UPDATED PRAYER REQUEST FOR THREE PEOPLE NOW & An Update On Jill

ANOTHER ADDITION TO THE PRAYER CHAIN:

Deb over at
FRUGAL LITTLE BUNGALOW
has a post about the prayer they need right now.
Her sons' dad succumbed quite unexpectedly to
heart failure.

They are broken hearted.

I should have been
on the ball quicker with this.
My bad
(do kids even say that anymore)--

Anyway,
Please pray for Nonnie's husband, Jay.

He is having surgery today for an
abdominal aortic aneurysm.
Kind of a scary surgery so please
pray for Jay, the surgeon,
and the family's peace of heart.

Also-
My friend, Robbin's mom,
is having cancer surgery tomorrow.
This is a serious one, folks.
You can read about it on Robbin's blog

Please pray for both these people
AND their families.
If you are NOT a pray-er,
please send them good wishes
and healing thoughts.

Thank you and I will update you
when I know more.

Update on:
Jill is home and recovering and
appears to be doing well.
She thanks you for all prayers
and healing wishes.
She is "playing" on Pinetrest
and if you click the link above
it will take you to her blog
where she is sharing some of her
Easter finds.

Have a great afternoon & evening.
Thank you so much for your faithfulness
in the way this community of bloggers
bands together to pray for, and cheer on
others.

  6. Diana, You are the best. I have prayed for Robbin's mom. I will pray for Nonnie's hubby. He is a good husband and grandfather. It seems we begin to know people thru our blogging...then they start to seem like family. It's good we can pray for one another. So glad Jill in already home. Blessings to you and yours, xoxo, Susie

  7. Praying...your blog has become a little chapel of sorts. Lovely use of a blog. I can not imagine the letdown of having surgery postponed as in Jay's case, though when we are leaving things in God's hands, it is the safest place in all the world to be. So glad that Jill is feeling better and will zip on over to say hello. Praying also for this precious mom. I understand that one all too well. Blessings and the comfort of The Lord to all.

  25. You have my prayers Diana for these lovely people. Jill sent me a lovely email thanking me, that was so sweet.

I had some good news today. The heart specialists said that there was NOT any new damage to my heart, which he was please about. Will see me in 3 months and re-do the test in 6 months. He said that it may stay the same, but if I have any problems to go to the hospital immediately. I feel so blessed, I know you have been saying prayers, so thank you my dear friend.

    Much love,
    Mary
