I WON! I WON! I WON A GIVEAWAY! Wait til you see THIS!

Several weeks ago 
I threw my name into the hat 
at
for a sweet 
Jeanne d'Arc bag.

I told Sissie I had the 
PERFECT outfit to wear with it..
IF I won!
She probably thought-
yeah-right....

Well, I DID win
nanya nanya booboo-stick your head in doodoo
and I DO have the perfect outfit 
for this bag!

Here, my friends, is what I won!
HELLO GORGEOUS BAG!
Is that not one of the prettiest bags you have
EVER SEEN?

And- I DO have the outfit to match!
I know- things look kind of
BLAH--just hanging--but--
that is what you're getting!

When my youngest daughter was here
I thought she was
EYEING UP my NEW BAG!
No you don't sister! You are NOT getting my bag!

I quickly diverted her attention by telling her
I was making 
VELVET pumpkins and asked her if she wanted a couple.
She said Yes!
She took ALL TEN of them.

Hmmm...I "might have" had a few
stashed out of sight!

    Congratulations! I thought of you yesterday when I passed a house with a blue light on instead of green. I had a whole vision of a color blind person with good intentions shopping at WalMart in a Diana post-worthy outfit. Maybe they are just a K Mart enthusiast.
    Also, I don't know if you remember me saying this like three years ago (the last time I tried to update my blog roll), but for whatever reason your blog will not show up. I tried to update it again a few days ago and I add your name and then it disappears. I think maybe one of your Walmart photos must have been of an underemployed Blogger engineer and he's holding a grudge.

    My jaw dropped seeing that bag. Seriously it is the prettiest bag I have ever seen in my life - and yes yes yes you most certainly DO have the perfect outfit to go with it. Just WOW.

    As for dd's taking things, absolutely - my youngest calls it "shopping at Mamma's." LOL. Now my eldest never really does much - she just is in "purge" mode and now has been joking about her little sister "shopping for junk" in her take-now-or-forever-be-silent-cuz-you-didn't-grab-it-before-it-was-donated pile. Ah, the circle of life is refreshing, is it not?

    Thing is to be honest? That youngest of mine uses our stuff in the grandest of ways - I swear they could write a book about her, she is so danged clever with design and repurposing and re-using things in such a fabulous way!

    Finally: YOUR VELVET PUMPKINS ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! Haha, she took all ten. Heh, glad you had some stashed. ♥ You're no fool.
