Well, here I am again
asking for
PRAYERS
for a member of our family.
This is our son-in-law,
Jason The Harley Man,
holding little Bright Eyes on her
first day of 3 year old pre-school.
(yes-yes-she cut her hair tight to her head
just a couple of days earlier)-
I have not mentioned this until now
because my son-in-law
wanted to inform
people he worked with and
his own family members first.
A while ago he discovered a lump
on the side of his neck.
It stayed the same for a while
but then started to get bigger.
He went in to have it looked at.
It was a fluid filled sac surrounding a cyst.
However, the doctor looked a bit futher
and discovered another lump
that Jason had not even noticed.
It has been diagnosed as
METASTATIC THYROID CANCER.
The chances of a complete cure
are very good.
We are just praying that it is localized
and not in his lymph node system.
Please pray for a good report.
Also pray for his family,
my daughter, Mindy,
his boys, Ethan, Charlie
and the little princess,
BrightEyes (aka Anna Ireland).
They need a healthy
husband and daddy
in their lives.
They need a lot more beach adventures!
AND
After all-
Mimi needs to ride behind
SOMEBODY on that Harley!
See what I mean?
So---if you are a pray-er,
please pray.
Otherwise please wing good
and healing wishes
their way!
Thank you so much...
AND ALSO
thank you
for coming by my new blog
and supporting my Etsy Shop-
also called
You guys are
THE BEST!
You know I will pray for him. Hide scissors from Bright Eyes!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, he will be in our prayers here in Houston. This type of cancer is usually well treated and curable. However, we all need the hand of the Lord at times like this, don't we ?? Sending love,

ReplyDeleteDearest Diana, lifting your son-in-law up right now. I have been praying for so many with C. So glad they found it! Prayers for grace, peace and healing all around!
ReplyDeleteDiana,
ReplyDeleteSending prayers to Jason and your family! My nephew was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in his early twenties and recovered well. My husband had a nodule removed a while back on his thyroid and thankfully it turned out not to be cancerous. His doctor told him if you have to have any type of cancer that thyroid is one of the easiest to cure and hopefully they will find it hasn't gone into any nymph nodes. Please keep us updated on his recovery and we will keep him in our thoughts and prayers.
ππππ❤️
ReplyDeleteSending lots and lots of prayers their way for a perfect report. I just know he'll be fine. xoxo
ReplyDeleteDi, will be sending up prayers for your guy and his family. Too young to be anything but a survivor! And a good reminder to us all to have a lump or bump checked out by a doctor instead of trying to think it away.
