HAPPY BIRTHDAY DIRTY GIRL---BEFORE AND AFTER!! Here's MUD in your eye!

I haven't been posting much
since MyHero was stricken with cancer.
However,
I HAVE TO SHARE THIS.

Remember the times you got your kids
all dressed up cute for a special occasion?

AND then let them play for just a few minutes!
So cute as she examines her well-used mower
in her special little smocked dress.
AND THEN
YOU RAN TO THE BATHROOM!
When you came out of the bathroom
THIS was standing against the garage door....
And once inside
it looked like
THIS!
Happy Birthday,
Dirty Girl!

Your Nana loves you to the moon and back!

  70. Say that was right before the party!! I know you all got a well-needed laugh out of that. And her knees seem to be relatively clean---how'd she dip that hem so neatly? So to speak.

Been thinking of you EVERY day,

rachel, veteran of many many a before-Sunday-School muddy shoe, knees, britches legs, dress bottom, entire BEE-hind squatted into the ONE mudhole in 2000 acres. And once, I walked out to see DS2, whose head was a riot of spiky curls, with his hair on fire. glowing on the tips like one of those fiber-optic lamps, while his slightly-older brother tried to beat it out with a broom.

I think they wanted to burn the trash-barrel while we were away from home, to avoid the smoke, you see.

    love you!
