I haven't done one of these in a while
so I thought it would be fun.
I found several
WINTER TABLE SETTINGS
to show you here.
Your duty is to pick the one you like best
and VOTE on it.
I know SOME of you have a hard
time picking just one but please try!
I did a little research and the first time that
the word tablescape came into use
(as best they can trace it)
was on Sandra Lee's show
on the Food Network.
Who knew?
I always thought the word
TABLESCAPE was coined by
Martha Stewart herself.
Anyway-
Without further rambling here are your choices.

Okay! Now it is up to you!
Which table would YOU like to sit at?
I'll provide the food and you provide the company.
I think we will ALL pass on #9
even as pretty as it is!
I'll give you the tally in a day or so..
I am still working on my son
with a very exciting
NEW BUSINESS VENTURE
and want to share that with you soon.
Just trying to get all of our ducks
in a row and the media end of it set up.
So--there you have it--
without a doubt #5, it just looks winter~
ReplyDelete#7 please. Am I a boring traditionalist? -Jenn
ReplyDeleteDiana, I think number one . I love how that long table. I would have loved that growing up. :) From what I have learned about keeping ducks in a row...Linda Chapman at Linda's Life Journal taught me...you better have some cracked corn to offer. LOL. Blessings and good luck wishes to you, xoxo, love, Susie
ReplyDelete#9, but I am not sitting outside...bring it in!
ReplyDeleteNumber two hands down; love the simplicity! Excited to hear about the new venture. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed Sunday sweet lady.
xoxo
I'm going with #5 -- Shiver Me Silver! As for #9, one restaurant in Winnipeg always had an outdoor lunch every January called the Polar Bear Luncheon. It was always a crapshoot whether the day would be mild (just under 0) or freezing (down to -30). It was staggeringly popular.
ReplyDelete#1 for me! The chairs look comfy and that’s important at my age! I really liked #4 but no backs to that bench and is a deal breaker for me! This is so much fun!
ReplyDelete#6 gets my vote....aqua and red just say "HAPPY" for me!
ReplyDeleteWarm hugs,
Carol
#2 for me please! #9 is nice, but there is no way I'm going to sit out there in the cold to eat! Always love these--so fun!
ReplyDeleteI'd like a reservation for Table 4 please!
ReplyDelete#9
ReplyDeleteI choose barnside outside today lol,,to be honest my table rarely see's anything so elaborate, at this moment it has a puzzle half completed, watercolor paints with watercolor teacup water (precious elixir ) the tea pot from lunch and the grocery flyers for Sunday sales!!! Sad sad sad lol,, thanks for the treat to my eyes!!
ReplyDeleteI would like a seat at #1 please! I need the cuteness and fun of this table to cheer me up this cold winter!
ReplyDeleteNumber 2. For some reason, blue dishes are the prettiest to me. You know, the word TABLESCAPE I never liked. I don't know why they didn't stick with the original "table setting." That was lovely. I hope your business venture turns out just the way you want, Diana.
ReplyDelete~Sheri
Number 1. It says winter, but it feels warm and those bears are too cute!
ReplyDeleteDid anybody say #6, Aqua and Red? I love those colors but I would take away that giant red arrangement in the center and replace it with a smaller red floral one. Man, I am picky! :-)
ReplyDeleteAlways hard to make a choice, but I've got to go with #5. For a New Yorker, that table screams Winter to me. :)
ReplyDeleteImagining the crew at the frozen table breaking into song, "Do you want to build a snoooooowmaaaaaan?"
ReplyDeleteI am going with 5, silver!
#7 looks fine to me. Looks like I am not able to leave a comment except by anonymous again......take another lap around Mt Sinai....again! Cards4ubylouise
ReplyDeleteNumber #7, I just love it!!
ReplyDeleteSince I have to make changes, just give me #1, the BEAR table! Maybe someone could BEAR to sit with me, the grouch who finds fault with everything! LOL!
ReplyDeleteGoing with #9, and yes, I might freeze my behind! Actually, I prefer to think of it as a quaint movie set for the Hallmark channel with a roaring fire behind my behind ;-)
ReplyDelete#5 for me, Shiver me Silver ~ I like the sparkle of it, perfect for a winter night dinner.
ReplyDeleteWell, our family ended up getting the virus! All four of us. ;-( What a week!! Today I am finally feeling better. I hope to be back on track this week.
xx oo
Carla
Number 3.
ReplyDelete#6- It brightens up the Winter blues.
ReplyDeleteLisa
I love 4, as long at the barn is heated!
ReplyDeleteI’ll go for #1- I love bears and this one grabbed me right off!
ReplyDeleteThey're all lovely, but that white and gold table looks sooooo warm and cozy! I vote for #7!
ReplyDeleteI have to go with the TeddyBear one, as that is my hubby's nickname for me!! Thanks for the 'game'!
ReplyDeleteNumber two for me.
ReplyDeleteMerle............
Very pretty...my favorite is #4.
ReplyDelete#6 need those colors to warm us up.
ReplyDelete#2 Baby I'm blue...I know I can't pick more than one but oh how I love some to the sparkly tables! Can't wait to hear your news! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteOK, it's #1. I collect bears and having a table with bears is unbearably nice.
ReplyDeleteI collect bears too so it had to be the first one, loved it.
ReplyDeleteI surprised myself...I really like number 6. How is Lulu doing?
ReplyDeleteSmooches.
