As most of you know I de-cluttered to
downsize and get ready to move
this past summer.
That means that about 2/3 of my
CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS
are stored in a warehouse a few miles from here.
At least I grabbed a few boxes and
I was NOT BLUE to find
THE BLUE BOX!
This was a gift from my friend, Donna R.
several years ago.
I just added a blue & white glass ball
to 'theme him up' a bit.
I split most of my Santa collection up
between my kids-but I couldn't bear
to part with him.
I have a blue, white & silver tree.
Lots of baubles on that baby!
Just a sweet bow topper-
uh-oh- I see a couple of green wires!
A gifted angel-
Icicles-
A bowl of ornaments with a strand of lights in it...
After I left Kris's party here
I drove down to see my daughter, Mimi,
in Indiana.
Watching THIS would chase away the
BLUES in ANY HOUSE!
Our little BrightEyes loves
decorating the
CHILDREN'S TREE!
Where the kids can move ornaments at will...
and she often does!
And- like any good little
WISCONSIN BORN CHILD
she is wearing her
GREEN BAY PACKER OUTFIT
to 'work' in.
Now- if you MISSED my Instagram post
this is what she looked like at the mall!
OH! LOOK! I SEE SANTA!!!
She is wearing the coat her mama wore
as a toddler!
I have lots more
CHRISTMAS
to show you in the next few days.
Huh? What?
Okay then- Quit whining-
I will get right on that!
Hope YOU ALL have a great day!
Love that tree!! (And sweet bright eyes.)

ReplyDeleteI missed that picture, oh my, cutest picture ever. Love the coat. Her expression is priceless. You look like you have some beautiful decorations. Last year I hadn't found my decorations. I liked the simple better. Too much out so far here. I need to find a happy medium. That's the goal today.
ReplyDeleteSo fun for you to combine two great visits. You need some special times after the year you have had.
Hugs my friend.
I LOVE the idea of having a children's tree that they can decorate and play with! The party at Kris's house looked like so much fun ....would loved to have been there. Your blue tree and Santa are gorgeous....can't wait to see more...hugs...

ReplyDeleteLittle Anna in Mindy's coat is the cutest thing! She is so adorable, honestly I can barely stand it. LOL I bet she does move ornaments on the tree...a girl has to have them placed just so.
Have a good day and stay warm!
xoxo, T.
Your decorations are elegant! Your granddaughter's expression - PRICELESS! Bring on the photos - love them. How is John doing by the way?
ReplyDeleteBright Eyes is just adorable in her mama's coat! Your decorations are lovely and I always enjoy a little blue at Christmas time.

ReplyDeleteSo sweet!
ReplyDeleteOh Diana, your blue Christmas décor is simply breathtaking! I have always decorated with the traditional green and red but seeing your beautiful blue and silver makes me wonder about changing it up one day. ReplyDeleteOooo, everything looks so pretty around your house, Diana. I'm lovin' that blue and white Christmas tree. Still have to get mine this week. :) The bowl of ornaments is simple and elegant. And I love that white Santa. I just bought a white fairy, and it was kind of expensive, but sometimes we have to treat ourselves. Oh, doesn't Bright Eyes look so cute in this picture, and I can't believe she is wearing the coat her mama wore when she was little. That's so special. Love that mint color - she looks like a sweet pistachio ice cream cone haha.

Carla
Love it all Diana! Your tree is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh, the fun of downsizing...honestly though I thought I would be missing a lot of the things that we purged, but I'm not...it made the things I kept that more special!
That photo of BrightEyes is catalogue worthy! Love that she is wearing her mom's coat - adorable!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend! Hugs!! Kimberley
I love her little mint green coat, Diana! With that expression on her face, she ought to be on a Christmas card. I'm enjoying seeing all my blog friends' Christmas decor as for the first time ever I'm not decorating at all. Other than a tall white poinsettia plant my husband brought home we are bare, everything but the dishes we're eating on and the clothes we're wearing is packed, waiting for our move after Christmas. So your minimal blue Christmas looks very festive to me!
ReplyDeleteSweet Diana, I'm thrilled you and Kris finally saw each other.
ReplyDeleteSweet cheeks is adorable. I love her Packer outfit and her coat. Her face seeing Santa is PRICELESS. My thoughts are also with your HERO
Cindy

ReplyDeleteA tree with blue balls? We had them growing up. Now the only blue balls we have around here belong to fisherman. :/
