No Sledding For Me Yet! Hello & Health Update

Thank all of you that have written
to me and sent me cards
and notes.
You are all too kind!

Anyway,
I am still recovering.
This has been a long process-
full of ups & downs.
The 2nd round of meds seemed to do the trick
and my lungs are clear of pneumonia.
I am still coughing but it is not
body-wracking like before.
Over-all prognosis is that another week
or so and I should be back to normal
(or as normal as I will ever be).

BEFORE I got sick I did get a
couple of projects done.
One was painting an old sled I had for
my DIL.
She loves it!
The lettering is done with a Sharpie
 Anyway,
I just wanted to let you know that I am okay
but still recovering.
I hope to be back on a regular basis soon.

Meanwhile, I think
CHILD LABOR LAWS
should be used to protect this child.
Little Bright-Eyes Mama Mimi put her here
to sort socks!
(because it is Mimi's least favorite job)
At least it looks like the
ENTERTAINMENT COMMITTEE
is working overtime to keep the
workers happy.
Ummmm..and where did HER sock go?
Have a wonderful Wednesday!

  8. Oh love the sled . Oh I am glad your on the mend and feeling better then you had wit the coughing. I hope I did not have my card to you sent back on my door step.
I was confused with two numbers. So your neighbors may get it or two neighbors. When one types on key boarf=d and then try to read it as on a snail mailing. It may be a problem. As I asked my friends what would you think that is. One said what I said the other said opposite. So will see.

I sang. all the way home . Please Mr. Postman .

  30. Diana I am sending my love to you. On Christmas I had food poisioning from the Eve over my SIL's then the 28th Flu hit big time, which turned into Bronchitis and I am still ill. What's with this forever recovery to wellness anymore? Posting tonight, a giveaway but 2015 will be posts of thought provoking stories. Does Mama Mimi ever find the loss mates? Your sleigh is über cool!!!

  31. DIANA, how many times have I told you to squeeze those kids down??? now look at Miss Bright Eyes....she is about ready for school. LOL. My gosh she truly has grown ...it seems way to fast. I am in shock. What a cute thing her sorting socks. Love it. The boys are good big brothers. I am so glad you are getting well. I was starting to really get worried. Blessings to all of you. You have been missed. xoxo,Susie

  32. Hi Diana! I'm SO glad that you are feeling better! Wow...Bright Eyes sitting up already? AND sorting socks? When I married my second husband he said he had never heard of the dryer "eating" socks....I had to show him that there were over 1,000 websites about this phenomenon...he married the wrong girl if he expects all socks that go into the laundry to come out all matched up. Maybe I need Bright Eyes to come be in charge of sock sorting at my house!

  33. Hi Diana, So glad you are starting to feel back to normal(come on gal, you were never normal, but neither am I-lol). I still have a cough-dry and hacking, just hoping it is over before my tests next week and then the surgerey. Can't think about coughing when you've got your lower abdomen stapled shut. Ouch!!! Love the sled!!! Your babies are so cute. Have a great evening!

  36. It is so good to hear that you are on the mend, Diana! Pneumonia is a very serious thing and can really knock you right down pretty fast. My daughter was hospitalized for that very thing right before Christmas (she is recovered now and doing too much, of course). Please take it slow. The sled is just darling, but what is really darling is that little grandbaby of yours! All of them are just as precious as can be. Good luck finding that sock....Hugs and take good care of yourself. xo Karen
