ReplyDelete80% better.... excellent..... what in the world did you have???? has any doc told you???? 'cause next year, you will certainly want to avoid "IT"... if possible..... yeah, I know.... often, where we get something, is a mystery.... I do remember that you said you coughed first, at a concert, on dec. 7th.... but the question is, where were you, 3-4 days, before dec. 7th....
please don't add my name to the possible give-away. I'm not entering them, at this time. just chalk it up, to me-being-me. I wish good luck, to all your other readers.
lots of big hugs to you.... big warm hugs, cause we in the upper regions, sure need any/all warmth, we can get!
Diana, I am so glad you are feeling better...please don't over do. I do not know if I could have left that pretty area for snow. LOL. It was good that you could have time with your sweet family to get better.. You have been missed some thing terrible. We have been lucky here, little snow, no illnesses. Tell SC , Lulu, and Ria, I have missed reading about them thru your blog. Blessings to all of your family and you dear Diana. Love you, Susie

Hello,
ReplyDeleteOh, I would have stayed in Florida too. :-)
We woke up to wind, wind and more wind. My boys have their best buddies staying the weekend. So I have 4 boys, plus my hubby = 5 :-))
The boys just ventured outside for a little awhile. We had plans to go on a candlelight hike tonight, but too cold. Plan B, games, movies, popcorn and fun. :-)
Thank you for the opportunity to win a very good book.
I am so happy your are feeling better! Praying you continue to heal.
Carla
So happy to see you are feeling better and getting back to your normal, healthy, fun self. Happy Valentine's Day to you. Your table looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteHappy V Day to you and glad you're home safely and feeling some better. FL would have been hard to leave...it's snowing HARD here and not sure how many inches we're getting. enough, I'm sure, to stop church in the morning. enough to stop me from going anyway. be totally well SOON!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, Diana....I have missed you. Hope you are 100 percent soon.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are feeling better! You've really had a bout. Glad you had a good trip. Welcome back to the artic!

So happy to hear that you are on the mend finally, Diana! I think your time in the sun did you good:) What, you don't like living in the arctic zone??? I've been complaining about the cold temps down here, but I guess I shouldn't. It's supposed to get to 11 below tonight in MI, brrr! Happy Valentine's Day!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day, my dear Diana. I'm so glad you got to warm up for awhile in the sun. It will be around 75 degrees this weekend, a beautiful day here today. I miss Mickey and Minnie, will have to see them soon. :~)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy this wonderful day of love.

ReplyDeleteSo glad you are feeling better Diana! Sounds like your family time and the warm weather worked it's magic!
ReplyDeleteDear sweet Nana Diana,
ReplyDeleteWoman and children of abuse is my passion of a charity and the book I will order. Perhaps a donation on top of the purchase price needs to be established to help out the cause. The giveaway is generous and I hope it will touch many in the attention that needs to be given to the ever perversive problem of abuse in our country.
Oh Diana, we love you and want you back to 100% with your wicked humor thrown in.
sending my love on this Valentine's Day.
xoxo,
Vera
Glad you're feeling better! Sorry bout the cold weather to welcome you back!! Think of this: 3 weeks til daylight savings time. The days are getting longer and it won't always be winter! Happy Valentine's Day.
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day! So good to hear you're feeling better! I bet it was hard to leave the sunshine in Florida though. I have noticed that the days are already getting longer, so that's a good sign that spring isn't too far off. :)
ReplyDeleteSo happy to see your post and glad to hear you are getting better day by day, Diana. Happy Valentine's Day! I'll bet your Hero was glad you were home for today. : ) I'm making mine filet mignon, steakhouse style, for dinner. One of his favorite dinners and one that I actually don't burn! Stay warm - it is frigid here!
ReplyDeleteWow! That a difference in temps. I'm glad that you are feeling better. I wish you were 100% better though :) I hope you enjoyed your time in Florida and that you can stay warm, comfy and recover quick at home.

I am so glad to hear that you're doing better. Wish we could have brought you back to a warmer Wisconsin! These winds and bitterly cold temps are ridiculous. Hope you can get toasty warm and back to full health soon, Diana. Blessings.
ReplyDeleteHappy that you are feeling better, Diana. If I were you I would hibernate until spring or even better until summer. WInter has decided to rear its unwelcome head here in Kentucky. I am not pleased. :)

Yea about your health!!! Booo about the weather...heck it is even cold here in Orlando, so you left before it set in...I guess there is no escaping it!

So glad that you are feeling better and Happy Valentine's Day to you. Enjoy the rest of the weekend too!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are feeling better. What a rude awakening to come home to all of this. You be careful and keep resting. Hugs and Happy Valentines Day.
ReplyDeleteI am glad to hear you are feeling somewhat better! Take it easy for a while so you don't relapse. Happy Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that you are getting better. I was so worried about you. When I had pneumonia I was in the hospital 1 week and it took me over a year to get my health back. But, of course I am much older than you. But, please take it seriously and don't over do.
ReplyDeleteI have missed your post very much and will be glad to see them again.
Hugs to you Diana
Mary
The book sounds really good. And it's great to hear you're finally feeling better. That sunshine probably didn't hurt.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're feeling better each day. But sorry to hear about your weather...brrrrr the book sounds interesting.

