I haven't been posting much
since MyHero was stricken with cancer.
However,
I HAVE TO SHARE THIS.
Remember the times you got your kids
all dressed up cute for a special occasion?
AND then let them play for just a few minutes!
So cute as she examines her well-used mower
in her special little smocked dress.
AND THEN
YOU RAN TO THE BATHROOM!
When you came out of the bathroom
THIS was standing against the garage door....
And once inside
it looked like
THIS!
Happy Birthday,
Dirty Girl!
Your Nana loves you to the moon and back!
Oh my goodness!!! I guess she had a lot of fun! :-)
ReplyDeleteOh, what a little mess, but oh so stinkin cute! Happy Birthday sweet girl!
ReplyDeleteI read the post before this one, too and I'm praying he feels better soon!!
oh LOL that's a choose between laugh and cry moment! :)
ReplyDeleteoh LOL that's a choose between laugh and cry moment! :)
ReplyDeleteDiana, We kind of expect this with boys...but the baby girl. The hardest thing is keeping kids clean once they are dressed for an occasion. Get some hugs form that sweetie. You are all in my prayers...Blessings, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteOMG! That is just too funny! She looks like a little doll but is definitely a toddler! I hope that her dress didn't get stained. Happy Birthday to her!
ReplyDeleteOh she is too cute. Her pretty dress but who cares. She is a dolly. Giver a hugs from me and Sid for her Birthday.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your sweet, cute little angel! Hope it came clean!
ReplyDeleteThat is hysterical!!! Keeper for sure. I grew up with three brothers so that was inevitable!!!
ReplyDeleteA beauty but that dress is quite ruined, I suspect. Oh well, mom, save it and show it to her, when this happens with her own children.
ReplyDeleteToo precious! Maybe the first indication that she is not a girly girl but a tomboy in disguise?! Either way, she is precious and will hopefully get a nice giggle if you show her that picture when she is a Momma!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh!!!! That is hilarious!!! I love it. Happy Birthday Bright Eyes! You look just like your Nana....minus the mud. HaHa!
ReplyDeleteLOVE it! I was also noticing two little boys in the background. What did they manage to get up to? I believe that mud and puddles have special magnetic powers perceived only by children. -Jenn
ReplyDeleteShe certainly must have had fun! That's the thing about a skirt or dress...you kneel down to adjust your lawnmower and the hem falls in the mud... The pictures are definitely keepers...xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh she is adorable, mud and all. What a delight!! Hope she enjoyed a special 2nd birthday. Have a relaxing weekend sweet friend. xoxo
ReplyDeletep.s. and our prayers continue!!!

Say that was right before the party!! I know you all got a well-needed laugh out of that. And her knees seem to be relatively clean---how'd she dip that hem so neatly? So to speak.
ReplyDeleteBeen thinking of you EVERY day,
rachel, veteran of many many a before-Sunday-School muddy shoe, knees, britches legs, dress bottom, entire BEE-hind squatted into the ONE mudhole in 2000 acres. And once, I walked out to see DS2, whose head was a riot of spiky curls, with his hair on fire. glowing on the tips like one of those fiber-optic lamps, while his slightly-older brother tried to beat it out with a broom.
I think they wanted to burn the trash-barrel while we were away from home, to avoid the smoke, you see.
love you!
Dear Diana,
ReplyDeleteShe is such a cute girl even if she is a dirty one! HA! Hope you know your hero and you are in my continued prayers. xx
LOL...She is so adorable clean or dirty, I swear she could be in commercials she is soooo cute. Hope all is going well with your Hero, it is a long road, but a year from now it will all seem like a bad dream as you run around and preparing for Easter
ReplyDeleteHugs Carol
Ha ha ha. I love this to the moon and back. My girls did the same this weekend and I had to scrub the tub after they were out. Looked like 2 miners instead of grand girls had bathed in their.