Debbie
xo
All of these tables are beautiful, but Red is my favorite color so I'm going with table #6!!
ReplyDeleteA new adventure with your son...hmm... I can't wait to hear what you are up too!
Have a great week!
Hugs,
Amy
#7 please!!!!!!!!1 Cheers!!!
ReplyDeleteAnother tough one..I love the Hydrangeas in #2, #7 is classy but I guess I'll go for #5...How is Lulu? How about if I leave more than one comment with different choices?? Would you notice?? Of course!!
ReplyDeleteHave to pick #1, not only is it cute, but it has a slightly naughty title! 😊 Jane
ReplyDeleteLooks like table #1 is going to be crowded.......guess I'll be a the few seated at table 4!
ReplyDeleteOh goody! Going with #4 because here in Texas we could sit outside and I like barns! :)
ReplyDelete#9 is my choice!!! Wonder if I will be all alone?
ReplyDeleteI would like to sit at #8 please! Beautiful! Nancy
ReplyDelete#7
ReplyDeleteAs hard as it was for me I did pick only one. But I want you to know I only picked one because you "told" me I had too! So based on that I picked #, #, #, I'm really trying here, #, #, #4! There I did it I only picked one but I must say I really liked #9 but since its been so fricking cold I went with #, #, #, #4! Phew I'm sure glad that's over. I need to lie down a bit and contain myself.
ReplyDeleteNumber 1 looks fun to me.
ReplyDeletePhyllis
No. 1.. I love teddy bears..
ReplyDeleteI pick #5! Love these!!! Thanks for doing one again !!!!
ReplyDeleteNumber 4 for me please
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteYou are soooo mean! Only one? I had it narrowed down to three, but then you reminded me that even with all that extra padding, #9 was not practical...so I pick #5!
ReplyDeleteNumber 4, lovely!
ReplyDeleteI really like number 4, but I would have to choose number 1 because I really hate sitting across the table from someone and having to crane around a visual obstacle, as beautiful as it is. ;) Hoping Lulu is doing well. blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDelete#4 for me. I would like to have a bit more room on that table but I really love what it is decorative with. I am not a fine china sort of person and I do more of the rustic look. Love the table.
ReplyDeleteI am sitting here embarrassed, because 1) I was about to pick my nose and 2) I love table #9! Do I have to sit out there though???
ReplyDelete#2 and I wouldn't change a thing, wink wink...
ReplyDeleteNumber 5 for me please. Blessings
ReplyDeleteEven though I love #4, I think it would be hard to talk to the people across the table, having to peek through the flowers. I'll go for #1, because it's fun and whimsical. Prayers are for your sweet granddaughter, Diana!
ReplyDelete#1 - Once I saw those adorable bears I was hooked! SO cute the others didn't stand a chance with me haha!
ReplyDeleteA very hard choice but I vote Red and Aqua!
ReplyDeleteThey are all a bit fancy for me, but I think I would pick #4. I enjoy things pulled together with natural elements and not too complicated. We'll see if anyone else agrees with me . . . sometimes I'm a lone reed waving in the breeze, LOL.
ReplyDeleteSince I am just a plain, simple, country born and raised, Number 4 would work for me.
ReplyDelete#4 for me please.
ReplyDeleteOk, this time I am having a hard time picking but I will go with #4 Barnside. It is just so cozy for winter. If it were Spring, I would have chosen Aqua and Red since those are my fav colors!
ReplyDeleteI like a number of them, but I like the bear setting best (but without the bears....:)).....

I love the Bear it at the Table, and WITH the bears definitely. If they were Scottish Blackface sheep, then it would be even better. But I'll take what cute animal life I can get - without resorting to antlers. :-(
ReplyDeleteMy pick is #6. It was a tough choice, but I love those little napkin rings.
ReplyDeleteLove the simplicity of the Barnside table #4....
ReplyDeleteHey, Put me down for table number 5#
ReplyDeleteWish we all could meet for a set down dinner one day ;o)
I love the farm table #4 - - which isn't typical of my style, but it looks so relaxing and comfy - I'll even buy a flannel shirt to wear to dinner!
ReplyDeleteNumber one...so sweet!!
ReplyDeleteThey are all pretty but with Valentine's on the mind, I'm loving the aqua and red table. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going with #5, but I also like blue sparkle, but it's a little crowded. And I like the barn setting. Good job!
ReplyDeleteHi Diana
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is 5 as I recently did a winter table similar to that one.
Thanks!
Definitely not the last one, and I'm hoping #4 is inside, and if it is, it's my choice!
ReplyDeleteCome SNOW or NOT, I pick #9...too pretty to pass up....and I luv DIFFERENT...!!
ReplyDelete#2 hands down
ReplyDeleteI love the first one, it is just way too cute to say no to. I think I fixed my noreply/blogger problem. I spent a good hour trying to figure out how they reworked the blogger menus.
ReplyDeleteLove number #7. So pretty.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Kris
It was hard to choose just one, but number 4 is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteLoving them all but I must go with #3. Those antlers stole my heart! LOL! Hope you are doing well dear lady. Happy Week! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteI don't know any of the sources so I hope that I don't get any of my fellow bloggers mad at me. I like #3. I have been so into antlers lately. Enjoy your day, dear Diana.
ReplyDeleteHi Diana, oh how fun I love #5 Shiver Me Silver!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the week.
Hugs, Julie
I pick #1 - so original and different!
ReplyDeleteDiana, I'll take Table #1, please, with the bears!