Gert
I'm glad your feeling better and what a beautiful place you left, I hear you about the snow and blasts of cold air I'll be glad when spring arrives for good! Would really love to read the book...love to read!
ReplyDeleteHi Diana! I sure hope you're back to 100% soon! Some of these blasted germs just won't give up! Seems like the cough/congestion can take the longest to get over. I'm sure that warm Florida sunshine helped a lot! I sure wouldn't mind that right now! What a beautiful place you were in, too! Happy Valentine's Day! Hugs, Leena
ReplyDeleteNow, that is the way to cure a cold, or pneumonia or anything! At least a good try! Welcome back to the frozen tundra!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Deb
Happy for you that you could get away for some R&R ! Florida is a great place for it! I would love to read the book, right now I can only comment, I am not getting any emails are being able to send any, don't know what's going on, that's blogger or Google!
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear you're on the mend. Just remember you're not 100% yet and please don't overtax yourself. Take care! Thinking of you!
ReplyDeleteDiana, I'm so happy you are getting better everyday! Pneumonia is a difficult thing to get over, so don't push yourself. Time is your friend when it comes to energy! It looks like you had a great time! Happy Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteThose flowers are stunning! I'm so glad you're feeling better now.
ReplyDeleteHave a relaxing day! xo
Diana, my invitation must have gotten lost too! This luncheon looks fabulous. I have been drooling over those awesome pink dinnerware for quite some time. I certainly hope you rid yourself of that nasty cough once and for all. I know how it can linger. Florida looks wonderful and especially Disneyland. Take care and don't over do it. xoxo
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely setting for the luncheon!
ReplyDeleteI must ask, however.....ARE YOU CRAZY???? why did you leave such a beautiful, warm setting to come home to this blizzard?! I know, your Hero has a hard time spreading peanut butter, but come on!!
I guess you are a better woman than I am.
LOVE YOU, toots.
Debbie
Great news sweetie pie! I'm thrilled you're actually 80% well, I'm even most of the time feeling like that!
ReplyDeleteSorry you had to leave sunny Flo., but I know, I rushed home because of the old boy too, after two weeks taking care of my sick DD, back in January and who now is with her fiancé on a European trip, and landed in Paris for Valentine's...can you believe it!
Thanks for the giveaway, I will enter as I love to read. I don't know if it's for foreign bloggers too?
Big hugs honey and I hope you had a sweet and cozy Valentine's in the freezing weather at home.
xoxo
FABBY
Hello sweet friend. Sorry you had to leave the nice weather to come home to the Arctic blast!!! Glad you had safe travels. So happy you are feeling so much better too. Have a great Sunday. Counting the days until we thaw lol!
ReplyDeleteLove ya,
Kris
I can only imagine how difficult it was to go back home to all that cold. It's chilly here but the sun is shining and there is no snow on the ground. However, we're supposed to get a wintry mix tomorrow. So, our nice weather will change slightly. Glad to hear that you're continuing to get better. I wonder if you can get a pneumonia vaccine once you're well to prevent it in the future. I don't know much about it but have heard it exists.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Diana. Glad to hear you are feeling 80% better. That sure has been a long haul for you. Gosh I would find it hard to leave the sunny shores of Florida. I think my neighbors just took off for warmer places this morning. Hope your Valentine Pizza dinner was delish. Have a good day.....I am hoping I can leave a comment today, google would not let me yesterday.
ReplyDeleteLouise
I'm so very glad you are feeling a lot better! I hope it won't be long until you are 100%...We've missed you! That is a beautiful spot you just left there. We are here in SC experiencing some cold weather...19 degrees overnight and this coming cold week we are looking for some type of ice or snow...hope it will be snow...Love ya!
ReplyDeleteOh, I am glad you are getting better. The look of pool is very inviting!
ReplyDeleteI would love to win the book, I don't do Facebook, so this is my only entry. Hey, I live in hope!
LOL.
Take great care of yourself.
Love, Kay
I'm so glad you are feeling better and that you will be back to blogging. We've all missed you.
ReplyDeleteHi Diana! We are going to get arctic weather even "down sauwth" tomorrow...if we are getting cold down here...what in the world is going to happen in your part of the world? Stay inside...we don 't want you to have any relapses. I'm so glad that you are getting better!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear your home safe and feeling better!
ReplyDeleteWell, I need you to be at 100%, so get back on the couch and rest up a bit :)
ReplyDelete"It feels so good to feel so good again"! That's my mantra these days. Hope you'll soon be at 100%. This has been a tough winter for so many of us. I'm sure Spring is gonna be extra sweet when it arrives!!
ReplyDeleteIt must have been so hard to leave that beautiful sunshine. Glad you are safely home and hope you will feel better every day.
ReplyDeleteDown south might be getting snow or might be getting ice or sleet or a mixture of whatever. We will have to see what tomorrow brings.
Take care of yourself.
I know the sunshine was good for you. Hope you'll be back to your self soon.
ReplyDeleteThat is so nice of you to do that for her...and if my name pops up, throw it out and pick another. I have read the book already, so give the chance to someone else!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your visit!! So glad to hear that you are on the mend and had a great time in Disney World. We only went there once and that was when the boys were 7 y/o and 9y/o, great ages!! I myself am not a park person, neither is Joe, and get sick on a lot of rides if I do not take dramamine!!!
ReplyDeleteI used to get Bronchitis every year, so severe that i had to take 2 weeks off from work with it. Then one year, I got pneumonia, they wanted me to be admitted to the hospital and I refused. It took about 2 months until I recovered from it but I have not had bronchitis nor pneumonia since then!!!
Go Figure!!!! Maybe I am immune for all I am exposed to AT WORK!!
Hugs,
Deb
How nice to get to spend extra time with your daughter on the drive home. Cold here in Texas today too. But, no snow or ice!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to hear that you are feeling better and sorry you had to leave sunny Florida....Stay rested and looking forward to your "comeback" soon!....
ReplyDeleteSo, so glad you felt like making the trip! I'm not sure I could have ~ seems it's taken forever for me to return to somewhat normal...whatever that is. :)
