Prayers for John and for you. We do not understand the trials in life that come our way. So don't try to figure it out. Just trust Him. Let Him carry this burden for you. I am praying for you both. My husband had base of tongue cancer, the feeding tube etc. Treatment for Head and neck cancer is brutal and scary. The Cancer Society has a network of wonderful people called Cancer Survivors Network. They are grouped by type of cancer. The Head and neck cancer group is very active and knowledgeable. I would not have made it through my husbands treatment without them. Praying for you both.

I have followed people on The Caring Bridge a few times. It is a good place to go to write your journal and keep others informed. I hope everything will go well today and for the days that follow.
