PICK YOUR FAVORITE JANUARY TABLE!

I haven't done one of these in a while
so I thought it would be fun.
I found several
WINTER TABLE SETTINGS
to show you here.

Your duty is to pick the one you like best
and VOTE on it.
I know SOME of you have a hard
time picking just one but  please try!

I did a little research and the first time that
the word tablescape came into use
(as best they can trace it)
was on Sandra Lee's show
on the Food Network.
Who knew?
I always thought the word
TABLESCAPE was coined by
Martha Stewart herself.

Anyway-
Without further rambling here are your choices.

Okay!  Now it is up to you!
Which table would YOU like to sit at?
I'll provide the food and you provide the company.
I think we will ALL pass on #9
even as pretty as it is!

I'll give you the tally in a day or so..
I am still working on my son
with a very exciting
NEW BUSINESS VENTURE
and want to share that with you soon.
Just trying to get all of our ducks
in a row and the media end of it set up.

So--there you have it--
Don't PICK your nose FAVORITE!

  3. Diana, I think number one . I love how that long table. I would have loved that growing up. :) From what I have learned about keeping ducks in a row...Linda Chapman at Linda's Life Journal taught me...you better have some cracked corn to offer. LOL. Blessings and good luck wishes to you, xoxo, love, Susie

  4. #9, but I am not sitting outside...bring it in!

  5. Number two hands down; love the simplicity! Excited to hear about the new venture. :)

  6. I'm going with #5 -- Shiver Me Silver! As for #9, one restaurant in Winnipeg always had an outdoor lunch every January called the Polar Bear Luncheon. It was always a crapshoot whether the day would be mild (just under 0) or freezing (down to -30). It was staggeringly popular.

  7. #1 for me! The chairs look comfy and that’s important at my age! I really liked #4 but no backs to that bench and is a deal breaker for me! This is so much fun!

    ReplyDelete
  8. #6 gets my vote....aqua and red just say "HAPPY" for me!

    Warm hugs,
    Carol

  9. #2 for me please! #9 is nice, but there is no way I'm going to sit out there in the cold to eat! Always love these--so fun!

  10. I'd like a reservation for Table 4 please!

  11. I choose barnside outside today lol,,to be honest my table rarely see's anything so elaborate, at this moment it has a puzzle half completed, watercolor paints with watercolor teacup water (precious elixir ) the tea pot from lunch and the grocery flyers for Sunday sales!!! Sad sad sad lol,, thanks for the treat to my eyes!!

  12. I would like a seat at #1 please! I need the cuteness and fun of this table to cheer me up this cold winter!

  13. Number 2. For some reason, blue dishes are the prettiest to me. You know, the word TABLESCAPE I never liked. I don't know why they didn't stick with the original "table setting." That was lovely. I hope your business venture turns out just the way you want, Diana.

  14. Number 1. It says winter, but it feels warm and those bears are too cute!

    ReplyDelete
  15. Did anybody say #6, Aqua and Red? I love those colors but I would take away that giant red arrangement in the center and replace it with a smaller red floral one. Man, I am picky! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  16. Always hard to make a choice, but I've got to go with #5. For a New Yorker, that table screams Winter to me. :)

  17. Imagining the crew at the frozen table breaking into song, "Do you want to build a snoooooowmaaaaaan?"

I am going with 5, silver!

  18. #7 looks fine to me. Looks like I am not able to leave a comment except by anonymous again......take another lap around Mt Sinai....again! Cards4ubylouise

  19. Since I have to make changes, just give me #1, the BEAR table! Maybe someone could BEAR to sit with me, the grouch who finds fault with everything! LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Going with #9, and yes, I might freeze my behind! Actually, I prefer to think of it as a quaint movie set for the Hallmark channel with a roaring fire behind my behind ;-)

  21. #5 for me, Shiver me Silver ~ I like the sparkle of it, perfect for a winter night dinner.

Well, our family ended up getting the virus! All four of us. ;-( What a week!! Today I am finally feeling better. I hope to be back on track this week.

  25. I have to go with the TeddyBear one, as that is my hubby's nickname for me!! Thanks for the 'game'!

  29. OK, it's #1. I collect bears and having a table with bears is unbearably nice.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I collect bears too so it had to be the first one, loved it.

  31. I surprised myself...I really like number 6. How is Lulu doing?
    Smooches.

  32. All of these tables are beautiful, but Red is my favorite color so I'm going with table #6!!

A new adventure with your son...hmm... I can't wait to hear what you are up too!

    Have a great week!

