eat some of them. No thanks!!
ReplyDeleteDiana, I give up. I can’t find any grasshoppers anywhere. But if those are chocolate covered grasshoppers, I just might send off for some! I have been wanting to bake something really bad, but then I would eat it.
ReplyDeleteSend me the cupcakes - and I'll let you have the real chocolate grasshoppers - I am just so generous!
ReplyDeleteChocolate covered grasshoppers can't do it. Cupcakes are amazing. Would love them for my Irish lad.
ReplyDeleteCindy
Your posts always make me smile and I was sooooo in need of a smile today:) I will take one of your cupcakes...but hold the insect!!! Thank you so much for dropping by my blog and leaving such a sweet comment...it really means a lot.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, these look YUMMY! Do they have mint in them? Great for St. Patrick's Day. You know, I love anything chocolate. : )
ReplyDelete~Sheri

ReplyDeleteSomehow I don’t think that would be as much fun as cashing your own and dipping them in chocolate. Pretty cupcakes they look good without that grasshoppers. Crazy lady. Enjoy them
ReplyDeleteI love cupcakes, sweet Diana! I don't think I am much for grasshoppers! Eeekkkk! You are one fun lady!
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Nancy
They sure are going to be pretty with the FAKE 'hoppers though. ;) Let us know how everyone enjoys them!!
ReplyDeleteHAHA....Grasshopper cupcake, loving the fact they are choc. Yep, I love my choc but then again, I love sweets! Your hero will love those.
ReplyDeleteI just have to wonder who would possibly eat chocolate-covered grasshoppers 😱 now those grasshopper cupcakes look delicious! Maybe you could find a rubber grasshopper and dip it in chocolate and pretend you made the real thing LOL 😂
ReplyDeleteYUM! Uh...gag. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe cupcakes look amazing. I have eaten a chocolate covered grasshopper. They are crunchy and sweet. It was a dare, I won't be doing it again.
ReplyDeleteLove the cupcakes but not the grasshoppers. Hey, you might have just given me a good idea. I'll try them on my family. LOL
ReplyDeleteThose look fun! The kids will love them. I don't know why but I just now got your emailed post. Should have gotten it yesterday.