    Hugs,
    Amy

  33. Another tough one..I love the Hydrangeas in #2, #7 is classy but I guess I'll go for #5...How is Lulu? How about if I leave more than one comment with different choices?? Would you notice?? Of course!!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Have to pick #1, not only is it cute, but it has a slightly naughty title! 😊 Jane

    ReplyDelete
  35. Looks like table #1 is going to be crowded.......guess I'll be a the few seated at table 4!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Oh goody! Going with #4 because here in Texas we could sit outside and I like barns! :)

    ReplyDelete
  37. #9 is my choice!!! Wonder if I will be all alone?

    ReplyDelete
  38. I would like to sit at #8 please! Beautiful! Nancy

  39. As hard as it was for me I did pick only one. But I want you to know I only picked one because you "told" me I had too! So based on that I picked #, #, #, I'm really trying here, #, #, #4! There I did it I only picked one but I must say I really liked #9 but since its been so fricking cold I went with #, #, #, #4! Phew I'm sure glad that's over. I need to lie down a bit and contain myself.

  40. Number 1 looks fun to me.

  43. You are soooo mean! Only one? I had it narrowed down to three, but then you reminded me that even with all that extra padding, #9 was not practical...so I pick #5!

    ReplyDelete
  44. I really like number 4, but I would have to choose number 1 because I really hate sitting across the table from someone and having to crane around a visual obstacle, as beautiful as it is. ;) Hoping Lulu is doing well. blessings ~ tanna

  45. #4 for me. I would like to have a bit more room on that table but I really love what it is decorative with. I am not a fine china sort of person and I do more of the rustic look. Love the table.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I am sitting here embarrassed, because 1) I was about to pick my nose and 2) I love table #9! Do I have to sit out there though???

    ReplyDelete
  47. #2 and I wouldn't change a thing, wink wink...

    ReplyDelete
  48. Number 5 for me please. Blessings

    ReplyDelete
  49. Even though I love #4, I think it would be hard to talk to the people across the table, having to peek through the flowers. I'll go for #1, because it's fun and whimsical. Prayers are for your sweet granddaughter, Diana!

  50. #1 - Once I saw those adorable bears I was hooked! SO cute the others didn't stand a chance with me haha!

    ReplyDelete
  51. A very hard choice but I vote Red and Aqua!

    ReplyDelete
  52. They are all a bit fancy for me, but I think I would pick #4. I enjoy things pulled together with natural elements and not too complicated. We'll see if anyone else agrees with me . . . sometimes I'm a lone reed waving in the breeze, LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Since I am just a plain, simple, country born and raised, Number 4 would work for me.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Ok, this time I am having a hard time picking but I will go with #4 Barnside. It is just so cozy for winter. If it were Spring, I would have chosen Aqua and Red since those are my fav colors!

    ReplyDelete
  55. I like a number of them, but I like the bear setting best (but without the bears....:)).....

  56. I love the Bear it at the Table, and WITH the bears definitely. If they were Scottish Blackface sheep, then it would be even better. But I'll take what cute animal life I can get - without resorting to antlers. :-(

    ReplyDelete
  57. My pick is #6. It was a tough choice, but I love those little napkin rings.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Love the simplicity of the Barnside table #4....

    ReplyDelete
  59. Hey, Put me down for table number 5#
Wish we all could meet for a set down dinner one day ;o)

    ReplyDelete
  60. I love the farm table #4 - - which isn't typical of my style, but it looks so relaxing and comfy - I'll even buy a flannel shirt to wear to dinner!

    ReplyDelete
  61. They are all pretty but with Valentine's on the mind, I'm loving the aqua and red table. :)

    ReplyDelete
  62. I'm going with #5, but I also like blue sparkle, but it's a little crowded. And I like the barn setting. Good job!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Hi Diana
My favorite is 5 as I recently did a winter table similar to that one.

    Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Definitely not the last one, and I'm hoping #4 is inside, and if it is, it's my choice!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Come SNOW or NOT, I pick #9...too pretty to pass up....and I luv DIFFERENT...!!

    ReplyDelete
  66. I love the first one, it is just way too cute to say no to. I think I fixed my noreply/blogger problem. I spent a good hour trying to figure out how they reworked the blogger menus.

    ReplyDelete
  67. It was hard to choose just one, but number 4 is my favorite!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Loving them all but I must go with #3. Those antlers stole my heart! LOL! Hope you are doing well dear lady. Happy Week! Hugs and blessings, Cindy

    ReplyDelete
  69. I don't know any of the sources so I hope that I don't get any of my fellow bloggers mad at me. I like #3. I have been so into antlers lately. Enjoy your day, dear Diana.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Hi Diana, oh how fun I love #5 Shiver Me Silver!
    Enjoy the week.
    Hugs, Julie
